Alright troops?

What's all this fuss about them taking the hump when they're referred to as sevco?

It's ok for them to refer to us as the mhanky mob or the dhims. Personally I don't give a monkeys what they call us, however they must accept that I prefer to refer to them as Sevco, it's hardly offensive is it?

Rangers is died, end of story! I now realise is p@sses them off so much, however I won't relent.

Sevco it is, Sevco it will be from now on - deal with it! They can still be "the people", if they so desire! That'll please 'em.

Ticketus gave rangers £22m.
£18m went to paying off Lloyds their outstanding debt.
The debt with interest ended up at £26.5m. Green has just raised £22m using the assets to value the club at £50m. Green maintains its the exact same club, so surely owes Ticketus £26.5m?

Funny how the share issue was for the same figure as the Ticketus loan against seat sales - £22m.

Agree6 Disagree3

No doubt Chico and our long term double agent Whyte sharing out the spoils as we speak lol

Green Judge

Agree5 Disagree3

My understanding at the time was that uif Rangers defaulted on the Ticketus repayments, Ticketus take ownership of assets. The assets were underwriting the loan.

Agree5 Disagree3

Absolute rubbish, there's no cash cow.
The £22m is to get the club through the first year and up to the next level. Looks like all the Celtic guys rumours of high wages months ago were right which increases the monthly operating costs significantly. There was only a couple million in coffers before share issue with a season ticket vat bill of £2m. Of the shares £22m, £4.4m or 20% vat is due, plus broker fees, printing, aim exchange fees, etc, ...... All those salaries plus 270 people employed at Ibrox and their NI and PAYE, all the bills, electricity, council charge, gas, telephones, broadband, police, medical, insurance policies, vehicles, equipment, critical stadium repairs, debts to football clubs, .......
The American business magazine and Dave king got it right...... The club needs a benevolent multi millionaire to pump millions into it, or radical downsizing and drop in operating costs.

Agree5 Disagree4

We told the ex bears the weekly rates their guff players were on months ago..... Again they lived in denial. Now they believe us when we say the goalies on £11k. Get worried bears your operating costs are huge. £22m less tax and fees buys you 6 months. And it's a one trick pony.

Agree4 Disagree2

You mean...they've actually started to pay t'bills...how novel :0)

Alright Ed and Celts, you might remember that the last time I was on here I was moaning about ticket prices, well it's got even worse, my ticket to Arsenal cost 62 pound, whereas Stoke, who play Arsenal 3 days later at the same ground, have to pay 35.50. How is that fair? I think it's an absolute disgrace.
JFT96
Smithy {Ed007's Note - Hi Smithy mate, that is absolutely shocking! I would refuse to pay that. I know there are CFC fans complaining about having to pay £49 to watch the Juventus game, and that is CL football.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

The difference in price of those tickets is a disgrace. Sadly we live in a world where ripping off ordinary decent people has become acceptable. It's time fans everywhere fought back against this rampant capitalist approach to the working classes...........green jhedi

Agree4 Disagree1

Alright Ed, horrendous isn't it? I know quite a few lads that are refusing to pay it. I phrased it terribly, I haven't bought my ticket yet, they don't go on sale until Wednesday, I meant to say will cost me, if I choose to pay it. I hate missing away games, as the more you miss, the less chance you have of going to other games, so I will most probably buy a ticket, but I'm not happy about it. The average, normal fans are being priced out of going the game, which needs adressing, it's not on.
JFT96
Smithy

Agree1 Disagree1

Smithy that is a jaw dropping price the game is moving further away from the average working man in the epl.To coin a new phrase very apt to the robbery of that price Against Modern Football
Gally

Agree1 Disagree1

Smithy you have my utmost sympathy. GJ unfortunately like most things, capitalism has infected and corrupted fitba. The alter of mammon is filled with eager worshippers. I worship the beautiful game but it is now played by spoilt millionaires with an industry of parasites feeding from them. Working class! That's a joke. Ordinary fans are puppets to be manipulated by the footballing money men. We are a necessary evil as far as they are concerned. Luckily CFC still has a soul otherwise I would have packed up long ago, but I fear we are in the minority and I fear for the future of football and even my great club when I hear stories like this. Sopotcelt.

Agree1 Disagree1

Maybe they owe Ticketus 4 years tickets money?

Agree1 Disagree0

@Sopotcelt; Sadly i have to agree with you mate. There seems to be so much wrong with the game, with cash at the root of it, that i do fear for it's future. On the use of the word parasite, correctly, my main objection is agents. How on earth did clubs ever let these bottom feeders climb to the position they now hold? If some dimwitted player wants an agent he should pay the fee.Typical Britain though, a country with so many grasping fingers into every pie, where it is a badge of honour to earn money from someone else doing the work. Time a club took a stand and i would be proud if it was us.We may miss out on a few players but having our dignity means more to me i am afraid. ........green jhedi

Agree GJ, British greed culture disgusts me, The EPL epitomises all that is wrong in world football, copious amounts of cash being thrown at clubs by Sly for a product thats been hyped to try and make people believe they are watching Europes top league. With all the cash thrown at EPL clubs they still can't balance the books, and still manage to run up debt i would imagine must be near a billion pound. Steven Fletcher of Sunderland is believed to be on £70,000 a week!! a guy with mediocre footballing ability. Says it all really, the bubbles got to burst and how i'll laugh......Stevie

Agree0 Disagree1

There needs to be a complete reset in the economics of the game. Players salaries need to drastically drop and TV money needs to increase.

Agree1 Disagree1

Maybe i'm getting confused, but are you not still at school Smithy? If so, how can you afford those prices?I work for Celtic and even i'm struggling to afford the CL game against Juve.

Jungle Bhoy.

Smithy, i read somewhere that when arsenal play chelski the cheapest ticket is £62 .. shammy

Ed, heard anything about Nakamura training with Celtic - noticed Darren O'Dea talking about him on twitter earlier?

I know he's out of contract, bit old, but would be a nice swansong having him back

Just seen a headline saying Alexander refuses a contract extension of, wait for it, £10k p/w! Now i dont believe a thing the tabloids print but if you take a chance and work those numbers i would be shocked if i followed The rangers. According to most reports mcculloch is on £12k, shiels and black £7k and wallace and templetim £8k. Added to this is the "coaching staff" wages, mccoist allegedly on £1m alone, and Chuckie and his sidekicks on around £7k p/w plus expenses( are The rangers fans happy to be paying Chuckies rent, council tax and utilities?)This is a huge wage bill for the level they are at.Factor in the rest of the staff wages, playing and admin, and the inevitable running costs and the figure must be enormous. While the fans, and fair play to them, are filling piebrox every game it is at a considerably smaller income than the old club had. It starts to baecome clear why chuckie pushed this share issue through, and it aint because he promised the fans. The accounts, when published, will be very interesting................green jhedi

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Players know Green has £10m budget for McCoist. They also know sevco club cannot replace those who walk. Very weak position. Green's wage structure about to get shattered. Nobody plays for the jersey.
McCulloch 34yo and contracted until 37yo. Nobody would give him that elsewhere. Only reason he's there.
Let the games begin. Rankers can nae buy but players can walk or their agents demand more.

Agree5 Disagree0

Still hope he wants to compare the books at the end of the year to show him how a true club is runned.

Agree2 Disagree0

They will no doubt fiddle&cook the books when its time to produce there first year accounts...On the figures you have gave regarding players& manager per week, running costs, police, amulance, stewards, staff etc ohh& JABA, (cant wait too hear his drivel& his spin on the rangers are DEAD story he stated)..I can see another admin on the cards eventually, as theres no cash, hence the urgency for the share issue by greene, this will be for running costs.plenty more comedy gold on the horizon, a few weeks& lord nimmo smith will give his verdict& then a few years of BDO&when will anyone be told who holds the deeds to ibrox?who yous think bhoys?stevo

Agree3 Disagree1

Their fans and supporters deserve some truth. They deserve to know. Why is such a basic thing such a huge protected dark secret? It's the only club in Europe nobody knows who owns the assets. Are they on leaseback?
The sad issue is that Ally McCoist is completely onboard and part of the deception on fans.
Green says ST money untouched.
Green says its same club.
Green says £10m for transfers.
Green says 19 targets.
Green says 5 targets from euros.
Green says buy ST and vote on renaming MP.
Green days don't go to Dundee Utd.
Green says never to joining SPL.

I mentioned in here a few weeks ago that a 12-12-18 would see sevco newco in bottom tier next year. I then stated it again yesterday/ day before. Now K Jackson in the rag just picking up on idea with pro rangers bluenose extraordinaire Longmuir.
These boys really are slow. One day they'll cotton on to EBT title stripping and its a new club with zero history. Failed CVA= old club dead.
You can tell pro rangers guys they're all slow thinkers like zombies.

Helder Barbosa looks like a real possibility. Out of contract in the summer so £500k may be enough to sign him. A pre-contract agreement may be another option as he cannot play against Juve anyway

so Kenny Miller wants to go back to ibrox again - how come he's not wanting to go back to parkhead Instead?
mtan

Believable1 Unbelievable0

He wouldn't get a game, he's rank rotten. Miller was a sham at Paradise, found his level at lower league teams in england and at ibrokes!

Agree2 Disagree3

Because he wouldn't get a sniff of the first team.
DB77

Agree3 Disagree0

He was rank rotten then, never mind now he has lost a half a yard of pace and the goals have dried up. Can't even do the business in the MLS. Says it all really. Your obviously having a bubble suggesting we would want him, or that he would want us, or that he would be good enough anyway.

Agree1 Disagree0

@1 what do you mean he found his level at ibrox?? when miller played for Rangers they were in the spl which means his level was the spl... the same league he played in for celtic.

i think we should all take a minute and sit n quiet reflection for the new world record attempt that died at the weekend. rangers international can no longer surpass the 98 points record for the 3rd division held by the mighty gretna 2004/05. the other record in their sights, the fastest ever title win { morton 1964} now looks unlikely to be beaten . and this is a team who have players on £7000 per week against part time guys on £50 + expenses . this is especially sad news when you consider how obsessed they are with new world records . now don't laugh bhoys and ghirls.. shammy

Just thinking that if I was a significant private investor in sevco international plc or fund manager controlling significant shares, I'd be rather miffed at inevitable price drop from poor performance. McCoists recent 1-1 with the bottom team in Scotland would have me speed dialling the CEO looking for answers or an example.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Yup, 34 of the last 36points that is a shocking stat to say the least

Agree0 Disagree2

11 points dropped and knocked out of the Ramsdens CUp at Ibrox is shocking. U would think cloggers McCulloch and Black would be able to beat a host of part timers every week

Samson

Agree6 Disagree1

The shocking stat is nine red cards against opposing teams to get them down to 10 men plus all the penalties to Zombie FC.
That is the disgraceful shame that is Scottish football.

Agree4 Disagree1

Nine red cards is a 27 point giveaway to Rangers. Then there's the penalties. Corruption.

Agree3 Disagree0

Why would investors be concerned? The club were out the ramsden cup before the share issue. The club are 17points clear and heading towards the third tier of Scottish football as planned
