Just seen Sally on itv moaning about not getting a winter break and that all clubs should be treated equally, why hasnt he said something before now?was he not in the msm saying that he wanted what the fans wanted div 3 and work their way up, did he not even know what happens in the lower leagues.Another thing what happened to the predictions about the dark side having dirt on Celtic and it being released on 31st Dec and the other story about the SFA being corrupt, the death of Scottish football, going through the 3rd division unbeaten and Celtic not picking up a point in our CL group, jeeze! think i will just call them the Mayans as they both cease to exist and their predictions are pish (rant over) Macca.

Believable17 Unbelievable10

McCoist is a jester. He's never a professional manager. Putting out the second most expensive squad in Scotland against part time local lads. Div2 will show him up. Why SPL refs in fourth tier? It's a form of favouritism therefore corruption.

Agree14 Disagree10

Yeah and Green is gonna fly em all off t'marbella or t'dubai.
5 star hotels. 5 star food. For a zero star club with zero money.

Agree15 Disagree9

The SFL and SPL are two different competitions run by two different organisations. Sevco really do make a lot of noise from the very bottom of the SFL. Is it going to be this for the next three years? Pipsqueeks!

Agree13 Disagree9

Macca he knows exactly why the SFL clubs don't get or WANT a winter break, i've heard it explained more than once so I can guess he has to !!

Agree12 Disagree8

McCoist is just playing to the knuckle draggers as usual. He actually gives me the boke looking at his fat slimy face. I know Lennon is nae Brad Pitt but McCoist always looks like he has just left a polis ID parade, sweating like a pig and looking heavy flustered

Agree12 Disagree7

McCoist really is the ugliest thing on telly. I can't think of anything uglier.
At least the newspapers and the odd website does a photoshop job on his image to clean him up..... Even the bun had him with a full head of fair hair lol.

Agree5 Disagree4

Being a newbie manager of a newbie club in the fourth tier, he doesn't realise that SPL clubs have played far more games mid week with all their cups and euro commitments. He'll learn someday maybe.

Agree4 Disagree2

He did look like a tramp, his training gear he had in looked like his kit when he played, washed out and stretched to the limit,
Ska bhoy

Agree4 Disagree3

Tried to post earlier that it reads like our manager is not as ugly as yours. Lol!

Don't think ally knows all the other teams are part time footballers and have jobs during the day? Where as he is a full time pie eater? Cmac

What a total embarrassment McCoist looked on TV sports news tonight. Looked like an old balding fat tramp at MP. Then on camera greeting about no winter break in SFL. What a laugh, yeah Green is gonna finance all of the squad in a hotel somewhere warm.
Forget about SPL Sally, its not your game. You opennly stated you wanted to be in div3 so enjoy.
Guess Sally had no news on all the pre contracts being signed up. And surprised he didn't condemn the rangers supporters sectarian gang attack on the train to Stirling. Five on one.

Believable13 Unbelievable10

That guy is never going to win the SPL. I'm very sure of it. He'll also never therefore get into Europe. Three years to SPL if they win their way. A fourth year in the SPL to win it, at earliest.... Probably several years to win it....he's not a good enough manager.

Is it just me or has any one noticed the amount of stupid disagrees lately? I mean you gotta be one sad individual to troll a page to just click disagree without any input. Do we smell the work of a bitter Sevconian?.........green jhedi

Believable17 Unbelievable18

04 Jan 2013 17:07:41
GJ ah the disagrees, I am used to them as every post I have my usual "followers", but I 100% agree why only press disagree, if they feel so strongly post a reply in which we can all discuss, but then the average Sevconian has trouble typing as his knuckles are usually bruised and bloody from dragging them around all day.. lol Timalloy
PS so to my expected "disagrees" go on be brave type a wee response

Agree12 Disagree15

Jhedi. no pal your right, they say were obsessed, but in reality, it's them, but why wouldn't you be obsessed if your team was playing in the scottish nobody gives a f*** league and your, not rivals, once were, your betters are in the champions league last 16 . the top 16 in europe, chelski, and man city went out . yes they are hurting and one way of protesting is via the disagree button. it means f*** all apart from being a sad bas**** . shammy

Agree7 Disagree11

GJ the sevco bit is getting boring now could you at least substantiate the name with a valid argument. As for the disagrees just look at the Rangers site a disagree for your very own Miko who posted about the 66 deaths at a football match. The people out there from both clubs will stop at nothing to get a response.
Channel 4's Alex Thompson stated yesterday on his blog all clubs have an underclass the bigger the club etc and mentions your own club as well, these are the people who will continue to press disagree to get that response.
Happy new year by the way to you all PB

Agree4 Disagree11

Sevconians totally obsessed with all things Celtic. Gazing up from their dirty fallen wee spot at the Glory of the mightier than mighty Celtic. You can only dream lads that your new sevco5088 team may eventually in three or four years gain initial entry to the SPL. But we won't allow that name, those badges and that strip in..... Not after the old historical Rangers cheating for 11 years the SPL competition.

Had a full on "discussion" with my ex bear pals the other night about all this
"club is now debt free" malarkey. Told them the only reason they are
"debt free" is because of all the small businesses and charities they shafted.
I also said if they still had all their "history" then why does their club not pay off some of their debt from £20m raised.
I then realised my arguments were doomed to failure as to put "Sevco" and
"Fairness" in same sentence was a complete non starter. Timalloy

Believable13 Unbelievable17

The debt free stuff is Chuckies greatest cover up Tim. They owe him plenty for the purchase but i seem to remember him saying the loan will not kick in for three years but interest will be charged. The published accounts will be interesting...........green jhedi

wee mcginn scored again . did you see his free kick . it went about six feet out then curved back into the postage stamp top corner. it was brazillianesk. i think we punted that wee guy without giving him a chance .. shammy

Believable5 Unbelievable14

I always fancied McGinn as a player. I dont think he fitted in to the way Lenny see's his team developing though. Maybe a bit like Sheridan, who needed to leave to improve, the two of them have upped their game. I think it might be more about their work off the ball than on it............green jhedi

Agree2 Disagree14

04 Jan 2013 14:34:21
@Green Jhedi, I agree with you about McGinn, I feel we got rid of wrong Irish player, McCourt should have went, I feel he is hampering the progress of young McGeouch as he is not getting game time because of Paddy. Mccourt has had his time, ship him out and give young Dylan more game time. Timalloy

Agree7 Disagree12

If Mcourt plays brilliant for whoever he goes to everybody will say we should have kept him got rid of xyz player etc etc its what they do here that counts and both sheridan and mginn where average with some glimpes of potential ..deep river bhoy

Agree3 Disagree0

McGinn and Sheridan were shipped out too early in my opinion . They have developed into fine players and maybe, like Mulgrew before them, could return to where they really want to be, .Hail Hail

The bottom line is none of them would get a first team place for us . They've both found their level of football ......DH

the s*n today . only three pictures but when you consider the tackle lasts about one second, thats frame by frame evidence of stevensons tackle on mcpake . the day before when the the rangers assassin black assaulted the annan player . nothing no newspaper photographer caught it . strange? we cause a wee bit bother at dundee and it's in the rags for three days . mounted baton charges and eight arrests at ibrokes two days earlier dont get a mention ? is it geting worse, or is it just my imagination.. shammy

Believable12 Unbelievable15

I will never even look at the S*n online the dens coverage struck me as sinister by them. They were waiting for a chance to jump on celtic with a negative story no matter how trivial it was. The fact that lot and a certain other red top sales are plummeting tells us a lot

Agree6 Disagree14

No imagination problems mate, it's happening before your eyes. The MSM will not allow anything to derail the ibrox feel good factor at the moment. Look at the share issue, lots of real questions should have been asked but not up here i'm afraid.............green jhedi

I have just be looking through our squad and can't help thinking we are carrying some dead wood. Firstly, apologies about the length of this post

In terms of numbers we have Matthews, Izzy, Ambrose, Wilson, Mulgrew, Lustig and Rogne. Ambrose will be off to the African Nations and Wilson is facing a suspension so that could cause problems. I think Rogne is decent and would have been potentially excellent if he could stay free of injuries, but that seems unlikely so I think he should be sold. That would leave us a bit short at the back. Don't know much about the Israeli lad so I will have to reserve judgement. I still feel we could be doing with another centre half. Hopefully the scouts come through again with another gem.

The midfield is a position where we are more than covered. I think we could bring a few quid in on some of the fringe players. We are carrying too many players in midfield with Brown, Commons, Ledley, Kayal, Wanyama, Forrest added to the fringe players like McCourt, McGeouch, and Twardzik. I would cash in on the £5m being bandied about for Kayal. I would even consider selling Brown (might get a bit of criticism for that but it's my opinion). Although Brown has matured (slightly) and been good in some games this season he is also injury prone and has never lived up to the billing or price tag in my eyes. I would also let McCourt go to Palace and try and bring in a decent playmaker. I think a lot of our midfielders are similar in style and we need something more creative. I think Ji-Sung Park could do a job for us if we could get him on loan. Don't know if he is injured or fallen out of favour at QPR but he has an eye for a pass and the wages may be affordable. I know he doesn't really fit the signing policy but he would bring great experience and had done it at the highest level with Uinted.

Lastly, we have six strikers, Hooper, Sammy, Watt, Stokes, Lassad and Miku. We need a clear out here. Give Hooper the money he wants and get rid of Stokes, Lassad and Miku. Bring in Jordan Rhodes asap and then try and sign a plan b striker in the mould of Big Jan.

Believable3 Unbelievable12

I agree there are players who need to be moved on.Rogne, for me, will move. The player wants more game time but has this constant battle with injury.I think this guy could have been special but his injury record suggests he will miss as many as he plays. I dont worry too much about centre half as Lustig and Charlie can fill in there, and i think the boy Fraser is highly rated by the coaching staff.
Midfield is another story. Paddy, for all his talent, has stopped going past people and will move i am sure. Sell Kayal? not so sure there as i think he has shown signs of getting back to the player he was. Sell Brown? Not for me.he now has matured into a captain and has grabbed games by the neck this season.Twardzik is good cover for left side but has dropped out of the picture lately, so maybe a story there. Park! You gotta be kidding. Those days have gone thank god.Why drain money out of the club with no chance of a return?
As for the strikers, Miku and Stokes will go i think, followed by Hooper. That leaves Lassad, Sammi and Watt, i think Lenny will look to get another one in. With the Israeli CB looking a done deal a little bit of tinkering might and good buys in the summer would do me...........green jhedi

Agree1 Disagree9

I think your on the money GJ, but I also think Kayal will stay, he will come good again and he is needed to bed in our new guy if he signs.

Five Rangers fans assault a 46yo passenger on a train Glasgow to Alloa, after the Queens Park game. Singing vile sectarian bigoted songs then violent assault. Police hunting them.

http://m.stv.tv/news/208305-train-passenger-attacked-after-confronting-men-over-sectarian-songs/

Hopefully msm will highlight incident until violent offenders captured. Hopefully CEO and manager at Ibrox will come out and condemn them and ask support to help ID them.

Very brave move by KPB & AC Milan by walking off the pitch today. Its things like this that will make people realise it is unacceptable to abuse players due to their race.

However i must admit groups like the black lawyers association do not help integration in life.

Believable6 Unbelievable10

I detest discrimination of any kind.Milan should now be the example for every club in the world on how to deal with this vile problem.Great point about the various Black Associations.Surely that is discrimination? You could not, rightly so, have a White lawyers or a White Police officers association. Always puzzled me why their needed............green jhedi

**PLEASE READ** Hooper hasnt been offered a 25k a week contract , he has been offered 20k a week ..far less than Brown , Ledley and Samaras . By doing this Celtic want to push him out and cash in on him while hes hot news...In the summer his value is 2-3m with only 1 year on current contract.
People with a brain think this through....
1.Would you be happy to be 4th top earner in a team you are basically the best player ?
....NO
2.Would you be tempted by a 30k+ offer from England if Celtic were offering 20k
....YES
3.Champions League is a major plus for Hooper but in reality this year Celtic only have 2 games remaining.
If moved to England could play Man utd , Arsenal , Man City , Liverpool , Chelsea most weeks
4.His England chances are far greater if he scores in Premiership ...shame but true.

Now give the kid a break and pray Celtic offer him parity with other players then he'll stay.
InTheGame

Believable4 Unbelievable14

Brown is the club captain, usually the highest paid player.Ledley cost nothing and had other more attractive offers than Scotland and Sammi is a proven international, as the other two are, and has signed two contracts.Hooper played for Scunthorpe and was, to my knowledge, being pursued by many other clubs. Dont forget £20k plus Bonuses and sponsorship as well.Having said that i dont think £25k is that outrageous, although i heard his agent wanted £40k.As for the England thing, choose the wrong club and he could be in the championship. If the boy goes he will go with my thanks and best wishes, but i do feel he is being badly advised...........green jhedi

Agree5 Disagree7

1 & 2. I would not say Hooper is our best player and in my opinion its not about the money anyway. He wants an England Cap and knows playing in the EPL increaes his chances unfortunately.

3. In reality its 11 v 11 and we maybe the underdogs but we were also that against arguably the greatest football team the world have ever seen so in reality the last 16 games of the CL have still to be played and there are no names in the hat yet for the final 8.

4. see 1 & 2.

Mrs E

Agree4 Disagree7

I have been hearing he is been offered less than other players but if its money then ki is example, he's on 35k a week.picks the wrong club though and he will make a big mistake and end up in championship.hes a good player and wouldn't like to see him go however with contracts talks just coming to a stop then could see him go in this window, hope not though.

Agents are the biggest problem these days, I spoke to a friend who knows a agent (MR) and he just lost out on being hoppers agent and was raging as if he got him he alone would have made around 100k.same with a new contract these guys are looking for another big cut.

I would be surprised if the wall or hooper get a starting place In the England squad as I'm sure people on their home labs will be telling them get down the road and you will get the start
