Hi all, I am very unsure about the way things are going, why do we wait till the very last minute to do deals? Why play players in games when the manager clearly does not like them? And this story off us spending 9m on a player, we only did so as they knew Armstrong was going . please do t come back to me and stick up for the club I know how things go on as I did a small part in a Semi pro league yes it's different but getting players was done the same I got offerd players from all over, so I hu are we all ways going for the same old players.

I can only reiterate that it is the first week of July. We signed Ntcham later than this. Resigned Roberts later than this. The season before Sinclair later than this. So obviously there is still time to get good signings in. Earlier would be better, don't get me wrong, but I don't know why people get in a panic every year.

If we want to continue to totally dominate domestically, be the only Scottish club to play in Europe after August and keep the best manager we have had in many-a-year - we will improve the squad.
So no matter, how much speculation and negativity is generated by detractors, ne-er-do-wells, and sevco snipers, please rest assured, we will add quality when the distraction of the WC and this window allows; so we can continue to be the best team in the land bar-none.

As far as getting in players early to suit impatient fans, that would be no problem, if we didn't have specific players in mind . I hope buying to satisfy fans is no longer done and in fact I know it isn't . Brendan has his targets and we cannot buy the player until he is ready to sign and his club are ready to sell.

A lot of players might not be to keen on coming to this SPFL at first so will wait and see if anything else develops.
Some player may wait and see if we qualify for the CL group stages, Also the English transfer window closes on Aug 9th and they need to cut their squads down to 25 so there will be a few players available then.

your point is fair about the release and availability of players and EPL window closing August, but.
WE have qualifying games on 10th and 17th and 24th and 31st July.
So that will potentially be be 4 (possibly 5 games) before that window for English clubs to buy ends.
And that is not even considering the possibility of us losing any players.
So, while not panicking, I do hope we are going about our business to strengthen the squad.

It has always been the case that if we qualify for the champions league group stages then the better quality of player we can attract, plenty of time left in this window to sign the quality of player required for specific positions, I'm not one for signing players for the sake of it!

Martin O 'Neill did a fantastic job for us, particularly in his first 2/ 3 years. However over-all Martin grossly overspent and damn nearly bankrupt us.

With now being the mid point of Moussa's contract, I'd like to see the club offer him a bumper wage rise to tempt him to sign an extension and then let him move on next summer after another great season - which I think he'll have if he stays injury free. I don't know what he's on just now but say he was given £40-50k, that would pay for itself if we could get £25M+ for him in a year's time.

Now when M D departure date seems to be on the long finger and it looks like he will be with us for another year, I couldn't believe it . I was away for a few days and was met with K Tierney leaving us. Seems fans have gone on a mad rush to get rid of one our best players . I don't know the origin of the rumours and I don't believe them.

Can I just say, Gordon would not only be near my team, but he would also be in it . Any goalkeeper that has 100 clean sheets in two games playing behind a defence made up, according to many fans, Lustig was a sick note and last season was past it, Ambrose and then Boyata, two of the most criticised bombscares who ever played for Celtic and then the brilliant K T who was probably often our most dangerous attacker and hence didn't have to concentrate on defensive duties .
Gordon can't be all bad and we did well to have Bain as back-up.
