Regarding Brendans comments on St Mirren being the best team to visit Celtic Park domestically? I agree. I can't remember a team this season who played better in that first half.

Alloa played well when we faced them in the cup, I'm sure jack ross was the manager then too.

I thought br was spot on tbh st mirren were excellent In the 1st half and were unlucky not to get a second.
Once we hit second gear tho we steamrolled them.

St Mirren were excellent and deserved praise. It also has to be put in the perspective that this was the worst 50mins I have seen under Brendan. The passing was abysmal, GMS was beyond woeful and should have been replaced 20mins in. He has missed five sitters in four games.

If Roberts doesn't start against the Pretenders then Rogers must want to keep the score down.

After the goal we stepped up but the bear miss bar rebound would have been a major test. I think we would have risen to it but it was needless.

Hopefully on Sunday a focused and fluent performance and convert our chances it will be a slaughter.

The first half on Sunday that we have to be on it from the first second.

5.0 the bhoys.

Ed any idea how many rooms will be in this new hotel celtic are considering building?

Maybe a harder question but how much per year would a hotel like this expect to make?

Cheers if you could answer even 1 of these questions lol.

{Ed007's Note - Sorry mate I haven't a clue.}

Cheers bhoys was just hoping someone was going to say 10m year or something like that lol.

{Ed007's Note - It won't just be Celtic fans using, it will also be used by people at the Emirates Arena by the likes of visiting basketball teams etc. The world badminton championship is being held there later this year so it would have been ideal for the participants, officials and fans from that to be based just across the road from where the tournament is getting played, not to mention the conferences etc that are held there too.}

Sound like a good money maker hope it happens without a drain on transfer kitty.

This hotel is probably more to do with raising the corporate image and status of club. The hotel will have to finance it own running, doubt it will put much if any cash into playing side of things. All about increasing the overall business profile which will bring in finance in other ways.

To all Celtic fans, I am starting to get a bit concerned with the "influence " Peter Lawell has in Scottish Football . How on earth did he manage to get Celtic a Bye into the Scottish Cup final. Wonders will never cease. 😉

As most on here know I like a wee gamble now and then but pick my bets carefully (some would say foolishly lol)
But my ex bear pals and bigot in a suit have bet me £200 between them that Celtic will not win Sunday's game and the semi final, don't tell Mrs T, but you better believe I took their bet.

I cannot understand where their confidence is coming from, but according to 'the suit', Murty has "transformed" the team. the 6-0 thrashing of Hamilton has him purring. they all "played like a team, and Kenny Miller always scores against Celtic" He was also going to have a bet on Garner scoring until I gently tod him he was suspended.

The ex bears are also feeling more confident because of the way we played against St Mirren and they believe Murty will adopt similar tactics to "outwit" Rodgers.
Ach the £200 will go towards a family day out lol.

Better watch he will probably fake his own death and then start appearing as some one else called, the bigot in a suit, to get out of paying it .

ha ha guys brilliant, what gets me two weeks ago they were mumping and moaning about Murty, now they are even composing songs about him after ONE result. But I will give Murty this, he seems to know more about tactics and man management than Warburton ever did, not hard really lol

What the suit also told me was that after watching us against St Mirren, he believes we are there to be beaten on Sunday. I said in all honesty, Celtic were poor for 60 minutes, the passing was poor and some players thought they just had to turn up to win, against the huns, their attitude will be different, particularly with all the gloating that mob did at Hampden.

Tim the difference is we have an off day and win 4-1, we can hardly complain about that. Rodgers sees what's not working and changes it immediately, good players win u games, good managers win u trophies.

Tim snap his hand off. I was on a bookies web site when we were 1-0 down on Sunday. Celtic price went to 1/2. Jumped right in. Where can you get 1/2 on Celtic these days?

Now on Sunday, you can get 2/1 with Celtic -1, so we would need to win by 2 goals. So it's 2-0 or 3-1 etc.

Another possible bet is draw half time Celtic win full time; 3/1. If you look at our goal times, we rarely score in the first 20 mins and the majority of our goals come from 50 mins onwards. Just follow the pattern. We will probably win by 2 or more on Sunday.

I was delighted with the win yesterday, I had a funny Feeling leading up to the game that it might be a bit tougher than it looked on paper and St Mirren were very well organised for the first hour.
I think that looking at the last few matches we are really starting to miss Rogic, although we are still dominating games we seem to be lacking a bit of craft in midfield, it looks to me that we need to have either Roberts or Forrest available as without Rogic they are our best hope for opening up packed defences.
I doubt very much that Roberts will be here next season, so as Rogic is very injury prone, I think it's something that Brendan will have to look closely at in the close season.

Been saying for weeks we are missing Rogic totally agree can't wait for the wizard of Oz to return.

My team for sunday is
Gordon
Lustig
KT
Jozo
Boyata
Brown
Armstrong
Roberts
Griffiths
Sinclair
Dembele

I cannot see why LG can't play the 10 role as well as Rogic.
Rogic is quality but clearly not the fittest/ Quickest or hard working the way he should be for this team.
LG has pace got goals (obv) and works hard, I think he could play this role easily and could also go beyond Dembele which Rogic wont.
Considering this sevco team ain't that good their defence is all over the place, just look at the goals in our team.
Thoughts lads.

Rayman - I thought not being the quickest, being fit or hard working shouldn't have been a problem to get in the team last year?
