He may or may not have been booed but it's irrelevent.

Fact is his signing was met with indignation and disappointment, there's no way anyone can deny that. Izaguirre - who was simply world-class last season - being in front of him in the pecking order just furthered our perception of him being surplus to requirements.

Whatever way you look at it he came here with a point to prove. In the end he's proved it - he's 100% an asset to the team and by a mile has been player of the year for us. As much as I hate defending Keevins, there's no need to get tribal over it.
