Alright Ed, have you heard anything about the planned museum that was meant to be built being postponed?I heard they are supposed to be putting the money towards increasing the main stand and building the in-house sports science lab instead.Considering they are struggling to fill the stadium just now then I think the museum would have been a better option.What do you think?

{Ed007's Note - I have not, JB, I've been really busy elsewhere today. I was looking forward to having a museum so if that's true I'm very disappointed with the news.}

The museum would have been a huge success as we have so many unique triumphs, tragedies and exploits to recall - not to mention the amount of famous characters associated with Celtic.

Hi ed,

Thinking about transfers in january, do you think any of that players on loan will get signed? Also is berget still at celtic? Do we have a option to cut loan contracts short?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Apart from Guidetti I'd be surprised to see any the other loanees sign, we don't need to wait until January if there is an option to buy. Whether any the loans can be cancelled depends on the contract, Berget is still here but his loan only runs to January anyway.}

I think we may also try and sign Tonev on a permanent deal if he keeps up his recent performances.

Our midfield deficiencies were really shown up against Salsburg - Only Brown and Johansen are good enough . I'd keep Mulgrew as cover and punt Stokes, Kayal and Ambrose . Izzy could do a job as left mid if he had a decent Left back behind him .

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I wouldn't punt any of the three mentioned, until I was sure I had better players in to replace them . It's easy to talk about punting players when you don't have any responsibilities of how we manage without them .

Has the Championship become more of a one horse race than the Premiership - regardless of yes/no, the team currently in 2nd place have defeated all 3 Premiership Clubs they've faced this season. The defeat v Kilmarnock last weekend was quite convincing.

This shows how badly the standards in the Premiership have dropped with some Clubs and does worry me that Celtic are not head and shoulders above this.

This is not a go at Ronny, just an overall observation (although I shouldn't need to justify it)

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Most of us expected Kilmarnock to lose - as they always do and maybe McCall's Motherwell, but St Johnstone did surprise me a bit.
There has always been a tendency for teams to vary performances and players to raise their game in Scotland, depending on opposition and tournament but the fans of these clubs settle for this and never feel cheated - in fact they expect it.
There is no doubt whatsoever the standard in Scotland has dropped as we have zero impact in Europe apart from Celtic every season and there seems very little difference between the top half of the Championship and three quarters of the Premiership.
As for Celtic, I have posted on here many times about the decline in standards and quality and poor old Ed 007 must be sick of my moans. so I will stop right there.

Agree0 Disagree0

You could possibly turn that argument on it's head though by saying that celtic have defeated the team at the top of the championship twice convincingly this season but have struggled against most of the spl teams. Markie

Agree2 Disagree0

Call me paranoid but the three teams from the spl are managed by 2 former rangers players and a former linfield player nuff said lol

Imo I think it's more teams in the premiership are still bottling it going 2 ibrox were as the championship clubs aren't. Inverness could go away and beat anyone in the premiership including us they have done it before but when they went 2 ibrox this season they wer abysmal same as st johnstone and killie

Agree1 Disagree0

Mrs E, small clubs like Rangers will raise there game for the Premiership Teams

This happens all the time does it not?

Agree2 Disagree0

With Sevco raising their game to play against teams managed by former Rangers players who in turn make sure their teams are fully primed to make life as difficult as possible for Celtic, it's no wonder that Scottish football is the laughing stock of Western Europe .
Men with the interest of one team running Scottish Football means we will never grow or become a force in European Football. Mrs E . you surely know how the new club won the games against SPl clubs this season .

Agree1 Disagree0

Mrs E I have said it several times. At this stage we should be blowing all local opposition out of the water and be more constant but that is not the case. We are good but that's it (imo). Players talking about facing Spurs. get real, they will demolish us. I'm not being pessimistic i'm facing reality. Our league is holding our potential back and because of geographical we are stuck with it. When the undead get back in, as they will unless really mess up financially, we should be concerned.

I have voiced on here that I don't like Biton, and I would like wee Henderson to be given a chance. If Biton performs like he has in the last couple of games and continues at his current level I will be delighted to say I was wrong about him. Really hope so as we need more quality beside Broony. Markie. Only 1-0 but another clean sheet and a better performance. Keep it going bhoys!

My mate is a big gers supporter (I know, but I feel like I'm performing a sort of social service) and he has just cancelled his vacation to Hawaii. He heard that when you arrive they greet you with "Aloha" Hail Hail
