The Scottish Premier League has said that Celtic do all they can to eradicate pro-IRA singing.

That rangers supporting Policeman who reported us will be very upset Mrs E. Poor man ;( LOL

Agree5 Disagree2

Regardless of the outcome, this unacceptable behaviour has to stop.

I'd like to take my kids to see a football match without having to listen to any sectarian or political tripe.

This applies to every team across Scotland, not just the old firm.

Just a quick question who is celtics longest serving player still at the club cus I think its sammy but doesn't sound right 2 me {Ed007's Note - Mark Wilson is the longest serving player at the club.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I know he's out on loan but is Darren O Dea not our longest serving player? {Ed007's Note - O'Dea made his senior debut in September 2006. Wilson signed and made his debut in January 2006.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Did you know that without having to check on the net or some other source?? {Ed007's Note - I have a photographic memory ;-)

Agree0 Disagree1

If this is the case can you tell me at which defender touched Sone at the weekend then Ed?? {Ed007's Note - I said I have a photographic memory.....I don't hallucinate!!!}

ED007 I know you are more up to speed than most regarding Rangers and their toing and frowings but I read that Rangers have not yet set date for their AGM which as name suggests MUST be every year.
Why no date?
Heard that HMRC are even more unhappy with Rangers as they are deducting PAYE and NI but NOT passing it over to HMRC. As long as they do not submit written monthly tax returns they are doing nothing illegal, but still not best business practice.
Also in their unaudited accounts they said they were "debt free" but debt is still owed to Whyte's parent company so no the club is not debt free.
Any thoughts on above ED007? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Rangers can change their 'financial' year as such. This would allow time to announce an AGM and enter audited accounts.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Thanks ED007 if I read you right then Rangers can go to 31 march 2012 as the end of their financial year, in order to hold AGM and publish audited accounts.
Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I'm not 100% sure of a deadline date but basically yes.}

Agree0 Disagree2

Where did you hear that HMRC are unhappy with Rangers? Timalloy who knows more than anyone.

Billyboy1

Billybhoy1, check for yourself about Rangers witholding Paye & NI and then ask that question why HMRC are unhappy with your club Timalloy

Ed007 have you heard anything about us being cleared by the SFA over the chanting at the Hibs game? {Ed007's Note - Yes the club has been cleared of all charges:

I have it on good authority that Majstorovic will be given a new deal before christmas and not before time. He has been outstanding in the last five games as has samaras. Even Loovens has looked great. All the boo boys should be ashamed of themselves with sammy mastronovic and loovens back to their best. Lennon knows what he is doing he hasnt sold these players because he knows they will come good., cmon the bhoys. Udinese have said they will be playing a reserve side so we should have a good shout over there it may be snowing but its shining on Celtic Park!

Believable1 Unbelievable6

I smell sh::e!........DH

Agree1 Disagree1

Is your good authority possibly the interview where lennon said he is looking at giving him a new deal??

Agree1 Disagree1

I would still like to see two new CB's bought in Jan for sure. If these two are challenged with any pace they're done for. They have had a few good games but i don't feel assured that these two are our main CB's.

Hi ed, can you help with this bud? When kayal signed his new contract did he have a buy out clause of 8million put in. I was told this today but don't know it was just talk? Cheers...Markiebhoy. {Ed007's Note - The rumoured buy out clause has been quoted at anything from £8m - £15m by some people. If there is one it will be closely guarded for now.}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

8 to 15 mil for kayal no chance mate 3 or 4 mill at most {Ed007's Note - I only said what the rumoured buy out clause was.How do you calculate that figure though? I'd be interested to learn. I am always of the opinion that a buy out clause is set high to ward off potential buyers unless they are silly enough to trigger the clause. Do you think anyone will trigger Ronaldo's 1 Billion euros clause? Inserting a buy out clause of £3/4 million for Kayal would be a rather stupid thing to do, but obviously you have some inside knowledge of the contract that nobody else has been privileged enough to see. I can assure you that the buy out clause (if there is one) for Kayal will be a lot more than £3/4 million.}

Agree2 Disagree1

Ha Ha Well said Ed. its great when you put people in their place. I work hard to avoid it myself but am not always successful! {Ed007's Note - It does help if people actually read a thread before adding to it, otherwise they can end up looking stupid (like the above poster).

Believable5 Unbelievable3

To be fair as a celtic supporter we have got far more bad decisions this year. I guess im just not a blinkered supporter

Sone Aluko blatantly dives to win a penalty on Saturday , he will surely , no must be punished by the beaks with a 2 game ban , but the result will stand , doesn't help Dunfermline in their fight to stay up , blatant cheating and inept refereeing , but as always the beneficiaries are Rangers , off the hook when playing poorly .

Believable8 Unbelievable6

No one esle dive in the league, uk, world... Dry them only to happy to take dodgy goals when it benifits... Its part of modern football unfortunatly.

Agree7 Disagree5

Two names Gary O'Conner and Samaras. Brown said O'Conner dived and still got away with it. Samaras got a player sent off with his play acting. The red card gets rescinded But that never helped ICT on the day they got beat did it. Concentrate on your own team. Do you see how childish it gets when you pick up on one incident then we pick out other ones. Give it a rest.
F

Agree6 Disagree2

Ach its only a wee bit of banter..

With Samaras there was contact & think he was surprised the player was sent off. Neil Lennon himself came out and said he would appeal it if he were Terry Butcher.

I don't have any time for players diving/rolling about/amatuer dramatics no matter what team they play for ~ Mrs E

Agree4 Disagree1

Hardly the same thing , Samaras didn't blatantly dive , he was caught , also the incident didn't result in a goal , the winning goal ! that was the most blatant dive ever , its not even funny , its a disgrace .

Agree1 Disagree3

Aluko's was a dive. Deserves a ban. O'Conner dived, deserved a ban, poor SPL/SFA decision.

As for Samaras it's hard to tell. Never a red card for the ICT player, and I certainly think he milked the force in the challenge but for all we know he could've been poked in the eye as the hand certainly hits the top of his face which always hurts and possibly affects vision for a few minutes meaning he'd need to stay down.

In general he's not a diver although he does spend a lot of his time in the floor (often through slipping or throwing himself into tackles). There's no way he could or should be booked retrospectively. {Ed007's Note - Instead of going back and forth about players, has anyone thought it is just a poor standard of refereeing that is the cause?}

Agree4 Disagree1

Ive played football and a finger in the eye is a sore thing
sammy dinna roll about in agony he just went down with a poked eye

Any chance you could moderate out any reference to "stepping up to the plate" ? It doesn't mean that you produce , only that you take your turn to be scrutinised .And it's a baseball term ,a totally different game(unless you're a Hamilton fan judging by the score) . {Ed007's Note - ?}

Not a transfer rumour as such, anyone agree that the first team players need reduced including the extras loaned out, this year takes the number to around 40 players i think, would like to see o'dea back but including Lustig how many defenders do we have, surely someone has to be moving during the window? anyone have any news?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

If any defenders have to be sold , O'Dea should be top of the list , he's had chance after chance and is just not good enough , El Kaddouri will be sent back to Kiev and flop Hooiveld sold to Southampton .

Agree1 Disagree0

Flop Hooiveld sold to Southampton has been sold to Southampton!!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't know where the 40 figure comes from (though I haven't listed the players and a lot are probably younger...) but I agree we need rid of players with no future at the club. Get them off the wagebill, bring in maybe 2 or 3 good players. Wouldn't mind a keeper, CB and maybe a target man.

So much for the government 'preparing' for the winter weather, not seen one gritter out. Some may think this post is pointless but not for those who travel from out side the city, even coming from Kirkintilloch just outside will be a nightmare for supporters and even worse further north such as Inverness, Dundee and Aberdeen. It's a complete joke

Sone Aluko met with Steven Spielberg today about making a film about his life, The Shameshank Redemption will go into production as soon as Aluko can save up enough money to pay for production and stay as a guarantor for the HP on Davie Weirs red scooter.
