Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

I think it's no coincidence at all that we had the warmest Scotland this summer since records began and Celtic couldn't get their mojo going.

They thought they were on winter break in Dubai. Lazy players.

Celtic are a cold weather club. KT trains barefoot in underpants throughout the winter. He takes his lead from Broony.

What's the betting young Arzani will be in wee black gloves when we see him?

My team for tomorrow versus Dundee:

Gordon
Lustig, Boyatta, Benkovic, Izzy
Forrest, McGregor, Sinclair
Christie, Arzani
Edouard

I'd give KT a day off. I'd like to rest Lustig as well.

However, I think Brendan won't play Izzy. I think he will play Kouassi in CDM, benching McGregor for a rest and emergency stand by.

I think Eddy will get his goals.

I forecast a few subs and everyone joining the fun incl. Morgan.

BR frustrates me because he never does as I tell him, so I've started using reverse psychology to dupe him šŸ˜ƒ
I might even post 12 guys and see if anyone even notices šŸ˜ƒ.

I hope Brendan is not tempted to go 3 at the back and put an extra man in midfield to compensate for no natural holding player after the st mirren shambles. The team look comfortable playing our normal system. I think the team picks itself due to depleted squad. Gordon
Lustig. Boyata Benkovic. Tierney
Christie. McGregor
Forrest. Rogic. Sinclair
Edouard.

Keep it consistent seem to be finding some form now so no need to change too much.

This is how I think Rogers will play it:

Gordon
Lustig, Boyatta, Benkovic, KT
Forrest, Kouassi, Sinclair
Christie, Rogic
Edouard

Subs: Bain, Ajer, Hendry, McGregor, Ntcham, Morgan, Arzani

Easy game for the Kouassi project. Surrounded by top players. Fair doā€™s. Get his value up for summer selling.

Must play Christie from start for Sundayā€™s effort. Itā€™s the right thing to do/ reward the lad.

Must play Sinclair, must play Rogic now back.

I think Ntcham is out, with Kouassi also doubtful the only player who could play the holding role would be mcgregor. Also Christie would be playing deeper than his normal position but there is no one else with Brown Ntcham Biton Kouassi all injured. l donā€™t know whatā€™s happened with Mulumbu, if heā€™s injured or if there's been a fall out because if fit he could slot in next to McGregor or be good for backup.

I would give Ralston an opportunityšŸ‘.

31 Oct 2018 05:36:42
Mulumbu has had his big toe nail removed so thatā€™s been keeping him out. If Ralston canā€™t get a game just now or in the squad he never will.

31 Oct 2018 09:41:06
Ralston is the only person keeping him out our squad. He needs to grow up very quickly or he's out of paradise.

The team that finished on Sunday and played so well, would be fine for me; however Izzy would be a good shout to give KT a wee rest and maybe Boyata and Gordon will be in the managers plans?

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - We could go Boyata and Benkovic at CB and move Ajer into CDM...

31 Oct 2018 13:01:29
Good shout Ed shame we didn't get to see Ajer so much in CDM and see what he's about perhaps only twice? On to the Kouassi situation am I right to believe he doesn't play in the reserves at all? So he's been limited to a few first team opportunities as his only game time?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Yeah that's right about Kouassi, not many of the first team fringe players do.}

31 Oct 2018 14:55:01
Ajer came to us as a Midfielder. It was Brendan made him a Defender.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - No it wasn't.}

31 Oct 2018 16:36:19
I'm pretty sure ajer when to CB under Ronny.

I was trying to give Brendan the credit.

Just noticed itā€™s 25 years ago today when Brian Oā€™Neil scored injury time winner at ibrokes after another blunder by maxwell, who was then attacked by one of his own fans after their next training session. Some things never change. I remember being in the upper stand and looking forward to going to sporting Lisbon on the Tuesday, taking in the Nacional stadium along the way, when super sally pops up on 67 minutes to put them one up. I remember just looking at the scoreboard reading 67 in disbelieve knowing we were on our way to Lisbon. The Bhoys dig in for a great comeback in Lou Macari first game as manager. How time flies when your having fun. HH.

Surely that should be Born Slippy next to the Man in White?

I suppose it could have been but for the fact that the Vatican is not in Liverpool.

So kouassi has his baws fiddled, perpetrator gets charged. Ajer gets punted by McGregor, no charge. EH?

McGregor also elbowed GMS maliciously in the cup semi. Thereā€™s a violent streak showing there. Kicking and elbowing young guys.

What did the Sheeps TIFO say on sunday, was it 'outnumbered but not outfought'? seems accurate.

Said earlier in the season that the Slippy G appointment was similar to our John Barnes. Both ex Liverpool, both inexperienced, both brought in as a name to appease disgruntled fans, both showed initial improvement and gave clubs a lift ( although Barnes started off a lot better than Slippy has) Barnes amassed 14 wins from first 16 games. It was round about the beginning of November it started to go Pete Tong for Barnes, the honeymoon period was over. By this logic Slippy should be sacked by February when the Sevies get pumped out in the 4th round of the Scottish cup by ICT šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚.

Stevie

Do you think if Larsson hadn't broke his leg in Lyon. Barnes time may have been different?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2018 12:50:11
Did Barnesā€™ managerial career ever recover from CFC failure?

I doubt Born Slippy will recover. It doesnā€™t look promising.

Is the latest manager another Dud?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2018 12:53:49
Could of been Hh . Think I remember Barnes saying a few years later it could of been different that season if he had Larsson all season. I mind we started that season on fire, we scored something like 25 goals in our first 6 games.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Oct 2018 13:49:17
The media couldn't wait for Barnes to fail, whereas they are right up Gerrard's bum crack, refusing to question or criticize in any way.
Had to laugh at him slagging off the players - he himself - brought in and how they are going to conjure up better (when they're skint) .
Wonder how the laptop-loyal with react to another couple of defeats?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - People forget that Barnes was actually chosen by so called Celtic legend Kenny Dalglish and that Larsson breaking his leg in the October threw a massive spanner in the works.}

30 Oct 2018 16:36:01
I think Stevie G is closer to the Liam Brady scenario than barnes ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Brady's playing career and 18-year career as Head of Arsenal's Youth Academy already surpasses anything Gerrard will do in the game - Gerrard couldn't even manage Liverpool's Under18's!}

30 Oct 2018 18:07:21
Good observation Ed. Slippy can gain more experience, he can learn from his mistakes as he goes along, but heā€™ll never escape that one fatal flaw he has -

Bad Judgement!

I think there is a distinct possibility that Sevco will drop points on Wed against a very capable and determined Kilmarnock team. They should beat St Mirren on Sat but depending on their frame of mind, you never know, their record of dropping points away from home may continue. I feel confident that Spartak Moscow will pump them and if all of this comes to pass, I think Slippy G will lose his job before Christmas. Normally, I donā€™t like to see people lose their job but in this instance, I feel jelly and ice cream may be called for.

30 Oct 2018 08:22:17
The team is now going from strength to strength and like I said on this page last week if we were to beat Hibs we will go undefeated for the remainder of the season that is well and truly on Well done to Brendan and the Bhoys šŸ€.
