Why didn't u post my news about
john reid getting pushed out the door becausethey are10 mill in debt beacauseof no champions league money for the last 3 years {Ed007's Note - Because that has nothing to do with it. Dr. Reid had informed Dermot Desmond about standing down in mid-March. No one was pushed anywhere, Why would you sack a Chairman for that? Wait, If Celtic pushed Dr Reid out the door for not winning the league, why did Rangers sack Alistair Johnston before his agreed time to stand down after winning the league? Was it because that after steering Rangers through one of the most difficult periods in their illustrious history, he was stabbed in the back along with John Grieg and others, who realised that Tim but Dim does not have the financial clout that he had projected himself to have?How the present non existent razamataz surrounding Tim but Dims take over has clouded the memory of so many Rangers fans that they could discredit and turn a blind eye to men who have served the club so well for decades. There was press talk of him leaving earlier in the year but he dismissed the rumours.

The only reason the press would ask is if someone opened their big mouth as the chairman is not something people talk about unless there's rumblings of them leaving etc. Obviously the someone that informed the press had no credibility as it didn't exactly make headline news.

Also, if you google "Ian Bankier" and go to the first hit it's a Celtic forum talking about this in November last year. Shane Long isn't a Celtic fan lol typical Celtic. He's far too expensive for Celtic, I'm a Rangers fan who takes no interest in Celtic but it's always funny to come on and see how delusional you people are. Champions League money (or lack of it rather) is going to have a big effect on Celtic. Simples. {Ed007's Note - Why are you here if you have no interest in Celtic? The Rangers page is blue at the top or is the link broken? Let me know if there is a fault please mate.}

Why did the papers say he is a celtic fan then? Do you know him personally? Didn't think so. Away back to your own page and talk your usual bile!

No harm in enquiring, which I'm sure we've done. As for his price it depends on who else is putting money on the table. Relegation candidates may not want to to spend £4M+ on a striker; bigger clubs might not want to spend £4M on a squad player.

Having said that I too reckon he'll end up in the EPL (my guess is Newcastle who've argubly got a striker crisis and money to spend assuming they get to use some of the Carroll money) but people said that about Ledley, Wilson and Hooper last season so I'm not totally writing it off.
