Just watched the Sweden game and as much as I'm always going to have a soft spot for them, they are not a good team to watch, put me in mind of deilas team.

I couldn't find it on Sky - how was Lustig? Is he still standing?

06 Sep 2016 23:14:55
It was on itv4 mate he played the full 90 minutes.

07 Sep 2016 08:53:53
He looked a bit laboured at the end I thought.

Agree0 Disagree3

07 Sep 2016 09:06:11
Lustig had a pretty solid game from what I seen. Everything the Dutch threw at him in first 20 mins he dealt with well, so much so that most of the dutch attacks after that were directed towardds Swedish left back. He also tried to get foward where possible, but as Augustas mentioned Sweden were set up to defend and hit on counter.

Not surprised to read Lustig looked a bit laboured towards the end . Give a dog a bad name, Lustig must play near the most minutes of any of our players.

Why the concerns about the ref. The gap should be that great we shouldn't care if Mark Hateley was the ref.

06 Sep 2016 19:31:59
TTTS there is always a danger when the enemy get to make the laws of the land. Did you not see the penalty given against Kieran Tierney? Or the TWICE that Thomson didn't book Forrster for 2 arguably straight red cards before nodding to Warburton with a look that said 'C'moan, ma pal Mark, sub him, a cannae no send him aff 3 times if he diz it again!

Agree8 Disagree2

06 Sep 2016 19:33:08
Agreed TTTS but if it is still 0-0 and they get a dodgy pen or two it will turn the tide in the game.

Spot on johnboy! . aslong as the score remains 0-0 be it the first 5 minutes or the last 5 as soon as a zombie takes a tumble in our box no matter how blatant a dive it is, it is a straight red for us and penalty to them with as many retakes as needed to score. what we need to do is make sure these honest mistakes will have no outcome on our victory by punishing this tribute with goal after goal. no mercy. all out attack. speed kills.3-0 after 20 minutes! . HH Here we go.10 in a row.

Agree5 Disagree2

06 Sep 2016 21:11:10
If the score remains 0-0 by 1/ 2 time we have made no progress. 2-0 at half time with their back line has to be realistic .

if you want to talk about players diving what about big dembele we know he loves a dive like at Tynecastle eh lads.

Agree0 Disagree6

07 Sep 2016 09:18:15
TBH bhoys I disagree as I generally don't think Wullie Collum is biased. He is just a piss poor referee. Has shown in many many games with his high red card and penalty count that he just ain't the good enough and tends to ruin a lot of games invovling several teams.

Agree3 Disagree1

07 Sep 2016 10:23:18
Cee did you see garner at rugby park and dembele at Tyne castle nah.

Agree1 Disagree1

07 Sep 2016 13:33:38
Collum has been getting a roasting lately for his handling of games. At least it isn't card happy honest mistake Thomson but can guarantee there will be a few dodgy penalty decisions with Collum.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Sep 2016 17:00:24
I fine that I can hardly be bothered mentioning the biasness of the SPFL referees . It seems that all the experience referees have attained the required standards and the inexperience refs are learning fast.

Celtic 5 The Forces of Darkness and Evil 1. Can't see us not losing a goal but think we're twice as good plus a bit since we played them in the cup under Ronald.

Is it just me or does anyone else on this site not rate James Morrison? He is talking up a move in January, I really hope this doesn't materialise.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

06 Sep 2016 12:16:36
Totally agree mate! Moving for Morrison on the last day smacked of desperation! Not better than what we've got in my opinion and has never impressed me when I've watched him! No thanks for me!

Yer right wiss total dick of a ref no friend of celtic that man.

06 Sep 2016 12:57:59
Snodgrass would have been a better shout in the last window, but he will be not be available or affordable in January, I reckon.

Agree5 Disagree3

06 Sep 2016 13:40:03
Snodgrass is on a Bosman in Jan. Me and a few mates have been talking about this for a while, it will definitely be the best chance to get him at a good age. Even if we gave him a signing on fee, he's on a decent wage at Hull, we all know though that he's a big Celtic man and would like to play for the club one day, it's just a matter of whether he feels he owes Hull a bit of loyalty after missing more than a year after getting that bad injury on his debut. Also if he keeps playing well other clubs might give him a crazy offer. It's now or never though -he's 28/ 29 and in his prime. I don't want to be getting him in 4 years after he's signed a contract elsewhere. I agree about Morrison, no more than decent and incredibly on around 70k per week. Bannan was brilliant the other night, he's never a winger and suits that deep playmaker role in the middle, he's another we could have got for buttons a year ago. It's all about timing.

Agree3 Disagree2

06 Sep 2016 18:10:00
ed007 had said that it was Morrison's agent contacting us so chances are he won't be coming anyway (hopefully) .

Wouldn't want either to be honest, neither is better than what we have already, rogic, Roberts, Sinclair Forrest r all better than them. Thankfully neither rumour seems 2 have any substance.
Hail hail.

Snodgrass definitely a Celtic man he went to St Mungo's RC High School on the Gallowgate.

Agree3 Disagree1

07 Sep 2016 13:39:32
Cheers Big D. Don't get why everyone can disagree what I said what has he done in the BPL or Scotland? Too lightweight and Not enough goals or assists in him to be at a team like West Brom hence why he's dropped let alone a team like Celtic.

Much rather Rogic in the team he's a far better player! Agree with Snodgrass great player has goals in him and can play a few positions too didn't know he was a Bosman in Jan fingers crossed with that one.

07 Sep 2016 17:02:52
If Brendan Rodgers rates Morrison I am sure Morrison is likely to sign for us in January.

Hearing collum is the ref for the sevco game! Do the half wits at the SPL sit down and think. i wonder how we can make this game even more tension filled! I know let's award that wee baw bag Collum it for a laugh! The guy is an absolute liability of a referee! Let's hope he's got his hair cut so the eyes in the back of his heid can see some phantom penalties!

Believable8 Unbelievable3

06 Sep 2016 13:01:39
There was a list they could choose from that would have made more 'honest mistakes' than most and Thomson, Collum and McLean were top.

06 Sep 2016 13:10:21
Funny asking him to manage broony and barton considering the guy couldn't manage his dinner!

Having said that by the time he needs to make a decision we will be 2 - 0 up.

HH.

06 Sep 2016 13:31:05
His kind are worse than your Madden's Thomson's Beaton's McLean's etc he's a soup taker from our own community he's the Judas Johnston of referee's.

06 Sep 2016 13:43:40
Game kicks off, 37 seconds into the game Willie Gollum produces a yellow card for Brown, as Barton trips over his own feet. 6 minutes later, Barton trips Brown whilst challenging, Gollum produces second yellow to Brown for diving. When he is in charge anything is possible.

I smell fear. surely the mighty Tic won't lose their first league game against that 'new club' due to poor refereeing decisions? Or is that just a cover excuse just in case? 😉.

Agree0 Disagree15

06 Sep 2016 16:00:33
Fear! Haha! Think the only thing I can smell from that post is Shoite! We will wipe the floor with the tribute act no Matter what so called ref is in charge! Just makes me laugh that they pick collum out the pile of Shoite they've got to choose from! I for one can not wait to take my seat in paradise to watch Scotland's 5 in a row champs show up this Mickey Mouse mob for what they truly are! HH.

06 Sep 2016 16:47:28
Big Arse you must have missed us going to Hearts and St Johnstone away and doing the business then blowing away our nearest challengers Aberdeen 4-1 while you struggled with the mighty HAMILTON and DUNDEE so i don't see a newly formed 4 year old team just promoted from the lower leagues giving us any trouble.

Agree13 Disagree3

06 Sep 2016 19:35:28
Huge arse we will beat u but as usual we'll have to beat column and his 2 linesmen that's a cert.

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Sep 2016 18:27:25
Jamesbhoy, I'm not doubting Celtic's credentials or chances of winning on Saturday but would question why some fans feel the need to point to the ref before a ball is kicked. For what it's worth I believe Collum is useless and an accident waiting to happen but that's just because he's a poor referee in general and liable to make mistakes that upset any club. Apart from that, here's hoping it's a good game and all fans get home safe afterwards, no matter the result.

Agree2 Disagree3

06 Sep 2016 20:14:02
It's quite simple we have had anti-Celtic blatant refereeing since our inception, due to bigotry nothing more nothing less.

Agree7 Disagree2

07 Sep 2016 07:40:20
hahahahahahq bigotry? collum is a celtic fan! he made a mistake big deal. even if there was a conspiracy like you phsycos claim could you blame them after what your fans done to poor Hugh.

if there's a conspiracy how could your club win so many league titles and cups.

Agree0 Disagree3

07 Sep 2016 13:36:08
Celtic fan my arse he may be a Catholic but would a Celtic fan award a penalty to sevco for an incident he wasnt even looking at? COLLUM DID.

Agree1 Disagree0

07 Sep 2016 13:48:49
Poor Hugh 😂 The 'bentest' referee in Scottish football history. Didn't he give a penalty straight after being coined for nothing? Not just a mistake Collum has made every club is roasting him calling him a liability.

Just out of all the games to balls up he's given the first ever league meeting between Celtic vs Sevco. What a way to advertise your "brand" to the footballing world.

Wow Cew, where you been hiding over the last few years? That must be some sized rock you crawl out from under every day to spout your garbage!
I think the last few years have showed that the Celtic supporters were correct about every bit of paranoia they have fealt! Your new club has been given favor after favor to help them along their very short history and some of these couldn't have been even more obvious! Remember the SPL referees having to help you out of the bottom 2 divisions? LMFAO
Let's not even start on the years of cheating and assistance from your friends in the SFA and the blatant favouritism in the Scottish media!
And if you don't admit to seeing any of that then you are a fecking liar! So just do one and get back to the lies on your pathetic forums where the truth will always be hidden and unable to be questioned!

I am delighted I cancelled SLY this year as they are an utter joke of a 'Sports News' channel. If they are not having a contest to see how many times they can say 'England' in an hour, they are flying the Sevco flag at every opportunity and are very anti-Celtic.
