Sly sports news and sly bet are just a con. Anything on sly news you will be presented with odds to throw your money at or it will just be an advert for one of their broadcasts.

If you went to the hassle of registering that name you could of at least spelt it right lol.

Sorry Kieran... Predictive text I'm afraid! I'll be manager next year Bhoys. Let the good times roll, Hail Hail

Having a think about what players need to go and was wondering what people's thoughts on these were?

Boyata, Ambrose, Commons, Izaguirre, Forrest, CKR, Blackett, Janko, Ciftci and Cole.

Bitton and Johansen can also go to provide extra funds.

I'd keep Mulgrew as a squad player and give Simunovic till January to prove his fitness.

I'd say another 4/ 5 good players and we should have a half decent team.

Agree with all your suggestions JB. One more I would add is Scott Allan! I know he's not had a run of games but to be perfectly honest I never rated him in the first place plus with Christie, Rogic, Henderson (also I would love to see Armstrong in a central position) in similar position I think we should move him on! With one or two quality additions particularly in the striker position I think that's what is required for next season! And s decent manager of course.

I would like to see if janko could get a run in team if he stays injury free.

I would keep Ckr, think he could do a job playing through middle with LG, would keep Allan, is much more creative than the other options in midfield, and would benefit from an extended run, . Am amazed all the more I read about Leicester success, they played 442,don't they know that all the best teams play with one up front, and why weren't they rotating the squad, don't they know that the modern game is much too fast and strenuos and it is not humanly possible to play week in week out, you just have to rotate the team every week.

05 May 2016 21:48:32
Hard to argue with any of that Jb. Iceman I'm with you get shot of bitton and johanssen and bring Armstrong into the middle. Really surprised at the lack of game time Christie has had too he may be young but has plenty of mins under his belt playing for ict.

I would keep izzy and ckr and add Allen gms scepovic and fasan.

Aindoh Celtic have played about 50% more matches than Leicester . In 2003 MO'N didn't rotate his players and despite a wonderful squad of players we finished up winning nothing.

06 May 2016 09:58:54
But, Oldbhoy, there is rotation and there is rotation, I don't see anything wrong with finding your best team and then allowing them to play together week in and out and letting them form partnerships and develop understandings, and then occasionally resting players, who are getting stale, and dropping ones who lose form, but this rotating positions on masse because it says so on page 95 of the sports science manual is, in my opinion, madness.

06 May 2016 11:25:41
A would also let Allen he's not good enough
Mulgrew
Forrest
Izzy
Ambrose
Boyata
Cole
Not sure about CKR yet
Fisher has done well everytime I have seen him but think he will be movin good to.

06 May 2016 12:03:28
Correct aindoh. A settled squad should be the basis of the team's rotation. Find your best eleven and then tweak it when you need to. I'd be interested to hear how many times RD has went with the same first team for two or three games in a row, although I appreciate that injuries can play a part in that.

06 May 2016 19:06:16
I forgot all about Stokes, Fisher, Scepovic. Any other useless players out on loa you can think off? Henderson can stay.

Aindoh, no matter what R D did you condemned him . I suppose u still claim to be a Celtic fan, you certainly cannot claim to be a Celtic supporter.

I see the negetive spin has already been placed on our new safe standing announcement already, with the daily ranger quoting a hillsbourgh victims mother that the announcement was insensitive as the inquest was only a week old. The tradegy happened 27years ago and although I have sympathy with the victims, the family's have to move on and put it to.

{Ed007's Note - With all due respect I fail to see how the two things are even connected.}

05 May 2016 17:14:10
Spot on Ed. The tragedy, as we are now seeing, was a total procedural failure by the match Commander and leading officers in controlling and eventually realising what was happening. Nothing to do with standing or seating arrangements. Not sure if I like the idea of standing areas but I appreciate some people do and the concept has been tested successfully elsewhere. The club are responding to requests from their supporters/ paying public.

A think it's a good idea if fans want it at the Rangers/ Celtic match a few weeks ago the full Rangers end stood for the full match and it seemed it was the same in the Celtic end! happy belated birthday ed.

{Ed007's Note - Cheers Ryan.}

Wow! That's a pretty grubby bit of crap journalism right there. Would like to think it at least involved the effort of a board meeting with a graph showing potential effects on Celtic's branding but in all probability it was a hurried "bad stuff about Celtic" Google search from a taxi.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 May 2016 21:22:22
I doubt if any of the 96 families even knew about our announcement . and as all football fans from that era know the standing wasn't tbe problem it was the access to the terraces and those horrible pens.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 May 2016 22:30:17
It's gutter journalism at its very worst. It wasn't safe standing sections that caused people to die, it was dangerous levels of overcrowding. And what's the club supposed to do, not renew season tickets because of the Hillsbrough ruling?

I'll be honest, I'm not too keen on the new kit. My favourite was the one a few seasons ago when we had the thinner hoops, pretty sure it was the 125 year top.

I like it. Apart from the sponsor on the back.

I must admit I really like the new strip! I have never been a huge fan of collars on strips but I really like this one.

I really like it.
Just plain hoops just the way it should be.

05 May 2016 20:33:30
Maybe it will grow on me. I just feel like the NB home kits have both looked quite shiny which gives me the impression of them being cheap and tacky almost.

05 May 2016 03:54:30
On the rumours of the away top I would like to see us follow a similar design to the shamrock rovers away kit for 16/ 17
Also a Nb sponsored team so who knows. Haven't seen any leaked pictures of the full kit.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

05 May 2016 11:59:21
If that's the one with the thin gold hoops then I agree. Plain black would just be a bit boring. Shame I ain't buying anything from the club unless there's big changes. One kit I will be buying, for the Euros, is the Eire away kit. Its got hoops down the sleeves and side it looks well smart.

Agree0 Disagree4

05 May 2016 13:19:09
Yea that's the one JimTim. Really like the look of the ireland away aswel

Could be a nice design for us in the future.

05 May 2016 19:24:57
I bought the eire home kit from ali express guy's only a tenner. Just watch the sizes if you buy, go one size more for best fit xl instead of large etc.

Does Scepovic get a chance next season, I was a fan of his in Spain before he came in, he was scoring for fun, all be it in the first division, this season he has been woeful, and had a lot of starts, being subbed regularly on 70 mins or so.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

05 May 2016 00:21:56
I don't think he really wanted to be at Celtic and it really never worked out for him or the team - short term though it was.
The new manager will decide who stays next season, but I don't think his heart is here and he will probably go down as yet another waste- of-space signing that we will offload at a loss. like a few others.

Spot on Jim to me he and his agent were holding out for more money from Getafe when they realised it wasn't happening they hut out way the bull shit we where always his first choice. Anytime I've seen him play for us he always looked far too slow, bad touch and even when he came off bench he looked knackered after 10 minutes.

Agree2 Disagree0

07 May 2016 21:51:57
Maybe turning up late for training and missing training altogether may have something with him far too slow, bad first touch and knackered after 10 mins.
