Have seen a few people on here including you Ed saying you wouldn't have Hooper back. I think if we get the chance we should grab it with both hands. I work in a new service in NHS in Glasgow working with the most challenging and difficult clients and lots of staff have left only to return after a year or so. These staff are now some of the hardest working most successful staff we have I think this is down to them realizing the grass is not greener elsewhere. They also have a very good effect on those who want to go try their luck elsewhere hopefully Hooper could have that effect to and maybe others might be so eager to leave for the lower reaches of the EPL

@0p, Nhs. Staff do a great job under trying circumstances, I've just had an operation, in the recovery ward people were complaing about being taken 2 - 3 hours after admittance my question to them was it not worth it. For the service we got, some people will never be happy as for hooper maybe he's happy enough with the lifestyle the money now affords him, i'm 'm not for taking ex players back but him, balde or pukki right now it would be hooper, cheers {Ed007's Note - I hope you're keeping well.}

Just to add my tuppence, I really don't get this talk of Hooper coming back. He's not even been away six months yet!
It would not be a step forward for the club nor the player. I'd rather see him do well at Norwich and get a move to a more successful club - this would do the player, and the increasing reputation of CFC a lot more good than taking him back.
Taking him back would be like saying "ok, we are crap, and so is Gary so let's just be crap together". Boggles the mind of pea.

@Rangobango (love your nom de plume) and THS (hope you are recovering well) like the ED007 I do not want Hooper back.
I would rather trust our scouts to come up with a new talented goalscorer.
But look on the bright side we could have Joe Kinnear scouting for us, I heard he watched a talented goalkeeper at weekend and wants Newcastle to put a bid in, the goalie's name?
KRUL lol Timalloy

Total respect to all NHS staff as I am a regular patient of various depts.
But Celtic need to look elsewhere and learn from the whole Hooper situation. We needed to replace 'like with like' or we would not even be discussing him and Hooper would not even want to come back and admit he couldn't hack it in a more difficult league so soon.

@rangobango + pea .In my own way I was agreeing, my point being we know he can do it, and fits our system, we don't need potential, anyone we get now proven or not is for next year anyway roll on wednesday . What do I know 5 goal thriller haha . ps i'm doing fine, cheers tim and Ed 007

Ths, hope your well. It could have been a logical progression for the club - and it's accounts - to have purchased a certain striker from the continent whom may be in the mould of a similar, more mature Hooper - a Hooper, now. A like-for-like, progressive swap, it could be said. pea

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want Hooper back either, but if he's available, I expect Lenny will.

And just to be clear; I would rather a youngster broke into the team than a multi-million pound import - but is it too much to ask for either-or? pea

Agree0 Disagree0

Having sat through Saturdays game it is so evident that what we need more than anything else is a finisher and if nothing else Hooper was that. I am confident if given time Balde will be that player but to be honest I don't think we will give him the time. so if over the next year we are offered Hoops back at a reduced rate I wouldn't hesitate.

@pea & rangobango, all fans would've loved celtic to have splashed the cash on a proven striker ( money does'nt gaurentee they would fit in in anycase ) but it might have shown more ambition, as for a younster breaking through well young tony did and not only let himself down., but guys like myself who thought in time could be a celtic great, still can, if he listens to good advice, hears hoping he does.

Then realms of possiblity care not for my beliefs, Ths. Bring it on. Hail Hail pea

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't take hooper back, but am losing faith in our scouts there's been more failures than successes lately.

Agree0 Disagree0

Know what they say, you should never go back. Hooper made a choice and should live with it. If he came back then he would always know he did not cut it and would perform accordingly. We made a nice return on a player who was desperate to leave. I wish him well but don't wish him back

Afternoon Edoo7, I was'nt surpised with goals scored after watching the pre-match attempts on goal bloody awful., a point before and after cl games is not to be sniffed at, especially with injuries, I know most fans will say we should win most games but players are only human . A question sorry if it's already been asked, is ibrox being used for the commonwealth games if so will it pass health and safety regs or is the council giving a helping hand, just a thought . {Ed007's Note - It is public money paying for Ibrox repairs and improvements, just as it has been at CP.}

Why post this video then ask the q that you did. Exactly what's going on with pinky? At worst a yellow but not even for me. His/lierse manager has stood up for him. {Ed007's Note - I put the video in for people who might not have seen it. Do you have a problem with that?}

Another day another laugh at sevco story. Its a daily occurrence. Nobody can get away from it. Its nothing to do with being obsessed we just get this in the media every day. Now their nomad financial advisors could go bust. Blind leading the blind, over the cliff. Everyone can see it coming, deadlies shouldn't listen to the nonsense on radio from ex players. It's going to end soon with going bust.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The story breaking on the nomad is clearly related to the fact the Nomad did not give King clearances to the LSE.

There's a huge number of nomads and lots are in the red. It means nothing.

This is a king or McColl strategy being released through Jabba/ KJ. Desperation if this is all they've got.

Agree0 Disagree0

No this is the man now entrusted to set up the AGM date but if he goes out of business it will be pushed back further allowing more money to disappear. So its a win win situation for all and the best bit is I can now set up a works sweepstakes on who will go bust first and what month their financial adviser or The Rangers my entry will be January and The Rangers what's everyone elses

rangobango

Agree0 Disagree0

The deadlies would have had their AGM by 26th October but Paul Murray went to court to get it delayed. Now it's delayed they want it ASAP again? Paul Murray also kept pushing in the media for Mathers and Park to leave the board, now they've left he's totally shut up.
I'd be very surprised if Paul Murray, McColl and Malcolm Murray and King don't know who is behind Margarrita and Blue Pitch. Surely bomber brown knows? Didn't bomber tell everybody publicly they'd all go crazy if he told them who was behind it all? Sounds like Craig Whyte to me.
Why don't they show the name on the various titles deeds?

Just had a look at the Bergovic goal against the Holy Goalie on Youtube. Bit of a fluke assisted by the wind and Boruc's momentary lapse of concentration, but it happens occasionally. What got me was the sad individuals who had to write comments that Boruc was a typical Celtic goalkeeper or Celtic reject! And they say we are obsessed with them? Hail Hail
