Just a thought. Now that the SFA have decided Lenny being caught on a microphone will face a charge what will happen if a player, during a game is caught out? The precedent has now been set. This compliance officer nonsense is a farce. The fourth official never mentioned it, so it would have come from a complaint from the public. The only thing more ridiculous is Lunny upholding it. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - It's not as if it was a foul mouthed maniacal rant at a member of the press all clearly caught on camera during an interview was it?}

Rangers hit with player legal bill
4 April 2013 Updated

Rangers are facing a legal bill after a panel judged they should pay the expenses of five former players they were in contract disputes with.
Sone Aluko, Kyle Lafferty, Steven Naismith, Jamie Ness and Allan McGregor all quit the club when it was placed into liquidation last year.
The players refused to transfer their contracts from the old company to the new one, which the club challenged.
The panel says Rangers should pay all legal bills relating to the dispute.
The panel was established and facilitated under the Scottish Football Association's Articles of Association after agreement was reached by the club and the players over who should represent each side of the dispute, with a chair appointed to review both side's claims.
However, the SFA is not directly involved in the arbitration process and has no influence over any decisions taken by the panel.

Next up Sandaza. The amateurs at Mordor just don't understand employment law.

Lennon is getting a ban for calling a player a Fan*y and the SFA thinks that it's so bad he deserves 3 games as this is totally unacceptable.

Well they have big problems ahead as they are currently looking a sponsor for the SPL,
Now they have to look for a Sponsor for 1st, 2nd & 3rd as they must be planning to bin the sponsor from IRN-BRU as they have the fanny adverts, so they must distance themselfs from anyone involved with these comments, they can't have it both ways.

If they are so against these comments then they can't stand by and take money off a company and have it's support.

Was just wondering, did Rangers rip up both of Fran Sandaza's contracts?

Sandaza should never have been sacked.

Verbal or written warning for first offence.

No UK employer can treat an employee like that.

Employers usually have illegal articles in their contracts of employment, such as gagging orders. But these don't stand up against freedom of speach laws etc. the law comes before an employment contract.

An employee can discuss his terms and conditions with whoever he likes. A contract that says he cannot is an illegal contract.

The truth is employers can only rely on the discretion of employees not to talk about the company or their contracts.

Goncalves is punished for a dive with a two match ban however, the resultant penalty stands and the result at 1-1 steals two points from Celtic and gifts ST Mirren two points.

The rules need changing.

In addition, if referee madden believed izaguere had tripped Goncalves in the box, why wasn't izaguere red or yellow carded?

The truth now shows Goncalves dived with no touch on him, outside the box.

One player two match ban for two points. Well worth doing every week. Well we all know now that Goncalves is dishonest.

I have a genuine question.

Celtic supporters are constantly claiming that Ranges are dead. You say the Old Firm is no more. But I come on here every so often as I enjoy the OF banter from both sides among the sane folks, and at least eight of every ten posts on here, the Celtic page, refers to Rangers in some way or another (be it "Oldco" or "Newco", or both). So there's my question, why? Why are you so obsessed with talking about 'The Rangers' as you call them? It doesn't add up to me. If you truly believed Rangers were dead and that the Old Firm went with them, surely you would have no interest in a "new club playing in the third division".

I'm genuinely interested to hear the thoughts of the respectable Celtic fans on this page. Not the people who care more about talking about Rangers than they do their own club. You know who you are, and you aren't Celtic supporters.

So please, enlighten me!

What is it with ex Celts wanting Rangers fast tracked into the SPL. Add Paul Hartley to that growing snivelling list. DH

I know there will be quite a few changes this summer with wanyama, Ledley and hooper likely to leave. I would like to see NL making a season loan bid for josh mceachran with an option to buy. I would also attempt to bring Islam feruz and benteke with both likely to be sent out on loan!

do you think who ever finishes 2nd, which looks to be motherwell, will have a better chance next year of closing the gap or maybe bring in a few decent players to up the quality of there team and the league so they may be able to compete in the europa league group stages etc?
