The Green Brigade are to be congratulated on their 'Anti-racism is so beautiful magical' banner today. Great to see KT bring Sinclair back over to applaud it and accept a love Celtic hate racism t-shirt. So nice one Green Brigade, nice one KT and nice one Scotty bhoy. Glasgow Celtic a Club for All. I am not a business man so not sure of the ins and outs maybe the Eds can advise.
The recent proposed allocation of tickets is a bit of a slap in the teeth for sure but.
Cup final is usually shown on tv for free anyway (for license holders)
What is to stop Celtic opening the ground and showing the game on the screens. They could bill it as a charity event or day with the Celtic Family FREE OF ENTRY CHARGE. No need to try and make any money. Club wins, fans win and we stick two fingers to SFA.

{Ed007's Note - I don't see any problems if Celtic applied to the council to do a beamback.}

06 May 2017 14:58:04
splendid idea! never mind sticking it to the SFA: be some party!

Just about to head out to game, looking forward to it, lovely sunny Glasgow day should be a good game as ST Johnstone are a decent team, I expect both teams to score but Celtic to win and over 2.5 goals.
Heard the SFA have started their dirty tricks early, giving Aberdeen MORE tickets than us, ha ha if that is the best they can think of to stop our REBEL TREBLE they can think again.

06 May 2017 12:22:47
How can they justify giving the sheep more tickets than us. allocations should be granted based on home attendance figures. always baffles me how all the wee diddy clubs bring thousands to hampden with them but can't fill their own stadiums!

Agree1 Disagree1

06 May 2017 13:32:01
Tim it would be impossible for celtic to win with both teams to score unless there's over 2.5 goals. Haha.

Hi guys, first time on here. I was reading on the Celtic website today about the Scottish Cup final and came across this statement from Celtic

"Celtic Football Club has been informed by the Scottish Football Association that it will potentially receive almost 700 tickets less than Aberdeen FC for this year's Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Stadium. "

Just wanted to know your thoughts or any reasons why this me be the case.

Cheers, HH.

Scott, I heard that the SFA had to make a bit of the ground available for 3 sheep pens! πŸ‘ Seriously I'd guess it's just how the stadium splits for segregation reasons. ☘️.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 May 2017 12:25:55
Only 3 sheep pens, jeez that won't last long πŸ˜‚ I can see what you mean to be fair but surely the SFA could split it evenly and make it like 350 less a peice and move the split section along a bit?

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2017 13:50:14
segregation is fair enough but why should the biggest supported team of the two share carry the biggest burden?

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2017 11:18:14
Seems Aberdeen will ensure getting MORE tickets than us for the final.

Hi all, I've not been to Parkhead out with a supporters bus for a long long time. I'm taking the car to the Heroes game for the kids first visit to Paradise.
My question is, where is the best place to park nowadays?
I used to dump the car half way along London Road but I was thinking the Forge?
Time wise it will be around 12pm till 4.30pm.
Thanks in advance.

I park on shettleston just along from the forge. Bit longer walk, but good for getting away at the end!

06 May 2017 10:02:50
Don't know where your from mate or how fit u r, but a would consider the train, good wee walk right enough, failing that get someone to drop u off if possible, there'll be even more cars that day than usual cos guys like maself would drive if a had the kids wae me instead of getting the train n a few pints wae the lads.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 May 2017 10:18:51
Joe you'll get parked in the forge car park away at the back end no problem. 10 miles walk to either end past all the health food vans which has to be part of the kids experience! Hope you have a great day! ☘️.

06 May 2017 10:22:04
I will be driving from Fife, train probably more trouble than its worth so i will be driving. Your right about more cars than usual so I best get there early. Was looking for a cheap hotel to stay the night before but they are all through the roof price wise. Probably because of cup final day and the heroes game.

just dump the car wherever and report it stolen. Go tae the match and then come oot. If not marked with a police aware sticker then drive hame. If marked they will probably have called your house to report it found. dead easy. BTW I AM just joking.
This was based on an American I worked with on the rigs off GT Yarmouth. He got drunk and ran his car into a roundabout in the early hours. He wandered home and got his wife to report the car stolen. He actually watched them remove his car from said roundabout from a wee pub just off it when they called to say they had located his vehicle. (This was in the 70's and there were a lot of rig hands from all over down there.
