Just in ed. Not seen any of the footy. Good result tonight.
Poor crowd though eh.
What was that M'Villa fella like ?
I'm always seeing his name bandied about on various pages. He got his marching orders as well I see.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - I was looking forward to seeing him mate but TBH wasn't impressed after the way all the big teams salivate over him.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

One for U8d then.. ;-/
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Well he won't go to LFC, he is looking for European football on a regular basis.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I suppose he should sign for A'Villa really.
I'll get me coat..
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - *groan*}

Agree0 Disagree0

Come back Timalloy, all is forgiven.
Lol. Night la.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Night mate, take care.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed was the guy Hadji related to THE Hadji?? I'm in dispute with my wee bro over this one so if you could settle this for us it would be appreciated bud. There's a tenner and a punch in it between us so hope i'm right!!
CB67 {Ed007's Note - Do you mean Gheorge Hagi that played with Real Madrid and Barca?? No, Youssuof Hadji is Moroccan, Hagi is Romanian.. If I have the wrong players let me know and I will sort it out. Although Hadji from tonight is the younger brother of Mustapha Hadji that played for Coventry. You confused me a bit with the THE Hadji bit but I hope I cleared it up. At my age THE Hagi is Gheorge lol.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I think he's referring to Diouf??

Agree0 Disagree2

Yes ya dancer, I was right cheers Ed. The wee bro's getting a kicking (a brotherly wee kickin, no nasty like). He said it was the one who played for Barca (looked a wee bit like him tho). Been a great nite so happy all round, love the site bud what I would'nt do to have your job you lucky bugger!! I hope you know just how lucky you are Ed?

CB67 {Ed001's Note - I keep telling him he is lucky, I mean what more could anyone want in life but the chance to work with me??}

Agree0 Disagree1

Hmmm not quite what I was getting at !! LOL ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Referring to Diouff if I was I'd just say that fanny!!

Great result 2nite ,Wanyama and Kayal were outstanding as was Matthews who when Izzy is fit will be right back 4 years to come.I just hope we don't get anyone coming out and saying "we've turned the corner".Just take each game as it comes starting with Motherwell.And I wish the captains armband would stop being passed round like a nude book give it to kayal he seems to relish wearing it........DH

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Has noone else noticed whoever wears the captains armband gets injured FACT ! It's happened to every one who has worn it.
Spooky eh ;}

Good result for Celtic tonight, credit were it is due. But, Rennes were poor. They have been hyped up and made out to be better than they actually are.

Does any Celtic fan think Rennes is a good team? They didn't have any urgency whatsoever.

Celtic have every right to be over the moon with the results, considering the form they are on, but the next two teams certainly going to be as bad Rennes......

Again, credit were it is due...well done Celtic,

TonyTheGer {Ed007's Note - You can only beat what is put in front of you mate.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

That is true Ed. Ain't denying that and certainly ain't taking anything away from Celtic. Celtic deserved the win.

Just thought Rennes were made out to be superstars. Thought they were, not so much poor, just not as good as made out to be.

TonyTheGer {Ed007's Note - Some of their players, Yann M'Villa are regarded amongst the best young players in Europe.}

Agree3 Disagree0

On the counter attack they were very dangerous we needed the hooper goal just to make sure. Don't try and take anything away from a fantastic performance from a team that had to produce (in Europe too) Tony the Ger!!
See we've got Europe, the league cup and the League to play for buddy bhoy ;)
Nah you gave us credit so I appreciate that bud not too many of your "pals" would be so generous LOL!
Cheers Tony
CB67

Agree5 Disagree0

CB67.

Again, I ain't taking anything away from Celtic. I just thought Rennes were out to be better than they were, that is all.

Yes, you may have Europe to "play for" but let's be realistic here....Celtic won't progress to the next stage. There may be a long way to go before the season is over, but Celtic will drop more points, two possibly three points at the weekend.
I can only hope lol.

TonyTheGer

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Tony (I'm actually glad there's a bluenose who I can have a bit of banter with ). I'd like to think after tonight that we should be fine to beat Well on Sunday for sure. All the players know just how huge Sundays game is for them,the season,Lenny and of course the fan's! I honestly would like to think that we have enough quality to beat Well without too many probs, and theres still a long way to go for the season, 3 more old firms and your boys will defo have a bad patch thats for sure. All teams do look at Chelsea this season even Man Utd v City was amazing. So lets just give it a few more months before anything can be determined.
Your a gent thou Tony, I appreciate it Tony.Cheers
Hail Hail
CB67

Agree1 Disagree0

CB67,

I honestly think Celtic will take tonights performance to fir park on Sunday and beat Motherwell. Obviously, I hope Mother take points off Celtic, but it would be too good to be true for Celtic to drop more points in the league. I think Lennon rested some players tonight, Ledley Ki and Mulgrew will feature on Sunday, I don't think they were injured.

A bad patch is a given bud, Rangers have been on form, albeit winning ugly, but winning is winning. The worrying thing, I think, for Celtic fans is how Celtic's bad patch has came in the season, I think it has kinda set the tone for Celtic's season IMO.

All in all......Bring on the UTD!

Off to ma scratcher, got some friday skivin' to do 2mor.

T'was a pleasure CB67. {Ed007's Note - Night mate, take care, don't skive to hard now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers Tony, Good wee bit of banter with a good guy just a wee bit mislead when it comes to supporting the right team LOL.
Was a pleasure Tony maybe catch you 2moro bud I'm on the skive too (bad back so can work from home!!) Fkn Dancer!!
Cheers again

Agree0 Disagree0

Excellent defensive display second half, makes me wonder what the hell's been going on but I guess that's on everyone's mind to some extent - even the Bears in attendance of this post.

In truth I think we rode our luck a little and on another day could've been pumped but nah we probably deserved the win. Rennes were all over us second half without really creating anything, while we basically stuck the ball in the net when given the opportunity. Goals win games. They were dire at making chances and definitely nothing special.

A big well done for Sammy...2 assists, worked hard. Hasn't made himself look like Messi or anything but it was good to see him have a decent game as I'm sick and tired of the scheisse he gets from the stands before he's even kicked a ball.

Fantastic bhoys!! Really answered all the questions tonight, I was surprised just by how well we played tonight. Thats the best we've played all season from back to front, really happy great result too. For me Wanyama was epic, Kayal was fantastic (back to his old self) thank good, jamesy was as usual magic (new macgeady in the making). Watched it with my Da and loved it! I really hope and think we've turned the corner now bhoys. Bring on the Well!!

after viewing tonight's tv pictures it's clear that some form of incident has occurred involving NL. There is distinct "colouring", small nick and swelling under left eye.
Ed - there is no way you can deny this {Ed007's Note - I never noticed.}

Believable2 Unbelievable8

Let's just draw a line under this now eh??
we've turned the corner (fingers crossed) so no need to dig up the past mate. Onwards and upwards!!

Classic, Nice one. I didn't see anything wrong with him at all either. I think we have a bear in the wids just trying to stir it cos his team were sitting on there fat arses tonight when we were out there playing the best I've seen us play this season.

Is it just me or do we only play well after going at least a goal behind ?!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yeah it just you.........

TonyTheGer {Ed007's Note - Mate we have a regular Rangers fan that come on called Tony, no probs if that is your name but Tony puts a tag in the e-mail field to avoid impostors trying to post under his name, and you use TonyTheGer rather than just Tony, I'll post your stuff, and welcome to the site BTW. Decent Rangers fans are always welcome.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Yep Ed it's good to see there some people out there who can debate or comment as an adult regadless of which team we support. Tony my respect goes to you bud.
Cheers
CB67

Agree1 Disagree0

Your welcome Ed, it's a pleasure. I'm all up for the banter and will always post an honest opinion. I noticed one of the Eds had a run-in with an imposter claiming to be a Tony the other day, not sure if it was you, but would like to point out it wasn't me lol. You certainly won't get any of that S**T from me bud. {Ed007's Note - No problems mate, drop in any time.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed what BTW mean?? {Ed007's Note - By The Way. IMO means In My Opinion.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha, I'm not exactly up to date with all these abbreviations (figured out TBH) so getting there bud lol!. You must be down with the kid's lingo Edy Bhoy LOL!!
CB67 {Ed007's Note - No mate it just gets easier than repetitively typing in, apologises though bud, don't be afraid to ask me if you aren't sure, nothing wrong with that. Thought that text speak the kids use does my nut in, we just delete them rather than try and decipher them ;-) Another common one you might see is WTF (What the f**k).

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep totally with you there Ed, Some of these posts are done as if they are actually talking (but pure glasgow too). Its just ridiculous I don't think they could actually spell correctly if they wanted too?!?!
All this "yer ma kinda....." and the dodgy abbreviations too just crazy (ok as you say some are fine and time saving) but some of the posts i've seen on here i;ve had to read 3 times to understand it!!
Shocking stuff.........suppose i'm getting older too, but still if your going to post a comment at least spell correctly and get your point across.
CB67 {Ed007's Note - I try not to allow slagging spelling and grammar as long as it is eligible and makes sense, it could put people off posting for fear of ridicule, we aren't all great spellers etc but at least try your best to make sense to other humans.}

Glad I'm eating my words tbh.

Good & points tho here.

Hats off to the whole team Forrest seems a real star for us & Scotland. Wanyana wore the shirt tonight, Sami I'll give him it big man done well. Even the 17 year old lad hats off to him, why can't our defence do what he does ? Just clear the bloody ball rather than pass back to the keeper.

This marking carry on ? Surely we need to get shot of it please ? Did we play this idea last year I can't remember ?

Once again it could be the kick up the ass the team needs.

Now let's not get on the band wagon.....

Sunday.... The last 3 games we have had after Europe have been mince. But have we turned a corner ? Still think we should enjoy the win but if we lose on Sunday where does Lennon stand ?

All the same good score good team effort etc lets keep it up for Sunday & for now on

Come on you bhoys in green
Lenny

Ps has paddy ever played a whole 90min in a hoops top ?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

No, its shocking too. Paddy is a pro footballer and can't play a full 90 mins!! That's crazy eh??
Think the most he's played is about 70 odd mins in the cup last season.
Was in and out tonight, nothing special tho one good run.
CB67

Agree3 Disagree0

One thing too, Many posts previously asking for paddy to finally get a start and he did guy's. But I was'nt too impressed (were any of you??) He had one or two good run's, one of which if he passed when he should have jamesy was clean thru.
CB67

Agree3 Disagree0

Did paddy not play full game at ibrox when sami scored twice cant really remember even so he still not good enough and i think its time to sell him

kayal,sammy,and matthews were brilliant tonight.whole team were good,but those three were excellent.but see that bloody zonal marking?bin it now.well done the hoops

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Matthews will be a fantastic player, he's only 19 so we've plenty still to see from this guy. Great signing and I don't think if he keeps playing the way he has been the EPL teams will be looking more and more! So that'll be another headline for the S##te papers for sure! Regardless we'll get a good few good seasons out him and if it comes to it we'll cash on him in a few years. But for the moment great player we got for free!!
CB67

Agree4 Disagree0

100percent for sure. It's obvious it does'nt work, they have to see that. If someone has a chance to run at the ball and your stationary you ain't got a chance! I hate even watching it!!

Rangers fan here. Just want to wish Mark Wilson all the best in his recovery from his knee injury. A very underrated player in my opinion, if it hadn't been for injury he would definetly be a regular for Scotland, certainly in the squad at least.

Never nice to see any player seriously injured, so I for one wish him a fully successful operation and a speedy rehabilitation process.

In danger of speaking too soon, I am really enjoying watching andy walkers face on SSN commentating on the game now stokes has scored to make it 2-1. It is obvious to all that walker is not lennon's biggest fan but for a former celtic man to slate the team in all forms of the media is a disgrace.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Andy walkers a disgrace why?because hes not a liar and not into sweeping stuff under the big giant celtic carpet get a life ya loonball

Yet again a simple goal conceded! Why oh why do they persist with zonal defending when they obviously haven't got a fecking clue how to do it!!

Believable3 Unbelievable1

I'm a female fan & only a man would persist with making the same mistake ! Why oh why they persist with this I don't know..for us who know so little about football we do know you mark the runners {Ed007's Note - Just because you are female, I don't doubt your knowledge. Have you never had the pleasure of chatting to Ed002?}

Agree0 Disagree0

No...go on is Ed002 female or a woman know nothing kinda guy ?

Don't make the mistake of doubting my knowledge of Celtic :) {Ed007's Note - Ed002 is all woman. Has a vast footballing knowledge, expert knowledge of contracts rules etc. She has fantastic contacts worldwide and flies all over with her job (nothing seedy btw), if Ed002 tells any us other Eds is 100% correct at the moment. Your opinion will be respected here as much as any man, don't worry about that. Try to think of a wee nickname or tag though, it helps with the interaction though it is not required you will see how it helps conversations go, and welcome to the site if you are new.}

Rangers Fan, I come in peace, Theres a discussion going on that started basically with another gers fan trying to focus on bring through Youth rathers than allowing players like Broadfoot and Healy who will be on around £5k per week to sit and earn money for nothing.

My point is schools and the lack of facilities for kids to play football, or play any sports.. As good as toryglen and Glasgow Green are, they are nothing but a new way of making cash for the council to subsidise 2014.
Anyway, have a read and contribute to it if you please..It would be good to get a joint opinion on where Glasgow in general thinks where its all going wrong and what can be done to fix it. Can the clubs do more?

Everyone is talking about if Rangers and Hearts go bust and die off scottish football will Die.

Total CRAP. it will not die, it might not be as strong but everything will have to be reshuffled and Leagues re-arranged might take a season or two but things will start to flow again.

If other teams think they have a chance of winning thing's other teams fan base will rise .
Look at cup finals team only get about 3000 to game's but want 20000 for final .
When Hearts where doing good tyncastle was sold out so fans start to come back when they think they have a chance of silver at the end of the season.

Partick Thistle , Motherwell , Hibs , Aberdeen , Dundee Utd all have large supporting networks but people have falling away as it is always celtic & Rangers winning the league , but take 1 team away everyone is fighting again . If tv money falls away then that move's all the games back to saturday 3pm kick-off which will bring fans back .

As for Hearts , I really do feel for them a small bit as Romanov has always had them over a barrel of when he gets fed up or anoyed he can try old a gun to the SFA's head and pull the plug.

There is a club called Tyncastle FC who play in the lower scottish football league , so why would hearts fans not nove to support them and with the extra place's in the SFL apply for a position and they would have a high supported club who could bring something to the league and just to start try ground share with Edinbrugh city at the meddowbank stadium to hold the crowd.

( this is only an opinion as hearts fans will alway want there club around as hearts )

But all i'm saying is scottish football will not die with Rangers it will only be reshaped . not as strong but still alive.

Believable1 Unbelievable9

And.......................................where will the investment come from if these teams disappear? Do you reckon Sky will continue to throw money at Spl? Like it or lump it- other fans call it arrogance, but no old firm games, who is going to be interested?

Agree7 Disagree3

Sky pay less than 750k to every team in the SPL . that may be a lot of money to some teams but if gate attendances rise and contracts at lower wages they will survive and the SPL will then look into there own TV Channel what they have spoke about in the past it may not be 750k but they will get around 300k each and if celtic started there own tv channel with there games on it ( only an option ) they could generate other income.

You have to look outside your box or take you blue specs off but no matter if celtic or rangers go scottish football will go on . Maybe at the level of the league of Ireland . Rules can be made up to support teams and with FIFA's new rule possibly coming out soon saying teams cant spend over what they bring in on income then that would help.

Agree3 Disagree7

Listen Not everyone buy's sky to watch Rangers , Celtic fans but it to watch Celtic , Hearts fans want to watch hearts hibs to watch hibs and so on people will always pay to watch there own team and as long as celtic fans and other teams do that tv will always be intrested , they may not pay as much money but if ESPN can show the league of Ireland games then I'm sure they will continue to show SPL games too. As long as it pulls in viewers. So if people will sit down and watch st Pats V Shamrock then i'm sure whey will watch Celtic v Hibs

Agree3 Disagree5

Totally missed the point with saying fans buy it to watch their own teams. Sky,regardless of how much or how little they currently put in, will pull the plug and NO-ONE will take their place. See what will happen then.

Agree4 Disagree2

Rangers security charge change document. Proof that Whyte has now mortgage Rangers assets in return for cash, presumably to see him through to the transfer window when he will then start punting the big money earners. The fixed charge will rank in priority to the floating charge.

rangerstaxcase.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/rangers-security-charge-change-11_11.pdf

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Why do people believe everything they read on Rangerstaxcase.com?

Don't believe this drivel. The guys who write these blogs on this site are clutching at straws. They have no legal obligation to obtain all these "documents" about Rangers. It is all fiction on this site folks, please don't buy it.

You are only fooling yourselves if you do buy it

Agree2 Disagree2

Lets just say, the editors of said site may not be 100% impartial in their journalism. You have a choice to believe or not.

Agree1 Disagree0

Let's forget about rangerstaxcase.com and stick to the facts. The document is genuine and shows that the charge is now with a finance company.
I only accessed the document through the taxcase website.

Agree0 Disagree1

Oh, can you prove the document is genuine?

Anything that comes from rangerstaxcase.com is not genuine. The main blogger uses false documents on his site to make it all sound a bit more believable to you Celtic fans.

If any Celtic fan takes comfort from what they read on rangerstaxcase.com then they have something wrong with them.

The blog in this is far more believable than anything in rangerstaxcase.com

Ok TonyTheGer, the whole taxcase site was just made up, there is no truth in it whatsoever. It's just about what Celtic fans want to happen to RFC. Happy?

But......when the 5hit hits the fan with your club will you be one of the first to come on here and congratulate the taxcase site for providing the facts about your wonderful leader Mr Whyte and your beloved club?

Agree0 Disagree0

Better stil TonyThe Ger, go to the companies house website and use the webcheck feature which will allow you to enter code SC004276 where it asks for company name. After you access it order the document for £1 and see for yourself.

Oh wait, Companies House must be in on this with rangerstaxcase.

I can see that commons was trying defuse the situation but kneck braces and bandages go a bit far,not very funny, this guy has had 3 months to get fit and earn his wages and more importantly repay the manager who bought him and show the supporters he cares about the league position, that could have been done in 1 joint club press call with the manager. I have sence of humour but I also spend a lot of cash following my team and the public jokes can all stop until we are back where we belong. I think the manager has been told by DD to get commons on the park and when the next window opens get rid of him then , but his stock wont go up on the bench or in the stand. This is a player who has posioned the dressing room and quite possibly ruined our season and he is now the prankster.

You probably don t have the savvy, to work out what would happen to Scottish football if they both went BUST- not burst. Think a little bit first before you come out with your, shall we say, less than educated posts. Now have a nice day.

Taking the bait? lol.
Here, you have proved yourself to be a daftie, do you put it on? Seriously though, if you actually thought about it for a couple of minutes, you might realise Scottish football would be finito. But................as you and your peers , like to tell us what the fuure holds for us..........I am sure you SAW it in a vision. Again, have a nice day now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Scottish football would be dead aye. But they would probz go into another league or something like that. But that's another story for another day.

This post was a bit of banter on the current affairs at rangers & at hearts.

Ps do you mean Future & not fuure?

Thanks I will you too
