Scott Brown been outstanding tonight. Here's hoping he has another 6 like this in the group stages!

Good performances from a lot of scots. Mulgrew and Brown were stand outs, not sure about Griffiths over Rhodes. Belgium lived up to their reputation but have a lot to do to get to the top level. strachan seems to have injected some purpose into the squad and i'm looking forward to watching them again. From a celtic point of view, our players gained a lot of experience and no injuries. Young Forrest has had this, england at Wembley, and the cl qual games already this season and seems to be getting something from it all. Enjoyed the game.

Thought that was Scott Brown's best performance since he was at Hibs the ones I've seen in the flesh anyway .If he produces that level of performance in CL, then a few people may be in for a surprise . How Charlie Mulgrew got MOM is beyond me .

I think Broony has been below par for us for a few weeks but playing for Scotland against England and Belgium he seems to have been outstanding.
Hope he's back to his best for the Swine-castle game.

IT'S NOT THE SAME CLUB.
IT'S NOT THE SAME HISTORY.
THAT'S JUST IMPOSSIBLE.

Roll on full liquidation (post the EBT final result) and SFA and Uefa clarification statements its all a newco brand new club reformed 2012.

When EBTs are officially and finally declared illegal, and the bill finally added to old RFC debts, the five titles will get stripped from old rfc record. LNS report and SFA registration procedures will have nothing to do with it.

EBTs will have been a criminal offence. Ergo all players criminal recipients and wrongfully on the field against legitimate players.

Build a bridge and get over it, we have group stages to look forward to and your posting about this sh1t!

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely. Forget the 2012 stuff, that will sonn be history as well when sevco 2014 emerge and claim everybody hates us. Roll on the real football. Hail, Hail

Dundee United have banned all staff from co-operating with STV or tv as manager Jackie McNamara kicked up a fuss over what he believes is trial be television.

Gavin Gunning wasn't booked for his tackle on Celtic's Virgil van Dijk last week, but he was later handed a three-match ban.

McNamara wants to know who is responsible for making the decisions in football - The SFA, or the TV media. (Various)

Cannae help thinking oor Jackie is in cahoots wae NL and PL on this. Sellick have been shouting over this issue for five years, now Jackie is cleverly doing the same, making PL a neutral at the SFA for change rather than the pro sellick guy. Clever.
Big clubs, televised every game, are at a disadvantage if TV evidence is used to determine guilt. Simples. Smaller clubs don't get every game televised hence unbalanced justice.

Utd and McNamara shown in poor light over this.
Spitting the dummy and blaming tv for picking out gunning.
bigger club should have come out and chastised player for his playground petulance, far from professionalism, that will likely cost lost points. Then played the card about others etc etc
Bottom line is, he took a swing at our CH, the fans behind goal did make a noise over it ( I was there). The real question is why the linesman who was directly looking at it failed to flag (paranoia) Stevo Dundee

Fair play to jackie is. The thing I love about Lennon is he sticks up for Celtic no matter what. Jackie is just doing the same for his club.

Canny wait for these daft Internationals to pass and I can get a look at our new signings getting a chance to settle in and get our strongest team on the park.
We have done not too bad in the league but seem to need a late goal or three to get points on the board.
We may (or may not) have the 25/30 goal Hooper replacement but Stokes has looked really good and he seems to be really playing for his place.
Although it's always great to score a few and keep the winning habit, but the recent late winners have seen a return in the fighting spirit we were famous for and hopefully we have plenty goal scoring options in the squad needed to influence or change a game.
Last season we got the CL 'hangover' tag and lost a few points in between Euro games and it happened again against Inverness, so I would hope we get the balance of rotation spot-on this time around.
One thing I would love to see is more young players featuring in the League Cup games and giving them a run at tournament football although ticket prices would have to be realistically set and I don't know if the club would sanction this?

Now that McColl and Green have made up there's no need for him

Take a good look at what's happened here. Murray walks away with 6m ebt. A 20m bank debt is handed over to well known liquidator whyte. He dumps that onto the mysterious ticketus, doesn't pay taxes and lots of money vanishes, liquidates the business, apparently putting himself in hock to tktus (laugh very loudly out loud). New business starts up with green, with whyte links, buying assets, or so it seems for peanuts. Green takes the mega pi55 and walks off with millions, leaving a board which appears almost out of thin air. A big row starts, stops again and the old faces start to reappear having invested fa. Apart from a couple of new faces. Losers are all the creditors, charities and fans, and don't forget Her Majestys revenue and customs who get royally screwed. Let's have a big hypocritical chorus of god save the queen, lol.

@1) yeah George is clearly a McC camp 'grass roots' employee (who nobody cares about) who gets controlled/ briefed by the hapless Jabba (who pays for the fliers Jabba?).

The current board do not need to negotiate with McC. And I believe they are not. McC is being led down the garden path. The current board have the strength and can run out time and fob them off right up to November administration. That's what's happening and McC will need to pay £15m CVA to avoid liquidation and buy it out.
