Alright bhoys and ghirls,

Just a wee fact or two I seen this morning:

Celtic and Barcelona have played each other 8 times in the last 10 years. Celtic have won 2 compared to Barca's 4 and only failed to score twice, bothe times at Camp Nou in knockout rounds of the UEFA Cup + Champions League.

If that doesn't have you buzzing for tomorrow night then nothing will.

PS, looking forward to an afternoon in the Merchant City fanzone before the game!

COYBIG!

Dufc have played them 4 times and won every one. About time celtic had 4 wins too.

Starting to get excited already about Barca game.
I would bite your hand off for a draw tomorrow, as I think Barcelona, even without Messi, will be powerful opponents.
What I am worried about is getting beat then hearing that Ajax have turned over Milan at home, which is a possibility as Milan look poor.
We would then be bottom with 0 points after 2 games and Ajax vying with Milan for 2nd and third.
I saw that Boerighter was missing Saturday, hope it was just a precaution as we will need his pace tomorrow night.
A poser for Lennon is who plays up front with Sammy as you cannot drop him after his hatrick.
Pukki? Stokes?
My team would be along these lines.
Forster, Mathews, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Mulgrew (no Izzy) Boerighter, Brown, Ledley, Commons,
Sammy, Stokes
Subs. Zaluska, Balde, Pukki, Biton, Izzy, Lustig,
Atajic.
Let's hear your team and thoughts. Timalloy

Barcelona are bang on form - even with Messi missing the game - and it will be a tough game that I think will be beyond us, simply because we can't keep a clean sheet against anyone at present. I agree with you that Ajax will see this as their big chance to make a move and we may have it all to do in the long run. But; never write Celtic off at home in Europe and I hope we somehow manage to get at least a point on the board to give us a boost going into the Ajax double-header.

I agree with no izzy too. Would like to see Mathews at LB as he done it well against them last year, also we need chuck in CM.

My team:

Forster
Lustig ambrose Virgil Mathews
Forrest brown mulgrew commons
Sammy
Stokes

Think balde could have a big part to play if given any time with his physical presence. Barca won't have seen much of him and won't know what to expect. Set pieces and high balls in to box are key again

Wouldn't play Boerighter doesn't track back and we'll need players that'll work their a**** off, agree about Izzy though, every goal we concede these days comes from his inability to defend. Stevie
