To baz the bear
if the takeover does not happen it means rangers have lost their case to the taxman and are in real trouble. it would not be in the best interest for the taxman or the bank for rangers to go out of business because they would not get their money. they would have to workout a payment plan but it would be hard times rangers for along time.

Tried a couple of different ways of posting my name both in the name section and at the bottom of posts but it hasn't been getting posted, I guess I just have a weird sense of humour, just for the record I know were not signing Keane or Bellamy, and my uncle isn't the head groundsman, and if he was I doubt lawell would tell him or any other employee who we were after for fear of leaks. Hail hail sickbhoy and sorry if my crap SOH offended you!

The taxman

No worries Taxman, you didn't offend me FFS. It's just when you see Robbie Keane is signing for the 5000 time it kind of grates. And it gives the dark side more ammo to use. Roll on Sunday, if McCulloch doesn't play (Sky said he was doubtful) I think Rangers could struggle, he's the guy that keeps them ticking IMO.

Quite funny if it wasnt so sad but what you seem to forget is that in the very unlikely occurence that Rangers go out of business, Scottish Football and for that matter Celtic would be in the gutter. How attractive would the SPL be without one half of the Old Firm? Its pretty much a laughing stock at the moment so without Rangers the SPL would be a one trick pony. At least some people outwith Scotland still find the Old Firm games attractive due to the rivalry but otherwise they really don't care. Do you honestly think people will pay to watch Celtic skelp Aberdeen and St.Mirren every other week? Dont think so somehow! As for the takeover, your right, it might not happen, especially until the tax issues are resolved. Your also correct in that we have no money but no squad? Its the same squad that's been good enough to beat Celtic to the title the last 2 seasons which of course brings trophies, lots of them, in fact more than any other club in the world so with that we always have hope! Oh ye and we do actually wash but thanks for your concern!

I'll hold my hands up to that one mate, I was full of the sauce and it was type that or speak to the wife, what would you have done? lol Course I know Celtic need Rangers and vice versa, I've been posting all day sticking up for Scottish football on the main page, someone started the whole Scotland/ England thing. Sorry if I was out of order mate, it was just a drunken laugh.

In response to-

I can't find it anywhere that Gary Hooper signed for Newcastle! My mates sister just spoke to Dioufs agent Bob Carolgees and he told her that after seeing Rangers in Manchester he longed to play in front of their fans, he feels like a kindered spirit with them and welcomes the prospect of teaming up with world renowned striker "Desperate" David Healy. In order to maximise revenue Rankers have started an insurance company as part of their financial arm. It will be called Rangers Insurance Products (RIP) and there slogan will be "We wish it was only a crisis, not meltdown". Would the last person to leave The Piggery, please turn off the light, if the electricity isn't cut off by then! And in anticipation I would like to congratulate Rankers for setting the example of how NOT to run a football club. With the takeover looking ever less likely could Rankers end up like Leeds? I for one certainly hope so.

No Money
No Trophies
No Squad
No Hope
No Takeover
No Washed

I hate to say it but I think we we are done for this weekend, I think Commons will show that he doesn't have any quality and instead of hooper we should have hoopy the huddle hound I'm not a big fan of either of them.

To the guy who said he is related to the head groundsman at Celtic park why the hell would Peter Lawell tell a groundsmen his signing targets?.

The last minute player was Zander Diamond. Celtic had him on standby but pulled out as they thought they had signed Faye. They don't want to say this in case he gets pelters for the rest of the season from other fans or his team mates.

The player that Celtic nearly got in before the transfer window closed was Sean St Leger, this never happened as Glenn Loovens wouldn't go the othe way. FACT

Kev

Re: if this is fact then u have proof . . . go on ?!

He doesn't need proof, he put FACT at the end of it, that seems to be proof enough on here. LOL

The guy that posted the above should get the award for being the BIGGEST BAWBAG going. {ed's note - do you not just think it was a joke? He was clearly being ironic.}

thanks for the back up ed I was clearly being ironic and the people that couldn't see that were being moronic with their abuse, notice I didn't put a signature at the end? Tgat usually means BS unfortunately no real rumours for the Summer except poss Westwood from coventry on a bosmam, have you heard any more on this ed?

{Editor Note: I don't really keep track of Celtic rumours mate, sorry.}

I'm a Rangers fan, i'm just curious if you think lennon will employ an attacking style against rangers on sunday as he did against the likes of hearts and aberdeen. The last game at ibrox lennon played a kind of counter attacking game and it worked, do you think he will employ that again or do you think he will play an all out offensive game?

Walter Smith tends to set his team out to play on the counter attack. In the last few years it has usually been effective. I'm just wondering what you think Lennon will do to try gain victory on sunday?

cheers
