Ed, I think it is about time the bonnet got the praise he deserves for saving our great club when liquidation was an easy option to wipe out the debt.

He stood for what he believed in was best for Celtic, got pelters for it. Including lots from me and my pals.

I think we should name the main stand after him. How about 'The Bonnet Stand' or 'The Fergus McCann stand'.

I don't care what anyone say's the man was a Celtic legend.

There seems to be rejoicing among the residents of sevconia today. Why? The much vaunted independent investigation into the Whyte-Green link has decided there was none. It seems the two very well respected companies involved ruled there was no connection between Whyte and Sevco Scotland. But we all knew that.

Sevco Scotland was the new company, set up by Green, that had the assets of the liquidated rangers transferred to it from Sevco 5088, which was the original company Duff & Phelps agreed the deal to sell the assets to. According to the details reported there is no mention of Sevco 5088 in the report handed to The rangers board.

The big question remaining is why was this investigation even started? Whyte himself is not claiming any link to Sevco Scotland, he is claiming unlawful transfer of assets from 5088 to Sevco Scotland, so this whole thing looks like a farce. It looks even worse when the report will remain private.

This leaves, once again, the SFA firmly in the spotlight. Will they accept the findings without seeing any of the report? I suppose they could given that the licence was granted to Sevco Scotland.
But would that be wise? What about transparency?

So it seems the SFA licence is safe. But the spectre of Agent Whyte still looms large over the dust bowl. The Sevco 5088-Sevco Scotland asset transfer is now the key. Whyte has sent The rangers a 330 page document stating his intentions. It would appear he is quite willing to take this to court if need be. It will be very interesting to see who blinks first. green jhedi

So Sir Cardigan of Sevco is going to be their new chairman. Is this intrim until the season tickets are sold?

What experience does he have of being chairman or is it let's keep the fann!es happy with a Rangers man at the top. Put him there then we will pull the strings.

Then finally what happened to If murray goes I go I don't want the job I don't have the business acumen.

Its amazing how money can change someone.
