Heard Bellamy will sign for Celtic on loan for a season with you lot paying 75% of his wages (£69, 500) but will train with Cardiff City and only come upto Scotland the day before games. This is because he expects to sign permanently for Cardiff for the 2012/13 season. Surely this would just cause dressing room unrest if he gets such preferential treatment from Lemon and co.

What u think of this if true ed?

Fan of the champions btw {Ed007's Note - 75% of £90k is £67, 500. Why would Cardiff City allow Bellamy to train with them, there is no gain for the club. With weekend games and midweek games he could end up spending his time on a plane. How can he sign for Cardiff at the end of next season when his City contract doesn't end until the summer of 2013? Common sense would tell you that it would cause dressing room unrest, as it would tell you that you actually don't know what you are talking about. One final thing, who is Lemon?}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hey gang their Jokes are funnier than ours guy just posted serious rumour 22.24.49 that gers are taking LUKA MODRIC on season long loan as he wants CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
Their fairytales are like there football GRIM cheers Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, this balloon probably does'nt realise, that Lemon was one of the nicknames, of a guy who terrorised Rangers for years. He is also the guy who has won the most honours in the history of British football, so hopefully the guy, he is trying to slag, is as successful as our very own Lemon

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Hey Ed007, tony and all our bhoys I suggest you go on gers banter time 21.22.38 and read Miko's latest post he has posed them a few "taxing" questions
Guffaw, Guffaw Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Miko keep up good work and now we have it in writing that "we are welcome back" we can SUE for Breach of Contract" I know a good QC a certain Mr McBride if HMRC dont bankrupt the "B's" WE WILL hahahahahahahah I LOVE BEING A TIM eh Miko? Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't imagine being anything other than a Tim Glad you liked my post mate, they all seem to think that G@rs are debt free......our noisy neighbours needed a reality check, lol. Hail Hail.....Miko

Agree0 Disagree0

In theory we are not debt free. all the debt is held with a holding company .belonging to whyte to secure the assets ie ibrox murray park etc if the worst happens lose tax case taxman cant touch assets and give celtic a lead which im sure you would accept. however if rangers win the tax case i hate to think what he would do with all that money .main thing not paying interest on loans banks no longer in control. a little room for manoeuvre more than what we have had over the last few years.two good centre halfs and i would be happy big rab by the way {Ed007's Note - Rab, all what money? £25 million over 5 years, you know it's a shambles, McGregor is taking £1.35m a year out the club, no wonder he wants to stay for life. When is Cuellar (rest of my career here by the way) due up for talks by the way?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Im talking about the debt ed007 he has gone on record saying what he will do if we win the tax case think the debt being held 28 million mmmm big rab by the way the money hes given ally not a lot but hes promised nothing other than whats on the record and hasnt gone back on anything yet and i suspect he wont you no my my opinion on mcgregor. ally is interested in cuellar imo leave until january get him then all reports are he wants to come back and for those like me who werent happy how he left if. he hadnt been sold we wouldnt have got davis {Ed007's Note - What happens if they lose the taxcase? His insolvency/administration plan as he has said?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats on the record as well we will go into administration everybody no this thats why he holding the debt everybody nos this is a test case and there is a lot of other business worried because they no there next and talking about shambles i thing your talking about the wage bill at celtic i reckon at lest 8 player have to go and not bring anyone in big rab by the way {Ed007's Note - We have brought in 2 players, with Wanyama to come, plus youth players. So who has left covers that money. No player has rejected CFC over money, we are not relying on loan players to make up our squad after the EPL teams register their 25 (in August). If it is a test case why are Rangers using Portsmouth as a template of their own troubles? It is common knowledge that at least Shooter knows how to juggle figures to suit his own ends, as countless people who lost their redundancy money etc over his liquidation of companies and previous tax evasion troubles have shown, but that is OLD news now and I made all that up :-) Was Harry Redknapper manager of Portsmouth at the time? Maybe he is giving business advice to Shooter before his own court appearance?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007 we have discussed this at length at lest three times it keep coming up and there has been nothing to add for months i also said he has covered all his bases and its win win for whyte this is what this guy does for a living its like a merry go round i keep repeating myself heres the long and short of it. you listen to your free lance journalist friend and i will listen to my sources who are painting a rosier future for rangers big rab by the way {Ed007's Note - I'm a freelance journalist Rab, and have many friends in the same field, freelance or otherwise.}

Do we really want bellamy? 32 next week and I think he would cause problems in the team. Hes got that attitude and I dont think lenny would like it. Why not bring Robbie Keane back and give him the number 7 shirt? Yes hes about the same age as bellamy but in my eyes a better player Him and Hooper would get 50 goals between them easy

heard we are interested anders lindegaard on loan from man utd and we are could be going for johan djourou from arsenal on 12month loan deal....edu oriol could be the srtiker NL is looking at from barcelona b team hes 25 yrs old wants a taste of playing in european games and is keen to go to celtic while other clubs are interested the young striker feels celic could be the ideal club after having speaking with marc crosas freiburg and stuttgart are interested.... sounds a decent player hope we get them 3 players..

hail hail

WHAT THE MIGHTY GLASGOW CELTIC LOWERED TO THE RANGERS TACTICS OF GOING WITH BEGGIN BOWL IN HAND LOOKING FOR LOAN PLAYERS AND BOSMANS RANGERS ARE SKINT AS YOU ALL KEEP SAYING WHATS YOUR EXCUSE LOL

Tony {Ed007's Note - That's a rumour Tony, not another club manager on live TV saying it, or your Ian Durrant, I would have gave him his job title but I don't think anyone knows yet what that is. Pie tester maybe? No manager has came on live TV and admitted to meeting our owner and discussing loan players, and then Rangers deny it, so what happens if the players do join Rangers, is it Shooter signing players or your Director of Football or Ian Durrant, all seem to have more to say than McCoist}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Miko you have got a reply from ED0010 on his site he claims "they all knew it was a wind up" I even got a post published and he said I was "welcome back" hey ED007 does he know what he has let himself in for he has opened the floodgates haha Timalloy keep up the good work Miko {Ed007's Note - In the words of a fish frying prostitute I knew back in the day, BATTER IN!!! lol}

d007's Note - I like Brown Miko. As I said every team needs a player like that, I have the same argument with Man Utd fans about Michael Carrick. They do a very unglamourous job very well. If NL thinks he is good enough to be CFC captain that is good enough for me, he knows what type of person it takes to do the job}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aye im a rangers fan and i dint remember him ever scoring 30 or 26 goals are u talking about lafferty at new york rangers {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey tony what do you know of this australian player linked with you Jedika
heard if he flies in BBC Scotland are making documentary about him called "Return of the Jedika"haha timalloy
PS laugherty has never scored 30 in his CAREER {Ed007's Note - He has scored about 40 in his ENTIRE career and about 10 for NI, off the top of my head, maybe Spurs woul dlike him on loan next season??? Is Harry Redknapper wheeling and dealing again???}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lafferty

Just a point about Scotland team, obviously is it not celtic banter but just curious what opinions everyone has?

for example : Jack McBean - Born USA being tracked by Levein.

I am totally for this as being born in Canada and not moving "home" to Scotland until 17 years old maybe I don't give a "homegrown answer" I am now 29

I have always felt Scottish and my dad raised me that way my mother is born in Canada but to Scottish parents my dad was raised in Royston

Bankier Bhoy / Canadian Pete

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't see any problems with this. Scotland have fielded many players that weren't born in Scotland.

K. {Ed007's Note - Shaun Maloney}

Agree0 Disagree0

Always amazes me when the Govan Nuns complain about Aidan McGeady playing for the Republic. Richard Gough (born Sweden) and Stuart McCall and Andy Goram (both English) played for Scotland whislt Rangers players and we never heard a peep.

K.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye iwelumo or whatever u call him. what a player. mc bean seriously iv never met a mc bean {Ed007's Note - He is a real player, he plays with LA Galaxy}

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember being in a pub in hillingdon london, euro 96, it was before the scotland, england game (gazzas goal). We got talking to 3 scotland fans who had travelled over from Canada, for the games. The two older ones were born in Scotland, their son was born in Canada, We sold them our tickets for the final game at Villa park, as we had ran out of money. We sat for the whole day talking about football, they were 3 bluenoses, we were 3 tims, they were 3 of the proudest Scotsmen you were ever likely to meet in your life. A great day

No rumour just fact we shouldnt be lookin at bellamy he only wantin a pay check if he wants to where the shirt he got train b in scotland be a true celt instead of training in cardiff an flyin.over for games lennon.shouldnt b tryin to sign sum1 who wants his own.playin term wee shud bein goin for ppl like huseklepp he wants the jersey he luks gud player wee need ppl like him play for the team.no for the muny

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I was against bellamy because of massive wages but when you think about it although he has had injuries and lost some pace he has not lost his footballing brain and his speed of thought would be an asset to our clever players and we have other players who can do most of running for him let him set up the bullets for other celtic players to fire Timalloy {Ed007's Note - So CFC should allow him to stay in Cardiff, take the mega money wages, and change the whole teams style to accommodate him etc etc Why not put him on an hourly rate like the normal man in the street? I would have loved this scenario to have came up when Fergus McCann was in charge! If Bellamy comes to CFC, fine, if we win the league, fine, but all this talk about we NEED him etc is nonsense. Craig Bellamy will do what he has always done, look after Craig Bellamy. Someone even posted last night said if he came and we won the league he would become a CFC legend???? He has had a nomadic career going from one crisis to another, all his previous clubs, managers and team mates can't be wrong surely?}

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jul 2011 18:20:17
Oh, and another thing Jamie mac, what I said does make sense........Scott Brown starts every game because we were winning with him in the team, otherwise he wouldn't play....how can that NOT make sense?......Tell me, what's our best midfield?....Miko

(0) (0)

Best midfeild would be

kayal ki ledley

commons

....na, wrong, we lost more games with Ki in the side and he played just as many games as Brown....in short, we won more points with Brown in the side...Miko

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think we miss brown when he is not playing for his aggression and passion, I like Ki as a player but especially against h..s he is too easly knocked off ball. Ed007 was it you who said if Wannyama signs to play him at Centre Back? his old coach said in an interview they tried him there but was too inexperienced and they put him back to holding midfield, I agree about mastolevich he has poor control ball bounces about two yards from him. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - No Tim mate, someone else suggested it, I said I expected him to play as a DM then move to CB over time if his progression keeps up as has been reported}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007, tony a serious point, ( yes i can be serious now and then) if gers go with say 4 loan signings it will take them a while to gel look at Celtic last year with all our new players europe came too soon, gers players are going to be inexperienced in handling big game pressures. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Valid point Tim, and with any loan signing for any club, do they really care about the team/club. If they fail they go back to their own team, if they are a success their club will want good money for them to stay permanently. I am not the biggest fan of loan signing as people have probably gathered. Have CFC and Rangers fallen that far that we are being used to give young players from the EPL experience or for a hefty pay day for others. Spurs didn't get into the CL this year, but Rangers who have a chance to qualify are reportedly looking at their youth players, not even fringe, but players that aren't good enough to play against the lower EPL teams to blood them??}

Agree0 Disagree0

Na, wrong, we lost more games with Ki in the side and he played just as many games as Brown....in short, we won more points with Brown in the side...Miko

true but think ki would be awsome as the deeper player in a 3 man midfield. just my opinion though. good to have so many quality options

bellend to much money for wages has peaked and is on his way down got glass knees

craig bellend 7 years ago now thats a different kettle of fish.

i would like to say that i agree with you on ma broon you should give him a 10 year deal with a clause that he starts every game cause he is PI5H and he will help us achieve 4 in a row lol

Neil Lennon wants to hang onto Scott Brown

Neil Lennon is not willing to even consider bids for his captain Scott Brown after Newcastle were linked with a move for the midfielder. Next summer sees Brown's Celtic contract end and he has attracted interest from the Magpies due to his strong displays last season.

Lennon said: "We opened preliminary talks with Scott at the end of last season. He's on record as saying he wants to stay at Celtic and that is something I'm very pleased about. I'm hoping to get him tied down. I wouldn't be surprised if there's interest as he was magnificent last season. I'd be unwilling to sell him and I'd rebuff any offers."

Right, ffs am gonna reply to my fellow hoops fans on the Scott Brown debate.....opinion seems to be split as there are other blogers on this forum who agree with me and others who agree with Jamie mac.

Jamie, you stated you and your pals struggled or failed to mention one game where Brown has made a difference. Well I instantly informed you of a game where he did make a difference and scored a fantastic equaliser with 10 men under his Captaincy. Then, in response, you state that I only managed to come up with one game....eh? Then you say he wasn't our best player in that game. I was at that game and he was immense, played a real Captains role and capped it off with a peach of a strike. You seem to make aimless statements without backing them up with hard facts. Who was our best player that day then Jamie? Also, when we initially signed Brown, he was noted as a player who can play on either wing, in the centre of midfield and up front. It's in the archives mate, check it out. Scott Brown is Celtic captain and will be next season - why? Coz Lenny and his team mates appreciate his style and as I stated earlier, as a guy who could 'kick a baw', I would defo appreciate playing alongside a player like that.

Mcgrath, buddy, I don't see Bellamy up here at £65k a week (transfer fee or no transfer fee) whilst staying in Cardiff for the majority of each week. I stated earlier that Lennon would never agree to that, especially on those wages. If, for some maraculous reason, he did end up with us, I'd definitely welcome him with open arms - won't happen though

Tony, Tony, Tony.....are you saying Bellamy's a worse player than he was 7 years ago? If the Shame signed Bellamy you'd change your tune.....who would you rather have, Kyle or Bellamy....don't even think about saying Kyle lol.

Hey Ed, hope you're well, I'm getting pelters off Jamie mac, can we not have a vote on who's for Brown (our Captain) and who's against....would be interesting....Miko {Ed007's Note - I like Brown Miko. As I said every team needs a player like that, I have the same argument with Man Utd fans about Michael Carrick. They do a very unglamourous job very well. In this climate mate there can be no shame in those signing on who actually want to work. Try again. Although i see it was banter, albeit in bad taste, it kinda belittles some peoples plight but that would be right up some people i could think ofs nasty little street. But tony, at least those who do sign on leave the house, not like cave trolls like yourself. Ha ha
jamie mac(is this banter?)

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Hi jamie mac we all tolerate Tony as he is harmless and deluded after all who would spend £500 watching Sh..e at ibrox every week haha Timalloy Ps Tony do you think Gordon smith walks around all day with tinfoil around his chest and neck to keep tan topped up?

Timalloy we pay £500.00 to watch our team lift the title thats good value for money Paying £500.00 to watch your team lift the Scottish Cup what a bragain haha

Tony, billyboy we Celtic fans can laugh at ourselves here are couple of drunk Celtic fan jokes (both true - honest)
Drunk fan in jungle peeing up against wall when young policeman runs over disgusted, takes his radio out to call for help and presses button so aerial shoots up drunk looks at this, looks at cop then says "beam me up scottie" crowd round about fell about laughing.
Another drunk in jungle ( ah the good old jungle) peeing outside toilet, pie in hand, pie grease all down his face, crumpled jacket and smelling of BO turns to me and says "hey pal how are the ANIMALS doing ? True story Timalloy

Tony are you happy about Ortiz coming wait till tomorrow laptop loyal will have him as "greatest ever rangers signing" chick young says boy can play in 20 positions and rangers fought over 90 teams to get him. Also BBC Scotland are doing 4 hour special on Ortiz "why I turned down Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea" haha Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Have you read this Tim?

as i stated in previous post Ed any half decent player from the Spanish League, championship, and other Leagues should be superstars in the SPL Hooper, Kayal, Jelavic where all good players for thier previous teams but great players in the spl as for Ortiz his previous manager has stated he is so versatile that he will need 3 players to replace him but until i see him paraded with rangers top then thats when i belive he has signed (then super Mo jumps to mind) infact i will wait till he plays. and he may not be wanted by barca, or real but he has played at that level week in week out so the SPL should pose no problem

Hi ed, this deal with Bellamy is it loan, all the stories very cagey about it as it doesn't actually specify just wondering if yourself or anyone else knows.

Also has the victor wanayma deal went through the international window been open 5 days now.

Hail hail

Cumby Bhoy {Ed007's Note - Good afternoon Cumby, there are stories that Bellamy could ask to be released from his contract which could make him a free agent, although Sunderland and Stoke, amongst others have expressed interest in buying him a lot depends on Man Citys stance over the player. I would imagine if City can get any money for him they will opt for the highest bidder to deal with. If Bellamy decides not to join that club City could just leave him in limbo. He actually has 2 years left on his contract but the money is not an issue to City and they could block any loan move for him. It is a very complicated situation with any number of possible outcomes. I would be very surprised if CFC could afford to buy him outright from City and match the finances being offered elsewhere, so unless he is released I expect it would be a loan signing with City helping pay his wages.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bottom line celtic wont get bellamy if city get a cash offer for him thet'll take it no matter how friendly he is wif lennon r how much he wants to come to us another thing is he would b looking at least 50k from i think so we should all just leave this rumour to burn out

hi guys been away for a couple of days did ya miss me lol

hey ed ive been catching up with some of the previouse post and have noticed you have been very negative about rangers going down south with the beggin bowl for players on loan in your words

whats the diff between rangers loaning players to celtic loaning players was lennon begging for Forster is he beggin for Bellamy. i think loan deals are a very good business deals as it gives you the chance to evaluate a player and if the player is good enough you have a chance of keeping him. take weiss or bartley even diouf these guys came on loan for a season and would jump at the chance to come back to rangers and there still is a possibility they could except diouf as he is s**t.

in the past you have had Keane and bellamy on loan these guys had the chance to stay with Celtic but decided not too. any player that comes through the Arsenal, totenham, man city youth teams are worth taking a chance on. so lets have less of the beggin bowl nonsence especialy when your own club are in the market for Loan players.

and as for your question on how much has Rangers actualy spent the answer is Nil the same as Celtic and before you mention wannabe or what ever his name celtic hasnt paid for him as yet it is subject to work permit (i think this is just a formality but as yet they have spent nowt)

Tony {Ed007's Note - Tony, I was saying it because it wasn't McCoist that approached Spurs, it was Shooter when he was in London for his "love in" interview with Jim White. McCoist is the manager so why is the new owner approaching clubs and asking for players when the manager might not want them? It seems that McCoist is not getting much say in what players are coming in and it is more of signing any player that they can lay their hands on. Ian Durrants statement that they would wait to see what players are available when EPL teams put in their 25 man squad, before seeing what is available does not bode well with Rangers fans surely. 1 or 2 loans is all well and good, any more than that and then next summer the same scenario will arise when these players leave. With Foster, Weiss, Bartley and Diouf all leaving that is four squad members down already. I am not too well informed regarding Rangers youth teams but surely there is players there who deserve a chance rather than some youth player from Spurs or Chelsea. Young players will only improve with playing games, so why help Spurs bring on their youngsters rather than help Rangers by bringing through their own?}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Some of your points make sense Ed but some dont m8 these youth players have experiance in the chawhich in all championship which in all honesty is on a par if not better than the spl rangers have such a thread bare squad we dont have the money to cover all the positions we need players for so it makes good sense to get some loans sign up our better players on longer deals also try and ad a couple of permanent deal, as for our own youth system well we are brining through some player Wylde, Ness, Hutton but we need the right balance youth and experiance and these guys we are reportedly interested on loan have both youth and some experiance and who knows we may be able to get one of them on permanent deal just because they are not goodenough for chelsea, totenham, cityetc first team dosnt make them not good enough for the old firm.

also we did not go beggin these are the words of harry redknap according to sky sports news "They are looking for some loans and I mentioned one or two lads that we would loan out if they are interested, " Redknapp told Sky Sports News even Celtic are in the market for loan deals Bellamy for F*ck sake why not give your youth a chance

Tony {Ed007's Note - I am against Bellamy coming here on loan Tony, if you read back my answers, CFC should not be bending over backwards to accommodate any player to the extent being spoke about. I would question you saying that the 2 Spurs players have experience though Tony, Phil Jones and Jordan Henderson are younger than Livermore (47 games in three seasons) and look at the money they went for this summer. Khumalo is 24 and the highest club level he has played at is 5 games for PNE. Rangers are looking to fill their squad with loan signings, that is not building for the future mate, no matter how you look at it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

ED you don't actually know what the goings on at Ibrox are do you? How do you know McCoist never wanted the players from Spurs do you think Whyte never discussed it with him? Have you got some secret Mic installed in the Ibrox corridors or something because you seem to know more than the rest of us

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - The guys name isn't Mike ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

What a comeback ED put me in my place LMAO

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - Cheers Billy}

Agree0 Disagree0

Right Ed according to the press rangers know nothing of these guys so it looks like they have been offered to Rangers but as of yet Rangers have not taken up on this offer and also as yet they have taken no one on loan nor bought anyone before you all rip into me as for this guy ortez i dont know much about him even if he does sign but playing in the spanish league he will have come up against a lot better players than he will in the SPL .

lets be honest here guys an average playes in the championship becomes a good player in the spl a good player in the Championship and equivelant leagues become great playes in the SPL Kayal, Jelavic, Hooper these guys are stepping down a level to come to scotland when i say steping down yes they may be signing for big clubs with a great history but the SPL is a complete joke can you imagine that League without Rangers or Celtic F*ck shinty would become more appealing (shinty = hockey played by men) lol as i live in the highlands i will get F*ck for last comment lol

Tony

Agree0 Disagree0

We haven't bid for these playesr ED apparently we don't know anything about the players. We haven't tried to get anyone on loan

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note -I am only going with Harry Redknappers words on live TV last night, that should help the relationship between the clubs no end if Rangers are denying it}

Agree0 Disagree0

I never said it was concrete ED just said apparently you know what the papers are like.

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - That is why I don't buy them, Billy.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Me niether ED just read them online lol

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - Best way Billy, I detest The S*n, even more so after yesterdays phone hacking revelations, but that hatred goes back years for me, the miners strike, the Thatcher years and their handling of the Hillsborough tragedy amongst other rubbish. The Daily Record is just a shambles and after that all the papers are just celebrity gossip mags IMO apart from the broadsheets, and they are just not my cup of tea at all. Read up on a guy called Kelvin MacKenzie and see how low some journalists will go.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Will do ED I take everything I read in the paper with a pinch of Salt. They will put anything in there to get them off the shelves

Billyboy1 {Ed007's Note - Exactly mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

Who said rangers have no money? i cant remember anyone having come out and said that its pure speculation. whyte is trying to run the club the way he runs his other assets wich since they have made him scotlands youngest billionare that cant be a bad thing. ed im sure you would agree its to easy to waste money in football and as rangers and celtic have not got the clout they used to it makes sense to take on a low risk strategy. by adding some players to problem areas rangers will be stronger next season as they have re signed all their assets. finally i agree 100% on bringing your own players on. why loan spurs or any other clubs fringe players when you can give youth a chance. whats the point in murray park or lennoxtown? if you dont bring your boys on. maby fleck might want to show us what all the fuss was about as well hes had 3 years. ness hutton and wylde put him to shame last season. ok hoops fans all the worst bazz {Ed007's Note - Shooter is not a billionaire, I stopped reading after that}

Hey Miko

withought getting into a slaggin match do you realy want a player like belamy.you stated about the goals he scored a few years ago for Celtic try nearly 7 years ago if im correct he played season 04-05 12 app 7 goals good return no doubt last season cardiff 35 games 11 goals pretty sh*t for a striker who demands the size of wage packet he does.

added to the fact that his fam will stay in cardiff he will travel up to play then next season he will sign for cardif for nothing. not a very good deal for celtic. i could see the point if he went to celtic on loan this season giving celtic option of a year after that.

also their are a lot of ppl who are saying city wont loan him out to another EPL club this is nonsense if he was loaned out to say stoke he would not be allowed to play against City and if he managed to score a couple against chelsea, man u etc it would only help citys cause.

Personally Tony , i don't think Celtic should sign Bellamy again , there is the chance that he is after one last payday , but if we do sign him and he plays to his ability , then what a signing he could be , he could ultimately win Celtic the league , he is , on his day a class player who can change a game .

P.s miko one goal versus rangers is not much to brag bout over 4 years. He has taken home about 5million since he signed and an equaliser, not even a winner is his best contribution? Seem to remember the best thing that happened to us in his first season was gettin suspended. We then got the league with him nowhere near starting 11. Not won the league since, there are some Stats jamie mac

Miko, that does not make sense mate. Your sayin we won more games with brown in the team- a would hope so considering he starts every game when not injured or suspended. Again, you managed only to come up with 1 game where he done something constructive and he wasnt our best in that game imo. The guy is a centre mid, but was shoe horned into right mid alot. Hmmm?

Ed, celtic MUST win the league this year n if it means payin over the odds 4 a 32 year old who in my eyes is still a class player who lennon knows will give everythin 4 him, the team n the supporters thn I think we shld do everythin in our power 2 get bellamy

Believable1 Unbelievable1

We do not want a player like Bellamy as he is old and past it. We want young players like Wanyama who have great potential and kayal whos young and been are best player last season. Bellamy is not the ansewer

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy plays with a swagger and arrogance, would take him back in a minute...still need to get a good goalkeeper on board pronto

Agree0 Disagree0

As a rangers fan i too think you should sign Bellamy but Lennon has More sense than waste cash on bellamy do the maths M8 if Mancity pay half his wage then that will leave you £45 k per week @ 52 weeks = approx £2.5 mill for 1 season on a player who has no sell on value Lennon may be ugly but he aint stupid but in all honesty i hope you sign him.

Tony

Why do people assume it'll be 'Celtic' paying Bellamy's wages. Who's to say Mr Desmond might not pay out of his own pocket, much the same as he did with Keane.

I have asked my mates this question several times miko, can you mention one game since brown came to celtic where he has been the difference? My point being they struggled and or failed to Remember any such occasions, if he was that good the teams he hurt would trip off the tongue. Kayal, ledley, ki and commons carried him through so many games last season. Jamie mac(still not a brown man

Dear, dear Jamie mac, you're havin a howler tonight.....We won more games with Scott Brown in the team than with any other player......and one game that springs to everyones mind was the old firm curler....down to 10 men, Broony scrappin away and scoring a brammer.....Good chat though......Miko

Ed, Craig Bellamy is not a great goalscorer but he's a great team player who would create a shed load of goals 4 us, I can't believe there's even a debate on this, if bellamy signs, celtic will win the league and he'll go down as a celtic legend {Ed007's Note - A Celtic legend? Without a doubt in years to come people will compare him to Jinky, Billy McNeill, Paul McStay, Henke etc etc etc. Craig Bellamy is looking for his 9th transfer of his career this window (loan or permanent), that is exactly the stuff legends are made of. His trophy haul of an FA Charity Shield winners medal and a Scottish Cup winners medal lays well for the foundations of a legendary career, oh wait he turns 32 in 8 days time!!}
