Evening ed,

Just on to say I hope your wee niece is back on her feet soon, I have a little nephew and everytime he has a wee sniffle I worry.

Can only imagine what you are like, and her parents, pass on my wishes to her parents and remember the big man upstairs always looks after the good ones mate.

She will be in my prayers tonight.

God bless

Samaras left. Forrest right. Wanyamma and brown center, stokes hooper up front. Same defence. Markiebhoy

Personally I would have Ledley instead of Samaras but I think Stokesy will be the fall guy, saying that he could play Ledley at left back and put Mulgrew back in the middle wer I prefer to see him and drop Wilson......DH

Oh well you had to win the league at some point not a coincidence (spelling?) its when we are on our knees. Lets face it you weren't going to win it any other way. The hook has been tossed.

MMcNeill

Believable1 Unbelievable5

I don't mind taking your hook....why were we not going to win it any other way, please explain your comment ? Here's your hook back - Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree0

You weren't good enough simple. Our title winning squads have been ripped apart season after season Jelavic this season has just been 1 key player too many.

MMcNeill

Agree0 Disagree5

MMcNeill: dont you mean the crook now looks lost? as indeed your sad, cheating club do. mind the gap tho!...........green jhedi

Agree4 Disagree0

Your 'title winning squads' ? Then you won't mind explaining to me why rangers 'are on our knees' then ? Mrs E

Agree2 Disagree0

Jelavic and what other key players?artybhoy

Agree3 Disagree0

MMcneil: You really r talking sh,,e Celtic have had Brown ,Kayal ,Izzy ,Ledley out for long periods but NL has bought well in the transfer market when The Anticoist didn't . You also had jelavic playin when the 15 point turnaround came about ........DH

Agree2 Disagree0

Wow look at all the biters haha

MMcNeill

Agree0 Disagree1

" Wow look at all the biters haha"

Aye , luckily for you , the dont have teeth like Hector ;-)

jimi88

Agree2 Disagree0

'wow look at all the biters haha' - is that your answer to my question, is that it ? I take then you have no idea why your club is on its knees or don't want to say through mortal embarrassment. Mrs E

Agree2 Disagree0

We all know why my club is on its knees Mrs E poor management of the finances. Keep biting I'm loving it.

MMcNeill

Agree0 Disagree2

This 'poor management of the finances'...I don't understand and only really get opinions of other Celtic fans (which might be a tad biased) so can you explain it further to me ? Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree0

Your on here enough Mrs E surely you must have been reading what the finance experts Timalloy and Green Jed Head have said. I'm running out of hooks here people.

MMcNeill

Agree0 Disagree0

I did say I only get the opinions of Celtic fans & that they are a likely to be a tad baised. I've asked you to explain it to me ?? Its not my fault your running out of hooks without fully explaining your comments. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if your running out of hooks am sure your running out of batter.....

Your club is cheating the government & the queen yet you all sing god save the queen yet you don't pay your taxes ?

No a bite pal just a reply :)

Lenny

Mind that gap ?

In whyte Celtic trust

Agree1 Disagree0

Mrs E this guy is another bear who fails to know the concept of banter. MMcneil if a question is asked, answer it, don't just re repeat the same thing over and over again that is not a hook pal
Anyway as you have so kindly called me a financial expert, did you know that under a law (passed in 1949 in germany)
the 7th child in a family is entitled to a special "godfather" the German President, also the family get 500euros, I heard Whyte has tried to adopt 7 German children LOL Timalloy
Go forth and multiply MMcneil

Agree1 Disagree0

MMcneill@ im no finance expert just been educated and can do simple maths, unlike some of your...."brothers" is it?..green jhedi

Agree1 Disagree0

Keep it coming is that all you got?? Mrs E the reason we are on our knees is because we spent more than we could afford basically and are now being pursued for a tax bill worth potentially 49m add that to the 24 borrowed from Ticketus. Is that good enough for you? But hey take nothing away from Celtic you deserve top spot over the last 3 months you have been the better team by far.

MMcNeill

Agree1 Disagree0

MMcneil you must be nervous as a Rangers fan with all the people on here, after all your lot are used to empty spaces (usually between your ears) LOL Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree0

Why did you have to borrow £24million (I assume) from Ticketus and where is this tax bill coming from, not 'payments' to players in your squad would it be ? Surely all this was not to try and beat records previously set by another Scottish team eg. 9 league wins in a row (you would need 10), 1st British & only Scottish team to win the European Cup (suppose you would have to win twice to beat that one)... I mean this was all such a long, long time ago. You wouldn't think an institution like rangers would bring the club to its knees trying to do something like that when it was acheived soooo long ago. Most rangers fans think it was that long ago, it shouldn't even be mentioned. Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree0

07 Feb 2012 14:46:17
Just out of interest, what does everyone think will happen if rangers do get canned and can no longer exist in the SPL? your all doomed! scottish football only survives because of Celtic and Rangers.. take one away and what you left with?

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Another swallower of myths! why would a well run club like celtic need rankers? they wont vanish,at worst it would be relegation with back to back promotions.the SPL should be positive about this scenario.already this season proper managers like shiels and danny lennon have proved that playing football is a much more productive way ahead than humping it up to a lone striker and hoping to sneak a goal from a corner or free kick.maybie without rankers you would see a more positive reaction from the others.it would be two years for lower teams to have a go at getting up to the SPL.need them? not a chance rankers want everybody to believe this rubbish...green jhedi

Agree5 Disagree1

I couldn't care less about them. If they go out of business so be it! Scottish football won't die! Third Lanark died and nothing happened, Airdrie went under as did Gretna.

Who gives a toss about rankers, Murray tried to buy ten in a row and the European Cup and failed. F*ck them!

Whats that coming over the hill is it the Taxman!

DazzaBhoy {Ed007's Note - Elegantly put as ever Dazza ;-)

Agree6 Disagree0

Scottish football flourished in the pre-souness (pre-cheating) era....look at dundee utd, aberdeen, motherwell, etc....all capable of winning the league and also getting to european finals.

crowds were up (apart from ibrox), the national team had an abundance of talent to pick from, yet we had the equivelant of £50 tv money!

the only people saying scottish football will suffer are the rangers fans and sympathisers within the media.....everyone else knows it will grow, and society will be a lot better off as a whole

taco

Agree10 Disagree0

Lol..Dazza, I remember the whoo ha with Airdrie. A guy in my work was devastated and would hang about at lunchtime outside the offices of KPMG I think it was. Was it not Clydebank going under that 'saved' them ?

I will not bother me in the slightest if rangers are no more, I really wish they would stop going on about that. Mrs E

Agree2 Disagree0

"what does everyone think will happen if rangers do get canned and can no longer exist in the SPL"

Ed i was talking with my mate last night and he has had season ticket for nearly 20 years and is not renewing his season book next season his reasons are this

if Mr whyte takes in the money for next season book and then the club folds season books become invalid and he wont get his money back.his words not mine .
he said it would be the same as booking a holiday with a firm that go bust and you lose the holiday and the cash.

i said that would be the case if liquidation but im not sure that would be the case with admin

Bhaldrick {Ed007's Note - Clubs in administration can still play matches. Liquidation is different, there is no club to field a team.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Exactly mate though you put it across better than i did .
here's another one to think about Ed.
when Marseille got done back in the 90's UEFA didnt strip them of the Champions League title however the French Federation did remove the previous years national title from them and awarded the title to that seasons second place team. do you honestly think the SFA would do the same if Rangers are found guilty of cheating by the use of EBT ?

Bhaldrick {Ed007's Note - No chance. Never mind Marseille, look at the Italian scandal involving Juventus. Look at this, the rugby team broke the wage cap (illegal payments).

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This will be the whittaker that rankers fans are raging about being given a big contract? and the laughatme that wont sign a new contract?and the jelavic that you were saying you didnt need after your "stunning" wins against murderwell and hibs?and the naismith who got injured stabbing his studs into a players ankle? real quality bunch! green jhedi

Morning ed. Big shout out to our brigade from our webpage green hedi, Taco and Timmy along with myself who are letting Superfatally deserters plenty of stick. I was told I wasn't welcome over on their BANTER page. These people are really deluded. Mission bluenose strike is calling me again over and out Captain 007. Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - Take no notice of any posts telling people to leave sites, they shouldn't be posted anyway. All fans are welcome on all sites as long as the posts meet the site guidelines. If anyone has a problem with opposition fans visiting their pages they don't need to come on here. People who come out with stuff like that obviously don't understand it is a banter forum, either that or you guys must be getting right under their skin. The Eds on there are sick fed up deleting foul and abusive posts towards CFC fans, they add nothing to the site and have no chance of being posted so they are just wasting theirs and our time and will probably be banned.}

Craig Whyte interview seems rather strange. After each question I have put my thoughts from reading between the lines.

People want to know where the ticket money has gone...

A: Well, OK, I won’t do it line by line but I’ll give you some examples. There’s a £10m funding hole that needs to be filled. I’ve said that before. I have nothing to apologise for. This is the reality of the club. There was several million that had to be repaid from an old ticket arrangement from the previous board. There were things like transfer payments. We still owed £1m to Rapid Vienna from when we bought Nikica Jelavic. We owed £1m on the James Beattie signing. Believe me, every single penny of the Ticketus money has stayed in the club. What I want to get across is that the fans’ money is safe, it’s underwritten by one of my companies and everything I do is in the best long-term interests of the club.

Underwritten by another company? Why is he doing this dragging his alledged companies into a blackhole dont believe him for 1 min.

Q: Mortgaging season tickets is a high-risk strategy, though. Clubs do it, but on this scale? What if season tickets sales plummet? Do you fear a season ticket boycott?

A: No, why would there be?

Because the team is gash and no players are being bought when players are being released/sold

Q: It would be understandable if Rangers fans were spooked. This is the allegation, that you used the Ticketus money to fund your takeover of the club...

A: No, from the messages I’ve had I don’t think people believe that. The occasional person, maybe. I know Ally said on Friday that this is the time to rally round the club. This is going to be a tough few weeks and we need everybody with us and on the whole that’s what people are doing. The allegation is wrong. Anybody with half a brain would figure that one out. The sale of the club went through prior to the arrangement for the tickets. It’s absurd. Do you think Lloyds and Sir David Murray would have given me the time of day if I hadn’t proved I had the money?

17,000 crowd on Saturday would say otherwise.

Q: You say you lodged £28m in a bank account as proof of funds during the negotiating process?

A: I think it was closer to £33m actually.

I think if i lodged money into another account I would know how much it was.

Q: Your own money from your own personal wealth?

A: Yes, that was done as far back as November 2010.

Q: Can you prove it?

A: I can, yes.

Q: Can you e-mail me the documents and kill some conspiracies?

A: I see what you’re getting at and there might be some benefit in doing that. Let me think about it. I’ll give it some consideration.

Answer to all 3 questions let me fudge my accounts and I will send you a fake document.

Q: I’ll try again. What’s the plan?

A: I couldn’t go into it. If I publicised it then it would potentially jeopardise what we’re working on. But, remember, I bought the club with this thing hanging over it. I’ve been thinking about it since day one. The long-term interests of the club is what I think about every day.

Working towards ADMIN cant tell you because the taxman will find out and rip us a new 1.

Q: There is also talk, on top of everything else, of £5m owed in VAT. Are you sitting on a Mount Everest of debt?

A: There’s a lot of media hostility towards myself and Rangers. It irks me sometimes. The VAT thing is rubbish. I have regular dialogue with HMRC about a number of issues, in particular the Employment Benefit Trust case. All sorts of things. I talk to them often, I know exactly what they’re doing and what they’re thinking and there’s no issue on that front.

Surely that is breaking the law as it has gone to court. I am sure that HMRC are saying this and that about a current court case NOT.

So what i can see is just more Shyte from Whyte he is as bent as Loui Spence.

Ian

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I've been saying for months that rapid were still due money for jellyp'sh, yet they kept insisting no payment was due on anyone, stop making up lies, etc etc....and here we have probably the only bit of truth that shyte has come out with.....we owe rapid money for jelly lol!! oh, and 1m for beattie...that's gotta hurt:P
