One great statement during commentary today was regarding Broon that they've never seen a player that enjoyed getting kicked as much! How he's matured he just takes it and knows that taking the three points and lifting the trophies is where you get your revenge. Naismiths tackle was a shocker though and a straight red for me.

06 May 2018 20:48:52
Naismith was particularly nasty today and a few of our players were lucky not to be badly injured by the wee fud.

I think Brendan Rodgers let us down by not commenting on treatment of Broon it’s happening every week with KT also a target. It’s certainly a bigger problem than the length of grass. The nearer we get to 10 the harder the kickings Broon will take and Brendan should publicly comment now.

06 May 2018 21:40:19
I think BR knows that the world and his wife knows SB and KT are blatant targets, he’s playing the media brilliantly in not getting emotional involved with their bait. It’s up to the football authority’s to embarrass themselves once again.

Agree2 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - I don't think Brown would like Rodgers to mention it tbh, he thrives on the physical side of the game and would maybe see that as a sign of weakness. The way he's learned to not react is another example of his maturity and class.}

06 May 2018 21:45:14
Jfp he did comment on it.
He said: "You only need to see it. The ball was gone and the follow through is there to see. "

"The ball was well gone and it wasn't just late, it was very late. It will be just interesting to see what the authorities make of that. "

Definite foul on broony by the rat on the lead up to there goal as well.

KT absent and decides to watch the game among the fans. I know it's not the first time he has done that but it's the sign of a true Celt to the core. The lad is a legend on and off the park and even the rough tactics by the Edinburgh Huns (especially Naismith's tackling and and that Lafferty in general) couldn't stop the CHAMPIONS! HH.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

06 May 2018 20:39:59
Are the authorities going to wait until scott brown gets seriously injured before something is done about these identical assaults on our captain. won't hold my breath on them doing anything but br must come out and identify and condemn it as a now recurring serial attack.

Agree2 Disagree0

07 May 2018 19:10:44
Was told, a fan shouted to KT at Farts game yesterday, that could be you getting booted up and down the park.
KT replied he`s been told to stop bouncing back up after a bad tackle, as it was only encouraging players to have another dig. instead stay down until ref tells him to get up.

20 minutes into watching the game I recorded earlier (nightshift last night so just up) Boyata's just equalised but I've had to watch it in silence. Thanks Mcmoist, you've totally ruined my coverage you horrible little biased w****r.
I feel your pain slug.

Rab he was terrible even after naismiths assault on broony nothing fae fat Sally but the disallowed goal he was all over.

06 May 2018 20:19:16
I turned the sound off after a few minutes as well, as between Slug and that other would-be hun Craigan - it was like a free-for-all biased bonanza of anti-Celtic garbage and they are clearly still suffering from the Sevco shame of last week.
The Gorgie huns were putting the boot in (especially on Broony) all over the place and the so-called referee was encouraging them.
They should have had at least two red cards and conceded a penalty and although they had a probable goal chalked-off, it was a very well deserved and hard fought victory against a team of frauds that only 'play' against teams in green and white.
Levein is another tosser that deserves nothing but contempt.

Who would you all keep sell and sign this summer may as well start the rumours now.

i think we need a quality keeper right back and centre half and if we can get rogic Armstrong dembele extending there contracts I'd be happy.
I'd also try to sign up Roberts and edouard but I know all of this is wishful thinking lol

Sell boyata simunovic Christie (won't get a sniff so don't hold him back) Allan sviatchenko gamboa Hayes biton and de vries.

Just my optimistic opinion.

Keep:
Gordon
Bain
Lustig
Tierney
Ajer
Hendry
Ralston
Ntcham
Rogic
Mcgregor
Forrest
Roberts
Sinclair
Hayes
Masounda
Dembele
Griffiths
Edouard

Sell:
Bitton
Simunovic
Boyata
Gamboa
Armstrong ( keep if he wants to stay sell if he wants to go)
Allan ( good riddance)
Ciftci ( good riddance)
Sviatchenko (Rodgers doesn’t rate)
Dorus

Loan:
Miller
Aitchison
Hazard

If we spent all of our budget on a centre back to partner Ajer and a fitter right back then I would be happy.

Ed, do you know if Steven caulker is still on our radar or has that ship sailed?

The more is see of Moussa, the more I think he would benefit from another season with us. If we can get him on another deal, it would be great for us and him. When VVD and Vic left us, I was convinced they would do well. Really not so in terms of big man just now. Hope we can keep him, and get Ed on board and obviously have LG too. Shame he wasn't fit for today.

Naismith was an absolute animal in that game. How he stayed out of the book let alone on the park stays beyond me.

If I was a cynic, and Craig Levein was a *****, I'd suggest it's almost as if he's set this Hearts team out to kick Scott Brown all game.

Apologies for the language Ed 😂.

Kev Craig Levein did indeed send Hearts out to put the boot in with special attention for Scott Brown.

Agree1 Disagree1

06 May 2018 18:45:18
I don't think Craig Levein has ever gotten over 1986 and that is why he is so bitter towards us. While he is in the dugout for Hearts I think we should make special mention to it every time we play them. Green Brigade TIFO and an Albert Kidd chant should do the trick.

06 May 2018 07:17:12
Hi Ed I'm not a panty wetter or a pannicker but say if rangers get 15 million to spend do you think we will flex our muscles and show we have intent that we cannot be stopped? I'm asking because I was in primary 7 at school and got to the final of the walkers cup and played on Ibrox at half time and had to watch them win 8 in a row hated it the minute they found out we were called st flannans you should have heard the boos.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - Didn't they say they spent £10 million last summer? Another five isn't going to make much difference. They could spend £20 million and we could spend hee-haw and they'll still be fighting Aberdeen, Hibs and Killie for 2nd.
Obviously that's not going to happen so don't worry, we'll spend money.}

06 May 2018 10:44:35
No one seems to mention the 15 or so dross players they currently have, are sevco expected to just pay this lot to sit in the stand. They will have a hard job getting decent cash for any of them.

Agree0 Disagree1

06 May 2018 10:51:02
It actually turned out they spent 4 million on transfers last season, it was just the media talking pish, no doubt instructed by Jim Traynor.

By the way the only money they will be spending is whatever money their director's give them in soft loans.

I will gladly put my head on the block and tell you now that Celtic will spend more than Rangers this summer.

Agree0 Disagree1

06 May 2018 11:14:41
As already mentioned in many places Celtic just need to keep following their own plan. If they qualify for Champions League group stages again there is no way Sevco will close the financial gap. For me a quality Centre half would make me feel a lot better about the usual nervous qualifying games.

06 May 2018 11:34:57
How many times since the formation of TRIFC in 2012 have we heard empty promises, threats and bravado in defiant delusional drivel.
Their board and bigoted media have remained in denial since Newco was formed and the continued refusal to accept reality serves only to fool all of the 'peepel' all of the time, while we go from strength to strength, as they change managers as often as they add stars.

Agree0 Disagree1

07 May 2018 14:12:08
Hearing rumours of a press conference At Ibrox tomorrow. Guy that owned the whiskey bond at Dumbarton sold out to yanks for 280 million and is investing 30 million. Two others also investing heavily too. Heard this from a glimpse mate. Another 10 million and they might be able to pay there debts. Time will tell but a don t think Gerrards here without some dollars to spend. If it's true being it on.

Every day that mob have someone or other dragging a ten man tent full of £50 notes up the marble staircase.

It was supposed to be Far Eat Businessman, then it was Red Bull, now it’s s whisky tycoon, tomorrow it will be Iron Man diverting his money from arms sales to the Gers.

Just a pity Howard Hughes is dead, as I’m sure he would have been in the frame too. No doubt a couple of Arab Sheiks will be loading up a camel train with Petrodollars as I type too.

Don’t worry about their straw grasping frenzy. They all had difficulty sleeping on Sunday night in anticipation of The Lying King introducing a warchest of many many millions. You know what they say about trying to get to sleep with a hard on,

On the day that all drooped when King talked about a share issue, well aware that his fecking about and not complying with his no option to offer to buy all those shares
that is a requirement then that won’t be allowed to happen. Of course thevdeluded went into denial mode. “ we wouldn’t tell anybody what we really had” bollocks.

Denial and heads buried in golden sand the mindset of choice. I have said it before, only we can Feck us up by not putting more weight behind the boot we have on their throats.

If we tool up where we know we have to and qualify again they are fecked. Do this another 3 seasons to secure 10 and all their fantasy investments won’t go anywhere near us.

We have a very big hammer already to batter nails in their coffin, a few additional quality players and they’re buried in a coffin that will be made up of 95% nails.

I love it that King has annoyed our manager and board. We are always better when we are angry. If I was Dermot my goal would be clear. Destroy Gerrard and bring King down.
and see him grounded out. They do live a hounding out. Let’s help them.

This is my thoughts for the summer. I would sign Bain on a permanent deal, I would keep Edouard. I would aim to put ralston in the first team. Centre back needs to be a priority target. There's talk of Watford and Bournemouth looking at McGregor and we need to tie rogic down on a longer deal.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

06 May 2018 10:27:15
There's not a club on earth that McGregor would leave Celtic for nevermind that 2 nobodies. We are lucky to have him and lucky that he is a Celt through and through he's at CP for life.
