Really looking forward to see what happens in this transfer window once the management get back from there holidays, liking the look of some of the players we have been linked with so far.

Johnny Hayes

Caceres - he was a good player. Worth breaking the bank for? Not sure.

Duverne - can't comment as to whether he'd even make the first team but some top sides are watching him. Could we loan him out? And what about Ajer though, got high hopes for him.

Delph - never understood any hype.

Lucas - not for me. It'll have to be a special CM to break Broony and Armstrong up.

Onyekuru - very exciting. Too much of a risk though with his antics at 7m.

Hayes - squad player.

Azmoun - looks a classy forward. Would be disappointed if he was Dembele's replacement though.

Paddy Roberts - Yes, Yes, Yes. He's capable of unlocking defences at any level. He's got the skillset and bravery to take anybody on, he's added to the defensive/ pressing side of things and will only get better. Pay the 8m.

Average PL players have the potential to be stars in our league, sinclair being the example, i wouldn't mind lucas on a free tbh, sell bitton, tbh its roberts back in some capacity that excites me the most on that list, delph is a merc imo, onyekuru had his chance but looks like a dosh chaser, if we get hayes which im still not convinced of he will be cover for sinclair, dunno much about the CB and ST.

Do you think we will sign onyekeru. hayes . and Roberts.? . liked the look of the boy cyle larin worth a punt? . if moussa to chelski deal in van ginkel and christianson as part of deal. as you say jimTim Lucas and delph? As we still have to see what kouassi can do (possibly ajer in there also) guy I work with supports killie and says he's class.

Onyekuru never had a chance Wonderbhoy, his club knocked back our offer and now have agreed a £6.8M fee with Arsenal. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a decent amount of game time there tbh.

@ DRB; I'd have Van Ginkel over both of those players. Christensen is class but we'd do incredibly well to sign him. Tbh, I'm trying not to think about what I'd do with the 'Dembele Dollars'. And as for Kouassi we were told he's a talent so let's just wait until he settles in and gets a run 👍.

@Wonderbhoy; Would you split Armstrong and Brown up for Lucas? Push Armstrong forward? Or just get him in as competition? He's a good player Lucas, I'm just not sure what he's really good at if that makes sense and it would all depend on the price.

I don't rate bitton jim, so to get a player like lucas on a free, and a fee for bitton makes sense to me.

If we got Lucas in for the money we'd get from the sale of Bitton and his freed wages, It wouldn't be a step backwards I'll say that much. My guess would be he's on a good 60k a week though. He doesn't improve the first team for me, simply, but in terms of consistency and experience he would raise the squad. I like the idea of the player I think Bitton could be, rather than what he's shown at a consistent level and I think it's time we tried to improve his slot if we're being ruthless. I guess I'm just hoping for somebody else.
