I see Channel 4 reporter Alex Thomson has posted a cheap and nasty blog on a Celtic website . It's seems like a story to curry favour with the bigoted orcs from Sevconia after all his work he's done on the downfall of Oldco . Is this the only Celtic /Sevco website he's ever had the chance to read . Surely not another Jack Irvine disciple . DH

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Look a bit more closer at the author, who is mentioned in the piece and their friendship with the pompous, self-serving and boring blogger/author from Glasgo...I mean Donegal. It's not currying favour DH, it's doing other people's dirty work for them.}

Got you Ed . No time for who your talking about . DH

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Think about it, do you really think Thomson would come up with that himself? Over one million fans went through CP's gates in season 2012/13, there were 47 arrests and 33 of them were away fans. Thomson's own team Newcastle had 175 of their fans arrested at Sid James Park during the same period. Hopefully more of our fans will now open their eyes (and ears) to what is happening, ignore the blogger/author and let him keep producing his powderpuff pieces to ingratiate himself with the 'customers' who are currently going to watch the team, just think back to his piece on the fabled Dundee riots last Christmas, a game I know for a fact he was never at.}

It all started when some 'Celtic' fans on the huddleboard posted disgusting and vile stuff relating to Angela Haggerty. She posted it on twi**er and it was truly horrific. Thomson then claimed our fans were the new MILLWALL FFS! One monumental feckin mess.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - She's another clown with her head so far up her own ar$e it's unreal. When did she become the spokesperson for our support or is she just another mouthpiece for the Donegal Dobber? Blame her and her cronies for any mess GJ, not your fellow supporters. They were actually only replying to her calling some CFC fans scum. I have to wonder how often Thomson checks Huddleboard, maybe that's what gets him through his days in war-zones. A complete non-story peddled by a couple of oxygen thieves.}

I do get where your coming from ED, there does seem to be a bit of a love in between herself, pmc and thomson. I know a lot of fans are suspicious of pmc and think he is a board man like brennan.

I remember there used to be a sevco poster on here, I can't remember his tag, but he responded to me telling me that in drink herself can be a bit of a nippy sweetie and bigot.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I really don't want to comment any further on here but you are spot on with what you said.}

Phil and Angela are both on Lawwells lamb and there wee mate tommo seems to have taken it a step further . Wonder what the arrest figures are for say Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester's 2 Spurs and West Ham for same period?

Agree0 Disagree0

Understood Ed.i will read between the lines. just noticed on twi**er that some sevconian is promising major bad news for the peepul tomorrow. It seems lawyers are checking things now, interesting that a sevconian is saying this. Big rumour at the game was that sneaky and the ceo have had a major falling out over the levels of cost cutting. You heard anything?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I've seen the rumours going around but I haven't been paying much attention to anything all day, sorry. It was my nieces's birthday and I had family stuff to do all day.}

Another thing that bugs me with anyone giving it the "tarnished reputation" card, what ever happened to: "We don't care what the animals say, what the Hell do we care?"

Agree0 Disagree0

Tried to post the article yesterday afternoon but it didn't come through. I think there's an issue when you try and post lengthy threads from an iPhone cause there's been a few times articles haven't made it through! We're only a week in to 2014, but I feel this "Scottish Millwall" will be the tag MSM will run against our support, not just the GB, for the remainder of the year. Similarly to the Scotland's Shame tag they used after the GB unfurled said banner at Parkhead many years ago!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - We need to be aware about copyright infringement HB and giving people free advertising. Having cut and paste articles from elsewhere affects on our Google accreditation so we keep them to a minimum.

No worries Ed, wasn't aware of that. Least I know for the future though!

Well it's a start. After playing in what I thought was second gear for the first half, we kicked it up and came on to a game. Some decent stuff, but four away from home and another clean sheet is hard to moan about.

What I will moan about is Lenny, in his after match pressers, praising Forrest as if he made a huge contribution. Two nice touches first half, with no end product, and a nice run and pass for Commons to score.Hardly running the show. Lenny once famously said Sammi was the type of player that gets managers the sack, If he does not get over this Forrest love in, some people will tire of his constant praise for the player. I have.Does he think none of us know our football?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A agree GJ a don't see what lennon sees in him that's so amazing his comments about after the karagandy game when he said he's one the of best players to have pulled on a celtic shirt for many years was baffling considering some of the players we have had in the last 10/15 years. Everyone has ther oppinion of forrest but i'm with you I think he has more negatives as a footballer more than he has positives and he's 21/22 now so he's not a wee boy that still needs time to learn. Whenever he does something good during a game he's getting praised from the high heavens but that happens what maybe one, twice in every 10 games? that happens. It's not good enough imo far to many games he's a passenger and tbf he's not the only one

Stenhousemuir player brands Ally McCoist a p***k

Stenhousemuir player John Gemmell has branded Ally McCoist a p***k for his comments about Rangers run of fixtures which will see them play 3 away games in 7 days.

He said on Twatter: "McCoist is a p***k. Game against Stenny should be midweek? Why, so we are f****d after working all day while your boys can lie and get a massage for 3 days before checking their £5k a week wages are in?" (

Totally controlled the game and another clean sheet - St Mirren had zero shots on target in 92mins - so well done Celtic on a blistering second half that turned all the previous possession and toil into goals - and a very comfortable win.
The team somehow needs to be reminded to play with a high tempo and slickness, but when they get it right, the game usually takes care of itself?
The ref had a few 'honest mistakes' but that's norm.
Commons, VVD, Mathews were fine as usual (plus Izzy, Forrest and Mulgrew in patches).
Also delighted that Samaras was missing.
However, the biggest disappointment for me is Stokes - even though he scored - and since his new contract he has been very disappointing.
Maybe the probability of pending new arrivals and the well earned break in Turkey will give the Bhoys a chance to up their game for the rest of the season and put in more performances the fans deserve as up until today we were definitely under par.

Finally to the SLY rat-bags that never have a good word for us and are constantly willing us to fail -
especially EBT McCann GIRUY!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I thought stokes was signed again to be used in a player + cash trade or at least I hoped that. Do you think that is a possibility/would happen Ed? Can't see him being at the club much longer.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jan 2014 13:53:23
Celtic are absolute dire to watch. Yet again stokes and Forrest have been rancid this first half. Forrest has no spark, just puts his head down, boots the ball in front if him and runs in to players. Stokes couldn't score in a brothel wi a tonne note tied to his boner! Scary to think what would happen if Commons got injured, or worse - sold!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Before anyone says a word, I'd hardly change my opinion based on a single goal against St Midden, or 2 in his last 16. He's pish, no getting away fi that. Time Atajic and Balde are given a chance!

Hamilton bhoy, you need a cheer up go and watch Sevco for a while and you will see just how good we have got it

4-0 and still moaning lol

Dannybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Hb up front is pish stokes took his goal well but yet again teams play ten men behind ball until they go 1 down then they maybe tried to attack but no shots on target vvd is dealing with that lol but hope all the dire football moaners awww we only won one nil through Xmas games we had like Perth inverness middle of winter is tough games to come through all they games with maximum points and to not concede a goal is good well I think Celtic have played 12 more games than any other team and will get a bit lacklustre at times so be patient can I also say pukki was nowhere near the team today and hey we win 4-0 lol

It was anything but attractive to watch though Danny, as AB said we're playing a 4-5-1 turning in to a 4-3-3 when Forrest and Commons push on in the SPFL. I'm hardly jumping wi joy for Stokes, if he couldn't score against that lot he should be playing for Dumbarton. We've scored 23 goals in 9 games since December, only 5 have came fi a striker. As I said already, if Commons gets injured, or worse - sold, we'd be up rubbish creek! As for atmosphere, I'm still looking for this said thing. That's been about 6 or 7 sponsored silences home and away since the GB haven't been at games, one step closer to the family friendly club the powers that be are striving for! Sad times indeed.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've not been happy with recent performances but think its time to say well done today, 4-0 hit woodwork twice several near misses all round play better. Think hb you should watch a full game then comment without the bitterness that is showing in your recent posts. Here's hoping we can get performances like today on a regular occurrence especially at home.
Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch a full game Jim? I attend a large majority of games, been ****ed with norovirus since Friday hence why I'm not there today, but I watched the game in it's entirety. And it was hard viewing. Some of you may be happy with the mediocrity of recent weeks, but I certainly can't accept the drop in quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

HB have proven many times before he loves the Green Brigade more than Celtis so just ignore and let him get on with it. On today's game, thought we played well. I get the feeling Balde just hasn't got it. Even though he is only getting 15 minutes, he looks clumsy with every touch. Stokes was OK but needs and out and out goalscorer to play with as he used to excel with Hooper. A special word for the defence because despite the opposition, the run they are on is superb. Big VVD is awesome and I think Izzy is back to his very best and has been for the past few months. The guy has so much ability and I think we will get bids for both in this window.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair to HB the first half was dire! Standards have dropped among the supporters if we think that was acceptable. Seen far too much of the football played in the first half of late, especially at home.

Good to see some subs getting more than 2 or 3 minutes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because we play ok in second half people are slagging hb at least he has balls to say what he thinks first half we were dire when he wrote his post so gee him a break we played okay the day took a few chances but tht us turned a corner thot we'd done that after hearts and Motherwell am sorry but one decent performance out of five means **** all tht how u love samaras so much a pay ma season ticket each year and go to away games am a not entitled to an opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers BankieBhoy and Dez1888, at least you guys haven't forgotten the dreadful first half. I'm happy wi the end result, but I'm still worried about Lennon not mixing it up and the lack of goals coming fi our strikers. As for martyc1888's comments about Balde, I disagree. He's had what, one start? Other than that he's never played more than 10-15 mins. To ask Messi or Ronaldo to even turn up for 15 mins would be tough, never mind a young lad who's moved to a new country and still learning the language! I still think Atajic should be getting a start ahead of any other striker at the club though.

Agree0 Disagree0

@11 everyone is entitled to and gets their opinion on this site. A football match lasts 90 minutes and if the first 45 isn't good enough then let's see if the players can turn it round before posting how garbage we are. 4-0 is a step in the right direction and should be taken as such. There is a time to slate the players/manager/board etc just don't think it should be today after a dominant victory. That said feel free to have a different opinion and well done stokes hope its a start of a scoring run.
Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

@13 spot on! The game is 90 mins so why don't you wait the whole game hb and the. You can think and make a point with all the facts, instead of looking like an upset person looking to have a go at the club. The first wasn't the best but it won't be the first one and it won't be the last one, seeing how you watch the game you should know that. Do you think any team has a perfect game all the time? Com on man

Agree0 Disagree0

@14 Because I have an opinion, after 90 mins I still don't feel Forrest or Stokes should even be on the bench at Celtic! Stokes took his goal well, aye, but 2 in 16 isn't good enough yet he's continually picked. As for Forrest, he doesn't bring anything to the squad. One or two good touches in the first half. Other than that he either lays off hospital balls to his teammates, gives it away or goes down for a FK fi a phantom tackle. Can't comment on how the defence or GK yesterday as St Midden didn't have a single shot on target, and very rarely ended up in our half.

Hi Ed, Is there any progress on the situation with Finnbogason? As you reckoned the Fletcher situation was a ploy to make him force a move through earlier? Seen the lad from Red Bull Salzburg get a mention on here he looks to be banging them in would be a cheaper option.

05 Jan 2014 13:32:34
Yet again a flat first half despite hitting the woodwork a couple of times. I never expected anything else. Almost the same team from last game minus Pukki. I don't understand the selection given NL's comments about players being mentally and physically tired. I think NL definitely is. Anyway - Brown, Stokes, Forrest - could take all thre off as they have done SFA. Browns tacle for his booking was laughable, right out of the Sunday pub leagues. And how did Campbell not get booked for his tug on VVD. Pathetic.

Hope we can see some of the new bhoys in the second half. They need game time as much as Mulgrew does.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This is better in the second half. St. Mirren are poor. We should be doing this to all the teams in the lower half of the league. Games won. Get the subs on!

Celtic can not afford Fletcher, they will sign low league players in this window and there is no challenge in Scotland for decent players to come.

I was lucky enough to see Eusebio in his prime playing for Benfica against Celtic in the old European Cup, we all know he was a great player but he was a true gentleman and sportsman, always remember him in 1968 European final against Manchester United game was tied 1-1 Eusebio ran through on goal but the United keeper made a great save to deny him the winner, he APPLAUDED the goalkeeper. His like will sadly, never be seen again. Timalloy

I reckon Celtic should take John Guidetti on loan from Man City. Scored 13 goals in 13 games for City under-18s, 8 goals in 11 games for Sweden under-17s, 5 goals in 5 games for Sweden under-19s, 6 goals in 11 games for Sweden under-21s, had a loan spell at Feyenoord and played 23 games for the First team, scoring 20 goals, the boy knows where the net is.
