First time post, love the site well done to everyone. Seen Patrick Roberts changed his twitter name to 7 from 27. Hopefully this is a sign that at long last someone to wear the iconic jersey that really deserves it.

Ed, with VVD moving this summer for a huge amount of £££ does that kinda mean that we will get Roberts for free excluding his wage obv over the time he is at Celtic. If VVD goes for a reported 60 million or more and we have a 10% sell on surly Wee Paddy won't cost more than 6 million? If I am correct not a bad player for free 😂! Hope all Eds and Fellow posters are doing well ☺️. HH.

I'd like to have thought we would have been willing to pay the money for Paddy without VVD being sold but surely an extra £5-6m in the coffers would make certain.

I know i am against all these ridiculous wages that they get paid down in England, but there is no way Roberts can end up at Parkhead, unless he takes a huge drop in wages or Celtic start paying even more ridiculous wages, well i just don't think it will happen, because money talks.

I think it will take more than £6mill to get Paddy. Also think he wants to try and get into Man City squad so if we get him i don't think he will be here for CL qualifiers.

Now that it looks like Liverpool have won the race for big Virgil, it must be a certainty that we will draw them in the group stages of champions league!

Ed I'm looking for a bit of help. I've been asked by the nuns the Sisters of Mary to auction or raffle a signed framed copy of the 67 verse poem celebrating the Lisbon Lions by Thomas PC Craven to raise funds for them. He donated it to them. They're Schoenstatt sisters based in Campsie not far from Celtics training ground at Lennoxtown. It's approximately 3 1/ 2 ft x 2 1/ 2 ft. Any ideas if there's anything we could do through the forum? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Ed.

Ed I've uploaded a picture of the 67 verse poem in tribute to The Lisbon n Lions and think it's the man that wrote it himself with it. The Sisters of Mary would really appreciate it if for the troops were able to raise some cash through it. They're struggling a bit and you'll never support a better cause guys. I have been allowing myself to get a bit deflated recently by getting swept up in the end of season media (and fan) frenzy to sell our best players. All that on the back of our best domestic season in my lifetime.
After giving myself a talking to I realised that our squad is still intact. MD is still here and has made no noises about leaving. We could potentially secure PR permanently if a fee can be agreed. SA is on the verge of signing a new deal. BR has confirmed MD will be here for the qualifiers. We also KE sitting on the bench having been eased into life at the club. I expect bigger things from him this season.
I would also expect quite a few fringe players to go a couple of decent signings to come in. We will go into the qualifiers strong. I'm not about to panic yet.

this site is mental at times wtf does everyone expect. we've just won the treble for only the 4th time in our history, gone undefeated and on course for ten in a row. these are great times to be a tim.
european ambition for us as a club should be just to try not get hammered evry game perhaps at best get last 16 ( i like my pissups abroad btw)
demebele well he came to us to play and will only leave to play yes he's our player but why hold the lad to ransom he couldve gone spurs before us for plenty of money but didn't as as far as im concerned done us a right good turn with some great memories and wil leave us with plenty in the bank.

Problem is welsbhoy history shows the board go into pennypinching mode when we get some success/ dominance. eg oneill money first 2 seasons then 1 player signed (money) after 2002.pearson 300_500000 (I think) . all others where loans or boys. can't slate them just now though until we see summer recruitment / departures.

Our support are wonderful and very vocal when everything is going well. Manager, captain and team members are enjoying great praise and wonderful respect . Even P Lawwell and D D and rest of the board are equally held in good regard .
To my thinking this high esteem is well placed and fully deserved .
Sometimes we can quickly turn on some of our valued employees . Before B R came Lawwell was at the end of several blogs and articles criticising him . I wonder were they deserved, most criticism was about him playing too big a role in recruiting players, my concerns are did he demand or want this greater input, or did the board as a whole impose Lawwell with this responsibility because they didn't trust anyone else . B Rodgers demanded and seems to have a far bigger input on players coming and going, as well as extending players contracts and we the supporters are happier .
