Put up a few Paddy McCourt goals there ed. Enjoy this animal and wonder how great he might have been if he was fit.

Anybody think eboue might get a run oot the Mora? I know BR said he wanted to bed him in first but that's been a few weeks now he's been with the squad.

Hopefully really keen to see him make an appearance, but probably not.

So for tomorrow's game, would you risk Dembele or give him the extra week to train and recover properly, same with Rogic and Armstrong. We do not need to take a chance with any player as we are so far ahead points wise, even a (whisper it) defeat would not even put a dent in our lead, ok undefeated record would go but we have already beaten the Lisbon Lions, no for me it is a no brainer, give the injured guys further week to get back to full fitness.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

{Ed007's Note - I wasn't impressed with the tactics the other night, Timbo. A Celtic team playing 4-3-3 at home without a recognised striker in our starting line-up worried me. If you're going to play with one up front as a rule you need 3 strikers, even if the 3rd is a youngster with a bit of experience and if you play with 2 up there you really need 4 in your squad.
If Dembele is fit he must play tomorrow imo even for an hour.}

04 Feb 2017 19:13:08
I kinda disagree, to a point, Ed. BR got it spot on tactically to stop Aberdeen playing their game. If the guys need time to recover better than current fitness levels then I say give it to them. I don't see any threat from anyone in this league.

Agree2 Disagree2

{Ed007's Note - We shouldn't need to go out and stop Aberdeen playing, it should be them trying to stop us over-running them. And it t wasn't a tactical decision to play without recognised striker.}

04 Feb 2017 21:16:49
I thought aberdeens game was to sit behind the ball n try no get humped. though am sure mcinnes wid tell u different.

I think against aberdeen and hearts with us missing the top two strikers I feel he just tried to get as many of our better performers on the park in some form of formation instead of playing a ciftci or a young guy like aitchison.

04 Feb 2017 22:23:30
The biggest miss was having no central attacking players fit at all. The two cf and rogic out Armstrong could of pushed up a bit if he was fit. I wouldn't of wanted to had to chase that game if aberdeen had scored early.

With that in mind rglen I think Henderson is due a start. Some great touches and passes on the 2 recent games he has come on, not to mention he can whip in a very tasty ball.

Two things kinda bothering me, parking around Celtic park is at present a nightmare have to be there for 6.15 to have a chance of getting a parking spot for a 7.45 kick off.

now there's talk of not being able to park within a mile of Celtic park meaning coming out of Celtic park with kids after evening kick off then having to walk a mile in all sorts of weather then travel home now nightmare what about elderly supporters or young kids I think it's shocking 😡

My next point drinking on supporters bus you can drink at the ground, in pubs next to the ground or traveling by car (driver apart) so what's the problem with drinking on a bus, you can drink prior to getting on the bus and even after getting off the bus in a bar.

I think it's time we're treated like respectable adults who should be allowed go and watch football and enjoy the game, how many supporters bus announcement were made during the hearts getting moved I think it's getting worse in this country rant over just wonder if any of you guys are thinking the same.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed007's Note - That's the main reason I don't get to games mate, the parking is atrocious, it's some trek and believe me, it's no fun trying to get along road with crutches before or after the game. I've thought about applying for a disable parking pass (although I think ot can take years to get one) but to be fair there guy's in wheelchairs etc a lot more deserving than me of one.
And even though I don't drink I totally agree with you about letting folk have a refreshment on a bus. It's just down to jobsworth arsehole coppers. #ACAB

I'm sitting watching rugby the guys are all having a drink inside whilst watching the game I know it's a different clientele but we shouldn't be perceived as all being mindless yobs if you want a small refreshment on a bus on the way to a football game I think it should be allowed (I sound like a bevy merchant which I'm not ) it shouldn't be one rule for one sporting event and another for another sporting event, back to the parking it's a nightmare at present and it's going to get worse why shouldn't we be allowed to park at a football ground I think we should be treated as human beings and not some mindless uneducated thugs.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - Well the rugby set are seen as a better class of citizen than us football rowdies but what about morons that go to the darts, wasn't there a riot at them in Glasgow a couple of years ago? Where was the government enquiry into that?
And the thing that really annoyed me about it when I did drink was if I went and sat with my dad in his cosy executive seat I could have a few pints before and after the match plus I could neck 2 at half time, whereas if I sat with my mates it was a coca cola cup full of tonic or vodka in your Bovril. I've noticed now they're opening the Kerrydale Suite before matches for fans to go and get a drink - it's still illegal to enter a stadium while drunk or under the influence of alcohol, maybe it depends how much money you have. The only fear is would the minority abuse it, there's nothing worse than having a slevering mess in your ear at football if you're sober - and I used to be that slevering mess btw lol
If you ever get the chance get over to a Borussia Dortmund game or if you fancy a real party St Pauli and you'll have a fantastic experience mate.}

I was cautioned by said jobsworth on my way to the game on Wednesday as I had taken the empty can of beer from the car to put in the first bin I saw, three plain clothed police jumped out of a unmarked van and searched the four of us because I was carrying an empty can of tennants,

three 40 year old guys, two of whom own their own business and two of whom have respectable jobs being searched like a bunch of junkies, if they had been there two minutes earlier they would have seen us coming out of the 30 grand motor parked round the corner , we actually found it hilarious at the time, which seemed to make the local constabulary even angrier but looking back it was a disgrace. sorry rant over .

Been to both those German games Ed, and a couple others. I'd recommend any football fan to go to one, it's like a cross between a footy match and a concert really. I think it's a cultural thing. Even in a continental city centre on a night you don't see people slumped against kebab shop doors all over the place. Then there is the sub-culture which gets associated with us foitball fans here in the UK. It's always the minority that spoil it and tar others with the same brush.

As for the parking thing, Da1888, totally nonsensical if you ask me.

04 Feb 2017 15:55:52
Aye totally agree why shouldn't we be allowed to enjoy the game after working hard all week, it's 2017 parking shouldn't be an issue anyways thanks for your replies just wonder how many other fans feel regarding these matters.

ED the disabled parking pass are no longer distributed by the club but by the CDSA (celtic disabled supporters association) on a game by game basis.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks for that info mate, I'll look into that.}

I only looked at the chat briefly and seen it. I'd never heard of a coon hound in my life! Glad he cleared up the meaning! I thought he must live on a farm on the edge of a council estate in the UK when the Mrs had her gun out haha.
