C bear85, we are not going to agree on this one, but a lot of Gers fans didn't expect Lenny to last after xmas, he has taken 7 points out of 4 o.f games, and got us in 2 cup finals, you keep saying about other managers, but Strachan was very experienced, as for Mowbray, he was a complete nightmare, who imo will never do anything in football management, as he doesn't learn from his mistakes, (NO DEFENCE). I think Lenny has made lots of mistakes in his first season, but he his a very intelligent young coach, who will ultimately learn from his mistakes. Let's remember the Celtic job is massive for a rookie manager, and with everything else he has had to contend with, i think he has done an excellent job.
Anyway should you not be out getting steamed up, you are top o the league after all. Only kiddin !

U could say the same about mowbary that the players let him down, if strachan was in charge this season and had won nothin would u still b happy?? I honestly think I would do the same job as lennon if I was in charge. The guys got a squad doubble the size of rangers, all season we couldn't fill the bench. Am sorry p bhoy but if lennon can't win anything this season it tells u one thing. . he's crap. Now Celtic have some great players which adds to the fact that lennon is not the great manager u believe he is! # imo mccoist will be better than lennon next season because he has been better this season. Rumour has it he has been pickin the team all season and has actually been in charge and Smith has just been an advisor.

Sorry c bear, i know your'e on cloud nine, but i'm not one of these guy's who want a manager sacked, unless he is absolute garbage(tony mowbray). Lets be honest, he has been let down by his players in the games against smaller teams, (I.C.T, HAMILTON, M'WELL) . In his first season, he has reached 2 cup finals, was close to the league, and has won 3 old firm games. I know you will say he should have done better, but walter smiths experience has just done him. I really think we have a good manager on our hands. By the way, i will be the first on here to congratulate Walter Smith, if he wins the league, even though i don't like him, and i think he is overrated. I can still see he has done a good job, under the circumstances this year. I just don't think many gers fans, would ever give Lenny credit, no matter what he done!

At any point did i say smith spent that money and didn't bring any back in? Think not! My point was he has averaged 10 odd million a season since he got back. Doesnt matter how much has come back in he has bought a plethera of players. And considering the financial package whyte put together says 5mil a season, super sally is goin to have less to spend, on Average mind, than smith. Think bout it before you start to rant
