Neil Lennon has invited Henrik Larsson to Celtics Training camp in Spain to help the Strikers be more clinical in front of goal If use Remember correctly Larsson Trained with Celtic once and the Following match we won 9-0 with Hooper and Stokes scoring Hat Tricks

Believable4 Unbelievable1

The guy is a legend, Who served Celtic many seasons, scored twice in Uefa cup final and got a CL winners medal with Man Utd.
These players should be in no hurry to transfer out of the Celtic family, a huge global club, CL football for years to come. Some will never play at this level again. Look at Ki at Cardiff.

Charles Green has slammed the SFL for not having a winter break. Green said, " ee it's not right like, we were looking forward t' aving lads at t' training camp in Millport, we had scouted out three B&B's t' move lads in t' and had exclusive use of Millport primary's school pitch. The RFFF had agreed t'pay for ferry then we get told there's no break! It seems they just cant help puttin t' boot in"............green jhedi

Believable6 Unbelievable1

What a compete joke he and ally are, you would think that the owners managers would know what league they are playing in and all the rules and breaks. If they are serious about not knowing about this and I was a supporter I would be ashamed that the ppl runnin the club know nothing about the league they play in. Having another boot at them? Ya like they are the only ones not having a break, has div 3 ever had a break? Why must they always come out with dumb shiat every time Celtic are involved, maybe they are trying to stay in the light so ppl don't forget aboot them, bigger joke of a club now more so then the old one?

Longmuir of SFL agreeing SPL model of two leagues splitting into three divisions only viable way forward.

So if that sets up next season, Rangers would be in div2 which would be new bottom tier with current div3 clubs plus bottom of div2 clubs. So playing the same teams next year. Probably against ten men again lol.

24 clubs in SPL with 18 in SFL.

Then a further year to get into spl2 and a further year to spl1.

However will they make any money with all the dreadful overheads? Will Sally walk away? Will he be sacked cause he's a crap manager?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

The whole split thing is a joke, there is so many things wrong with the idea least of all there will be no spl 2 winners

Agree2 Disagree0

The whole thing is half baked. They need to forget this playing each other four times nonsense. Time to start listening to supporters i think............green jhedi

Agree4 Disagree0

It's about having three SPL 8 team divisions for excitement for second half of seasons, to get punters to games and watch telly. And giving them something worthwhile to play for.
It gets Rankers to SPL a year early.

Agree1 Disagree1

There is no guarantee that it will be up amd runnig for next season, most likely the year after and at that point rangers will be near top of division 2, which will gain them entry to spl2

And the red cards keep flowing. This has become an absolute joke! Seriously how many times have Sevco played 10 men this season. Ian Black is trying to break players legs last week and yet the opposition is getting reds everytime they play Rangers. F*ck off!

Oh and they still cant win convincingly, or even at all today.

Agree7 Disagree1

Most of the media reckoned Sevco would go through the season without dropping a single point, then it was they won't lose any points at home......what's next?

If we can add and not lose any of our so called bigger names then we have done well. I expect a bit of a revolving door scenario in the summer window. I also don't see the point in larger wage packages for players that are nailed on to leave in the summer.

Has anyone heard of this David Leggat, apparantly a journalist and now author who writes 'blogs'.

I would say they are supposed to be football blogs but I doubt this 'man' would know a game of football if it fell in his tea.

In this day and age of obsession, he has taken this to a new level. He would give Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction a run for her money and I can just imagine him having Celtic (and most SPL clubs now) cuddly toys boiling away on his cooker its that bad.

He has wrote some kind of ranting about the meaning of Hogmanay and Christmas. He believes Hogmanay and Ne'erday are more important than Christmas (fair enough).

Now get this, the reason Hogmanay and Ne'erday are not what he remembers is Celtic's fault !

He can still remember the butter flavour of homemade shortbread he used to get when Scotland was a better place and more tolerant.

Maybe he'll explain the Battle Of Bannockburn in his next blog to us all or do we not go back that far, just far enough so that the reason he can't get homemade shortbread is Celtic's fault !

If this 'man' doesn't want to celebrate Christmas, then don't but he has absolutely no conviction in his own words or backbone and celebrates it. I have relatives who are Jehovah Witness and don't so why does he when he can rant on about it whilst having a dig at Celtic. Green with envy and weak is what this 'man' is.

Please tell me Rangers fans don't buy into everything this 'man' writes. He is vile and full of nothing but pure hatred, its just the way he is. Football and religion give him a platform for what is just the way he is.

He has written this blog with a Pro Union and anti-Celtic agenda when in fact all he has done is written a great argument for Scottish Independence and in bringing Celtic into it, made 'himself' look very small and for want of a better word, stupid.

Before anyone asks, I don't believe everything that is written in Pro-Celtic blogs .

Mrs E {Ed007's Note - I'm sure GJ, and many others, will be able to enlighten you about Legless and his alcohol soaked levels of bigotry and absurdity....

Believable5 Unbelievable1

He is a bitter twisted excuse of a human being . He is a bigot of the highest class but lately he has been getting worse . He thinks people inside Ibrox tried to hijack the share issue and are tapping his phone or as he calls them the "enemy within " . He is also the unnamed "journalist!" who was rumoured to attack Channel 4 reporter Alex Thomson .........DH

Agree5 Disagree1

@ Mrs E; Leggat is a joke figure among the newspaper fraternities and pretty much always has been.I first came across him writing for, i think the Sunday People or Sunday Mirror, years ago when he barely disguised his hatred for Celtic. Since "retiring", he has become the "true blue" champion of the feeble minded section of the The rangers support.
When agent Whyte pitched up at ibrox he was his number one supporter. Celtic would "know all about there troubles" as this self made Billionaire rocketed them back to the forefront of European football. When it became apparent agent Whyte was driving them to administration he hitched his wagon to the "true Blue Knights" These guys were the real deal.To a man they would not let the "history and traditions" of rangers die. Through the Miller and Ng fiascos he stood firm with the knights, plus his beloved Sir Cardigan, and was unwavering in his praise for the group. And so to Chuckie! He was a "snake oil salesman" who would strip rangers dry and waltz off with all the cash.It was vital the fans did not support a share issue. Can you guess his stance now? Yup, Green is a hero, Green will not let anybody push The rangers around, Green will go toe to toe with Mr Lawell, who controls scottish football you know, and The rangers will soon be dominant again. He is also punting a rather tawdry book on Scott Symon, a man i know nothing about, and blackening the name of Jock Stein in the process. I would not even say the slurs involved but i would hope the Stein family ask for proof. The man is a total joke.It is however worth scanning his blog for the day he strays into a legal minefield. And he will. The scary thing for me is that he was ever employed by a newspaper, his grammar and punctuation have to be seen to be believed, now he's a blogger he is free to pursue his anti Celtic/Irish agenda...............green jhedi

Agree10 Disagree1

Yep the guy is a nutcase..col

Agree7 Disagree0

Have read the blog before after friends telling me some of the things he said, I actually thought they were exaggerating, the guy is a bigot an clown and I for one learned my lesson not to ever read his nonsense again.
DB77

Agree6 Disagree0

I would seriously question the sanity of anyone who gives this 'man' any crediblity and I'm with DB77 and won't be reading anything it writes again.

I only seen its first 4 blogs, 2 were about the Dens Park 'riots', 1 was this Hogmanay ramble and the other was about Ian Black being to blame for any games Rangers don't play well in.

This excuse for a man is absolutely and obsessively haunted by Celtic, a bunny boiler and feels no love for anything including the club it claims to support. It has no morals, is unscupulous and totally oblivious to right and wrong.

@ Mrs E; Keep your friends close and your enemies closer! I think the measure of his hatred of Celtic/Irish is the fact that he never mentioned the Ibrox Disaster. Mrs E spot on as usual. What I cannot fathom is why they gave Pardew an 8 year contract and his backroom staff. To me that spells out complacency among Pardew, (even if sacked he gets millions) and the players also get in a rut.

Fans are a joke too, i remember being at Newcastle Racing 7 or 8 years back and was in the pub across from the train station waiting on my train. All the Newcastle fans came back and when they found out there were a few Celtic fans in, the mood changed. We were told leave quickly, which we did. I remember walking across the street towards the train station and around a dozen came out and started singing Loyalist songs. Never liked them since.

Uefa chief michel Platini back peddling on his comments re Juventus. Says he was planning a Celtic park visit, well he'd be hosted well regardless, im sure he wouldn't want to visit non Uefa club in fourth tier with not a single year accounts.

See a piece in Scotsman about Celtic playing bad because The Rangers are not in the SPL ... To be honest I think its a lot simpler ...They have been missing a 20 plus goal a season man from Stokes injury ..You can see it ib the goals for ....the goals against havent dramatically changed or the chances created ...Its simply down to transfer windows and a key injury, nothing more .Hooper (if we can hold on to him) and Stokes will soon be banging them in again ... non story from Glen Gibbon..... TTTS

Believable6 Unbelievable3

More sensationalised churnalism. The fact that The rangers are Journeying their way from the third division, and are enjoying it, means nothing. We have suffered at times not having a second out and out front man as you say.In my opinion we lack a bit of guile, in the Lubo mould, to slip quick short passes inside defenders.Even in the games we have dropped points i think the stats are considerably in our favour...........green jhedi

Agree3 Disagree2

Another futile attempt to link Celtic with sevco, ridiculous fiction.
Next they'll be mentioning old firm. Dead and gone already.
Why didn't he write about something more important like the five rangers sectarian bigots alighting at Stirling who assaulted a passenger on the train.
Celtic are 9 points ahead and game in hand against most. Missing nobody.

Morning Ed. I'm a Rangers fan, season ticket holder and I have been to most away games this season also. So I am as big a fan of Rangers as any.

One thing that bothers me, and I am just looking to see what Celtic supporters think, is this whole idea that a Rangers fan is not a real Rangers fan if he shows any kind of interest in Celtic. This is ridiculous. The thing that makes the Old Firm derby the best in world football is the banter between fans who know how to keep it at just that, banter! Rangers fans claiming Celtic are obsessed and vice versa, bore off. Do I have an interest on what's going on at Celtic? Damn right, that's what makes it the biggest rivalry in football. Anyone who claims otherwise is putting on a front to "fit in".

Almost as boring as Celtic fans still calling Rangers sevco, and Rangers fans calling Celtic Pacific Shelf. It's childish and petty. Rangers, despite being in Division 3, are regularly drawing the largest crowds in Scotland. And you all know as well as I do, that we WILL be back. Despite what you might say to look cool in front of your pals, this is as sure as the nose on your face. Celtic have reached the last 16 of the Champions League and beaten Barcelona in the process and will win their respective leagues, as expected, by big margins.

So I can assure all Celtic fans that we are very much alive and well. As is the Old Firm Derby. I for one have missed it immensely this year, and I make no apology for that. It is only a matter of time before we are going head to head again and the one thing that Scottish Football has to be proud of is back and as good as ever.

SC93

Believable0 Unbelievable11

Ah naw mate. Old firm is finish with. Ive no interest what ur new club do. Rangers as the club that played in old firm is gone for good and I don't miss it one bit. Don't come on here being mr nice trying to let on it's the same club it ain't. So good look to ur new club. Bigirishmac.

Agree10 Disagree1

SC93, we know this new club is alive & well in Div 3 but no, you won't be 'back'. The club you speak of in Div 3 have never played in any other league in Scotland other than Div 3.

I also know you have a smashin attendance for a Div 3 club, I complimented you on it in another post so I'm not sure the reasoning behind drawing attention to it again.

There is loads of Scottish fans who will miss the Celtic v Rangers derby but I can tell you who will not, our Manager. He is thriving this season away from the 'pressure' it brought.

I really don't know what you expect Celtic fans to say of your current plight, I really don't. Do you expect us to stop supporting Celtic and go to Ibrox and add to the huge crowd, do you expect other SPL clubs to do that ? That's not the way supporting your team works, when your team leaves Div 3 in the summer..Annan, Clyde, Peterhead ets fans will all still turnout at these Parks to support their team. Does that make them less of a supporter than you or me just because there aren't as many of them as there are Celtic and Rangers fans ?

Mrs E

Agree11 Disagree2

What a strange post. I agree that the baiting is an essential part of club rivalry. I do however notice you use the phrase"Old Firm", sorry but that's over now. As for the Sevco references is that not exactly what you would say is banter? As for Pacific Shelf, believe me mate we just laugh at you with that one.As for your Galactic world record crowds, well done, bet you cant wait till ally parades the attendance cup round ibrox eh? Oh, wait, lets total the figures at the end of the season, who knows there night be a team who has more through the turnstiles paying a bigger average price. As for your team being back, back to where? you have only played in the third division! Missed the rangers games, nah, not really. Of course YOU will miss it, but i think you will find we are fine thanks. CL qualifiers, CL group stage and a MASSIVE last 16 v Juventus has more than filled any gap left by a defunct club. You think Scottish Football is proud of the old games? What part? The sectarian bile? The violence? The terrible atmosphere in the city the day of the game? people on both sides hijacked this game and ruined it.I do not miss it..............green jhedi

Agree11 Disagree1

OP you're a supporter of a brand new club there has been lists posted here that can not be challenged, 28 legal and regulatory reasons why its a new club. Your Ed on the other site refuses to post that list. It doesn't make it go away. Flagrantly breaking insolvency law to use the old club's branding, images, colours, badges, etc.... To then say its the same rangers is very wrong and illegal.

Celtic and Rangers, in the old firm both won battles on the pitch, although the last 11 years were corrupted by rangers illegally fielded players. However, Celtic won the war, end of. Rangers down fallen, deceased and ended. Implosion from within destroyed the club.

This new The Rangers International is a brand new club, finding its feet and a semblance of financial footing in the bottom of football, playing local amateurs. Allowed into SFL without mandatory 4 years accounts.
