I read in the football gossip pages down here in England that yet another one of these rangers fans have got away with yet more death threats to Neil Lennon, what is going on up ther by the look of it they won't be happy until one of these reprobates goes through with it as these people seem to get away with any thing aimed at this guy, the way I see it all the talk of Celtic and rangers comming down south Celtic would be welcomed with open arms but rangers is a different story and in my eyes ther the stumbling block if ther was to become a proper proposal from the efa, Danny yido

Although rangers died there fans still exist and have moved over to the new club, they have always had a disgusting element within them that will never change am afraid. Thing is our own media are starting to make out the Celtic fans are as bad by highlighting every little misdamenor but again that is Scotland for you.
to be honest a don't think we will ever be aloud in anytime soon and why would use want a 3rd teir club like them in anyway lol

dont understand all this fletcher talk cause why would we sign a striker at 7 million or that when he is around 30 hence no sell on value. there are other great players out there a lot younger and probably in my opinion a lot better i.e ings and rhodes

i mention rhodes as he isn't getting anywhere with blackburn and he is a player we all know suits us very well

but its not the striker position I am worried about. its the service they are getting and even more worrying is the fact we only ever play 1 up front. if we have two up front with commons in behind the front two (not pukki and stokes btw) and he would surely supply them with chances

alot of work needs done before the cl again considering forster will probably be gone

Fletcher is only 26. Scoring 14 goals in 46 games.

Rhodes is 23 and has scored 42 goals in 73 games.

I know which player I'd rather have, but doubt Rhodes is going to be available at a lower price. Cost them 8m and potentially his goals could fire them into the play off places and give them the best chance of getting back to the Premiership. So think they would be reluctant to sell.

sorry must been thinking would of been 30 by contract end. think blackburn are in a bit of a difficult position right now and rhodes is there top asset which may need shifted on

think the 8 million quoted was with a lot of add-ons though and depending on promotion. ed, were they not going to sell rhodes for in and around 6 million last year do you know?

{Ed007's Note - Huddersfield will not receive anywhere near £8 million for Rhodes Kieran. That would be the total if they had gained promotion last season, stayed in the EPL and it was also dependant on Rhodes own performances. Blackburn accepted a £6 million bid from a EPL team last summer but obviously the move never happened. I don't know why but I would hazard a guess that once Blackburn done their sums they realised that a large slice of the fee would have gone towards settling the money owed to Huddersfield.}

Fletcher is playing against some of the best defenders on the planet, Rhodes isnt. It's Fletcher for me, I'd take him over finbogasson aswell. I read an article saying finbogasson wants to stay in Holland because of his manager anyway. He will always just be a pipe dream and will more than likely never wear the hoops. We have a full team to sort out atm except our defense, but that will get tore apart by the board soon aswell. 10-15 mill comes in for vvd and peter will rip the hand off the bidder. I don't care what anyone says my ideal signings are ledley and sammy, I love Sammy and always have favorite player since naka. Troll me for it all you like ill always support Celtic players especially ones as loyal as he has been, when him and Scott Brown go, we won't see loyalty like that again. I don't think Sammy is totally to blame for his terrible form either.

I think Fletcher is very overrated, and very injury prone. No thanks, I'd rather we bring in another "work in progress" than an inflated priced disaster.

There appears to be a bit of Finboggason-mania among our fans. He certainly appears to be a quality striker but there are others who could do a job just as well for similar money. Don't ask me who they all are because I don't know but Finboggason isn't the only possible option. He may be an excellent one but let's not get too hyped up about the lad. For some fans it appears to be a "sign Finboggason or I'll cry for a lifetime" approach.
The Board will do what they think is right even if they have disappointed us before.

Totally agree with you chrisbhoy a actually wonder how many have actually seen him play seems to be an awful lot of Dutch football fans in amongst us these days. And b4 any1 starts am sure he is a gr8 goalscorer but am not gony shout about a player I haven't seen.

Dutch football was easy to view in the UK up until last season MB, ESPN had a contract for the Eredivisie. A lot of betting companies allow you to stream matches as well nowadays.

Hull have had an £8m bid knocked back by Sunderland for Fletcher, so that's us out the running without putting a bid in. If it's up to me personally I would go for either one of the player from Holland Finnbogason or Johansson.

Alrite Daz, they will reject anything but a stupit bid from Hull as they will be fighting the relegation battle with Sunderland. I think they would sell to us for 6 mil rather that to relegation candidate like Hull. But we don't want him really, he is not worth 6 mil never mind 8 mil, if we are going to spend 6 mil it has to be Finbogason as he would be the better option.

Just noticed on the tele that no bid has been made for Flecther. Makes more sense to go for Finnbogason though. Better scoring record, 4 years younger and £1m less. That's basic his wages for the year
