Hi ed,first time poster. Great site.
Just a quick rant on the lack of signings or in fact even the lack of targets, find it hard to believe that the third division new boys are actually having more activity in the transfer Market than us,surely we need to get our finger out! My fear is that we get thru on wednesday night and by the time we get any players in they won't have been signed in time to play in champions league!! Any thoughts?

1st off how do usual suspects ed/Tim/gj/bim etc etc stayed away from these pages as the whole rangers saga just going through me. As for signings I don't think we need to change up much why fix something that's not broken?

The reason the rangers fc are signing players is there squad is less than 20 players or there abouts plus others left so there filling the gaps. Wouldn't worry about it one bit unless we lose on Wednesday then we might need to sell a player or two to balance books outs hopefully get shot of ki this window anyway get the money for him plus we have a good youth system in place if anyone does go something that we have that the rangers fc don't have

Anyway hope all is well with everyone

Who cares how many players sevco have a signed they r no longer relevant to us and won't be for for at least 3 years ! they have been found out as cheats and liars and will forever have a tarnished reputation. they do not deserve any attention but when they get it they resort to blaming everyone but themselves and making childish threats. the less we give them a soapbox the better

Lenny; Nice to have you back mate.I agree, i dont think we need to panic with any signings but we are clearly out of sorts just now.Against helsinki we started well and faded a bit, lost a goal, then came back like a train.I think we need to keep players fresh and aware that they have to turn it on or their out.I thought Ibrahim might have featured more as we need that kind of spark, maybe play with Hooper up front with him just off floating like Lubo? You have to learn from the best,do Barca go to plan B long balls to a striker? If teams are sitting in,thats what they want you to do.Most defenders will win the biggest percentage of high balls as it is easier to head forward, than try and knock down or head it on accurately.Injury free my team would be.

Mathews Rogne Mulgrew Izzy
Kayal Brown
Wanyama Ledley

Hooper
I think this would keep players fresh,as there is cover all over the pitch.Ibrahim/commons,Hooper/Sammi,Lustig,McGeough,stokes etc as good back up.Our front man can then stay long up the pitch tying up two defenders, and the midfield as very changeable in shape or performance depending on the way a game is shaping up.Love to hear your thoughts Lenny and the rest, and as always yourself ED..............green jhedi

Thoughts on the possible line up for wed night? If everyone is fit I'd go for;
Forster

Matthews
Lustig
Mulgrew
Izzy

Kayal
Wanyama

Commons
Ledley
Brown

Hooper

I know a lot of people wouldn't go for lustig over rogne but I like lustig and I think him and mulgrew could be a really good cb pairing for us. Both tall, strong, good in the air and both can score a decent amount of goals. Just my opinion but.

Would have Sammi in there and would drop Brown, but i know Lenny won't drop Brown if he's fit, so here's hoping he's still got a bit of a niggle...... Stevie

That is the team for me. It will never happen but genuinely believe that team would be increadibly hard to beat and would also score goals.

David Murray has denied any wrongdoing on the subject of dual contracts. Phew glad that's been cleared up now and we can all forget it and move on.

We would question why there appears to be no on-going investigation into the so-called 'Juninho EBT' used by Celtic FC. Celtic acknowledged that this was not declared to the football authorities as part of their licence application. If this is the case, then why is a tribunal not being set up to look into this? We want justice and fairness for all.'

For goodness sake….if New Rangers go into administration or any kind of insolvent position again, the fans cannot use the victim card again. The lasted statement from them beggars belief. They have collapsed in a mountain of debt and disgrace and think ONE Celtic player having briefly used an EBT is the same as over 50 players and staff using them long term. If they want to know why there’s no investigation maybe they should start dealing in facts..but then why change the habit of a lifetime.

'Justice and fairness for all' – Aye, guid yin !! ~ Mrs E

Believable7 Unbelievable3

I read that Mrs E.The words clutching at straws springs to mind.To me they are taking their eyes off the ball in regards to their own club again and WHEN their club folds again they will be blind-sided and shocked.Prepare to buy the jelly and ice-cream again.

Jungle Bhoy.

It doesn't matter if it is one or fifty IF it is against then rules then punishment should be dealt out. So is it ok to commit a crime and say och i only did it once? No. {Ed007's Note - It's nothing to do with using EBTs, it is to do with dual contracts, Juninho's full wages were declared in his contract lodged with the SFA.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Bearing in mind Juninho was at Celtic season 04/05 and played about 14 games. With retrospect Celtic knew the EBT was not good and paid everything back. We won the Scottish Cup that season. An investigation, bring it on ! Mrs E

If The Walking Dead FC are paying Ian Black and Dean Shiels £7,000 a week and trying to sign Craig Beattie , Fran Sandaza and Kevin Kyle on similar deals while playing in Division 3 on vastly reduced income then it will only be a matter of time before they are in financial trouble again , they cannot sustain this , if Craig Levein wants to keep his job then Lee Wallace's Scotland career is over or at the very least on hold , Levein cant possibly pick a player from Division 3 for World Cup Qualifiers .

since hooper and stokes play together they have a personal bet as who could score the most goals nothing wrong with a bit of extra competition but at times i think both look real greedy trying to go for goal when the pass is the easier option do you think its strikers instinct or the personal bet is hampering team play ??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Strikers natural instinct
