Well, it looks like the walls are finally crumbling. the whyte shyte did say they would only have enough to see them till the end of the year....so they're oerdue on that as well!

getting so many texts just now, all sorts of rumours.....sally has resigned after the jellyp'sh bid was accepted, whyte forced to pay NI & PAYE before 31st or face immediate winding up order, whyte trying to remortgage the next 3 years season ticket money, but no-one will take that risk, they have ZERO money to continue and liquidation is more likely than administration, SFA refusing the lease of Hampden as they don't think they will pay, asbestos bill running to the tune of £4m!

god, this is getting better by the day:D

This january has been great fun. RFC are making the period before Fergus look like easy street!

However, to all fellow hoops, it's like they've now taken it just a little bit too far, right?. Yeh it's great to see them in the mire and down on their knee's, but out of existence? Am no sure if that's what I want after all.

Am thinking that's not such a good outcome. Yeh a few beers watching us beat dunfermline or hibs on sky is a relaxing sunday afternoon, but nothing beats skelping the shame, home or away, and all the intensity, cammerarderie etc. That's what gives us the passion.

It now looks as tho armegeddon is actually really approaching for them. No sure if we wanted what we wished for after all! Yeh rub their noses in it, but we want them to be able to put a team on the park so we can be laughing at them for the next ten years as well!

Agree2 Disagree1

Thanks Bhaldrick

it's quite easy to get stuck into them, i've never known such a bunch of clueless halfwits in all my life!
they're still talking about signing boyd and god knows who else for £2m ffs!

ed,just had a phone call from a mate who goes on another celtic site.he also says do not miss the 5 page spread in tomorrows dreary record.apparently a lot of people are in for a major surprise at what jim traynors got to say,and also it appears that mr whyte has been a naughty boy with the season ticket money,and hes bailing out next month?im confused.com,lol.artybhoy {Ed007's Note - Yeah Arty, I have heard. No shock with the season ticket money though. I have known that for months.}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Ed,i think the end is nigh.so glad i was at the very last old firm game.so glad we won the last old firm game.ever?

A lot of us have known this for months. It's just a shame that the main stream media are too spineless to print the truth.

Rangers will die as the most successful team in Scotland. You won the battle but we won the war

Agree0 Disagree0

Most successful through cheating J , your achievements are flawed and sullied by your once lauded chairman David Murray , Scotland's answer to Bernard Tapie , how ironic you lot once claimed the bold Bernard cheated yous out of the champions league final , how many trophies has Murray cheated Celtic out of ?

Who wants rangers to go out of business completely?

Honest opinions

I think u need to bear the following in mind

No old firms
No good players attracted to SPL with no OF games
Uefa may view the SPL coefficient differently with no competition for Celtic
Smaller crowds at Celtic park due to boring league race

I think people are too quick to wish rangers to the wall
These people probably don't even go to te games!

J

Believable1 Unbelievable9

Truly want them to go out of business?yes ,i do.laughed at us when we were in that situation.they hate everything about us.they are the most bitterest people you could meet.i,m a celtic supporter, and have no liking whatsoever of rangers.so yes. i definitely would love to see them go down the tubes.sooner the better, artybhoy

Agree6 Disagree0

And you must be from the dark side? division 3 n start again will do me...at the least. green jhedi

Agree5 Disagree0

Honestly,i'm one of the ones who doesn't want Gers to go out of business.I believe both clubs need each other but in saying that if you got relegated to third division then i would love it.We could always meet in a cup and you never know, you might even reach the final of the Ramsdens Cup.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree2 Disagree1

Tbh they never will go out of business.

i wouldnt want them to go out of business but worst caser is they get hammered for there dealings.which as a celtic fan i would love, still in business put the wallet stays tight.

im sure when the boot was on the other shoe it was the same thing.

lenny

Agree1 Disagree4

Couldn't agree more they despise everything about us the sooner they go out the game the better for society.

Agree5 Disagree0

Rangers dishonestly avoided paying tax to get an unfair advantage over the rest of Scottish football by being able to pay higher salaries to players. They basically deceived Scottish football and they need to be punished for this.

There will be financial implications if they go into administration and I hope they suffer severely as a result.

In a pure footballing sense, I would keep them in the SPL but with a 10 point deduction for 4 seasons, the number of titles they won during the period of their wrongdoings.

Agree2 Disagree1

Well I go to games , have done for 30 yrs season ticket holder since Hampden season and I hope they go into oblivion. If I had cheated the taxman I'd be jailed so why have sympathy with that mob . Can't see it happening as I can see Scottish govt or sfa helping them out somehow..........DH

Agree4 Disagree0

Life goes on if rangers are there or not get this into your heads please, but they will never not exist - in some form if worst comes to worst as it looks like going- what if jelavic stays? unlikely now i say. rangers need the money from his sale to keep cash flow? is that far off mark ed? even the press are now telling some real stories about these problems, yet still they say the t#x ca#e has them on there kness yet no figure has been put on it, so where is his cash for the here and now? looks very like he is what they say he is and not the billionaire once spoke of. so whatever happens to this current club who knows, who cares really, whats coming to them maybe will end them for now or they will stumble along for a while appealing the tax case or in whytes eyes winning it lol, and celtic will take on who ever else is in the league and carry on - tv money not a great deal tbh maybe generate their own broadcast rites, possible? why will smaller crowds go see a team top of their game and winning? i will. can live without old firm game so we will carry on whatever happens

davybhoy ktf {Ed007's Note - They need money to help with their immediate, and the next few months, cash-flow.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Without a doubt i want to see them shut down.

forget all the nonsense about scottish football would die without them, it's them that put scottish football in the position it's in.

i think the league as a whole would improve, as other teams would now have a chance to qualify for the champions league, therefore more money being spent by other teams, bigger crowds etc.

for me as well, rangers are a pockmark on society, bitter, twisted and vile right to the core. the majority of rangers supporters have a deep rooted hatred of all things celtic and catholic. they stand for everything that is wrong in society with their 'we are ra peepul' and 'no surrender' shyte.
i remember walking in town with my mum, i was 9 years old and had a green wooly hat on, i was spat on by 2 MEN, then subjected to the usual barrage of 'fenian b'stard' and ''....this happened in a crowded town centre to a 9 year old boy and his mother ffs!
all through school i had to put up with this crap, along with all the other celtic supporters, and i can guarantee you, not one rangers supporter ever went to school and suffered abuse like a celtic supporter would

shut them down, the sooner the better, and rid scotland of this cancerous sectarian institution

taco

Agree5 Disagree0

I know and have listened to why we shouldn't, but i truly want to see them and their horrible bigoted fans consigned to history, and scottish football and scotland the country would be better for it,fab1

Agree4 Disagree1

Agree with Lenny 100%

Bhaldrick

Agree0 Disagree0

Guys thanks for your honesty

An yes I'm a rangers fan, I was too young to really remember when Celtic were in this position, but I don't think that was quite as complicated a situation as rangers predicament. If the shoe was on the other foot I would say that I wouldn't want Celtic to go out Of business as im a football fan and personally I love the Old Firm matches, best games in the world in my opinion!

J

Agree1 Disagree1

I like my Old Firm games, nothing better than pumping the munters!

Really wouldn't mind their fans and club suffering for the next decade as a result of their neglegence and cheating! I remember our predicament in the early 90's, not much sympathy coming from the Rangers unfaithful back then, I believe it's referred to as Karma!

HMRC have a tight grip of the nuts of that club, the future's bright, the future's Green & Whyte!

Get it right up yees, Percy's! lol

Miko x

Agree3 Disagree0

So Scottish football would die without the Shame in it. Hmmmm let's see, Scottish football in the 80's: 4 different league winners, 2 Euro finals, Hearts within a goal of the title........And then Dodgy Dave turns up and f##ks it all up.

Let them rot!!

Schadenfreude CSC

Agree3 Disagree0

Me me me me ME ME ME ME ME :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

I grew up in Ayrshire the only protestant Celtic supporter proud enough to wear a scarf to school. Have been beat up, spat on swore at by pissed up bigots so would I be happy to see them go? To right I would. Let them rot its what they deserve. Oh and I apologise to the 5% of rangers supporters who are decent people coz they do exist. MMI2009

Agree6 Disagree0

I would shed no tears for Rangers , but i listened to the phone in on Radio Clyde tonight , there were many valid points of view put across , firstly i do believe that the SFA , SFL , SPL and the Scottish Government would do everything in their power to ensure there was a "Rangers" in Scottish football in some shape or form , i think they will definately be put into administration and must face the penalties dished out to other clubs pro rata , ie points deductions , transfer embargos , if they are put into liquidation by rights the "New Rangers" should start at the bottom of the pile like any other new club , but i don't think this will be allowed to happen , they will be fast tracked into the SPL for the "Good of Scottish Football" which is wrong and only opens up a can of worms for future "wrong doers" Rangers have cheated to win things and can not be allowed to get away scot free or we may as well just pack it in , every club must abide by the same rules whether it be Rangers or East Stirlingshire ,

Agree1 Disagree0

If Rangers are put into administration they would have to be deducted 10 points because that is the SPL rule , if they remain in administration the following season , they would be deducted points again , the administrator would be appointed to cut debts by selling off assets to pay creditors , if they are liquidated , there would be no Rangers and all assets (including Ibrox and Murray Park ) would be sold off to pay creditors , the "New Rangers" would have no debt , no stadium , no training facilities , no players and no history , how could they even be considered worthy of a place in the SPL ?

find the Klose thing to be a bit unbelieveable as his wages alone must be huge! and hes scoring rapid for lazio scored 2 goals in 2 mins against chievo on the 29th jan, why? would they want to sell him and that makes it 13 goals in 20 games! have they had a fall out or something? i still believe pierre michel lassoga of hertha berlin would be a great signing scores goals for fun in the bundesliga

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They have targets they want to sign, but like every other club they have to free up wages! Several clubs in england also offered Klose! He is 33 btw!

where did you hear this? i personally know someone who is involved with the youth teams, and not once has chris complained about results, and the reason he'll be looking at motherwell youngsters is because he worked with them before...oh and btw, our scouts have files on around 200 promising youngsters, from schools to clubs

Assuming no more player movement on either side of the old firm, who's happy?.

I am anyway, if the dark side sell we'll be listening to their excuses forever and a day, whereas if they don't sell we can get out our "No excuses" T Shirts from the MON era!!

Bad Bhoy.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Personally i'm delighted, Jellyfish will be pissed off at not getting big move, so will be passenger for rest of the season.

Whilst we've brought in Brozek to supplement attack, Ibrahim to add some flair plus we've got commons and izzy coming back!

Lustig to add to our defence since M. Wilson is off on loan. Good luck Mark, great player just unlucky with injuries!

I have seen links today with Klose, Janko, Hunt, Templeton and Russell and others.
If we are going for 2 more strikers (including Brozek) does that mean a frontman is leaving?
I know the rumours go into overdrive on the final days of a 'window' and there are always the odd mischief makers but how many of these do you think are genuine - and who is making way for them?
Mark Wilson and Paddy McCourt have been mentioned and I have mixed feelings on that as I liked them both and would have liked to see Murphy, Rasmussen, Cha, Samaras, Juarez, O'Dea and McGinn go before they did. Anyway it will be interesting to see how it pan's out tomorrow.
Whatever we do (or don't) we must be fully focussed on winning this league and ignore what's going on across the river. No excuses Bhoys.

Did you know that you club has had interest free loans totaling approx 9 million pounds ?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

This (if true) is probably some loose change that some of our billionaire directors have put in, no problems there.

did you know that the true debts of rangers stand at around £70m, without adding on the tax scam?

taco

@taco. thats been the case for weeks mate, there is a real cash flow problem over there. the tax case blog has had the figures for months, rankers fans diss it but his figures were proved to be very accurate. green jhedi

Yeah, i know jhedi....i just can't believe that they think that by coming on here and saying we have some tiny wee loan, that it puts us in a similar position to them.

they're in complete denial about the level of debt and problems they will face because of it, and cheap retorts like the OP just don't make sense

taco

Billy boy have you had enough of the nonsense being spouted on your own page? I was on earlier and cried laughing for ages, fire sale indeed eh? We're gonna have to get a bigger team bus with all these players Lenny keeps signing.

High level talks have taken place between the SFA SPL SFL and Rangers but its common knowledge to Baldrick haha who is he Campbell Ogilvie?

Billyboy1

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Campbell Ogilvie, as corrupt as you'll get. Fully aware of Rangers Uefa license that should never have been granted.

sillyboy1 beat it back to the dark side.

Agree8 Disagree1

Strangely enough i know bhaldrick and his surname is ogilvie! spooky eh billyboy1.green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Not got a name? I think I'll stick around on this page after all there's more talk about rangers on here than on the Rangers page.

Billyboy1

Hey Liamboy

heres what to if you have the guts
try asking questions on the phone ins at snide 1 or the beeb.ah the beeb your club wont talk to them but happy enough to take 30 pieces of silver from them to screen your cup tie this weekend or ask your Ed if there has been talks on leasing Hampden and who payed for the recent upgrading was it Mr Whyte or did it come out of the commonwealth games trust fund.
oh and as you lot dont have dealings with the beeb

Agree7 Disagree0

I think we will win on Sunday 2 nil or 2 nil Jed! I wouldnt actually mind if Jelavic were to go just as long as we replace him. His heart hasn't been at Rangers all season I think his head has been constantly turned by the speculation.

Billyboy1

Something funny's going on, or this is utter bull; neither of which would surprise me.

I thought West Ham were ready to bid 6-7M just last week and Sochaux were going to pay 1.2-1.5M for Edu.

Instead they sell 2 key players for around the same price and flog Edu for around half the money Sochaux offered just a few weeks ago.

I realise sell-on fees in the Premiership are going to exceed anything a Championship/French side will get them but surely West Ham are a safe bet for promotion with more stable finances than Everton and Edu probably won't exactly fetch them much of a sell-on anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed........................

Bhaldrick {Ed007's Note - Cheers Bhaldrick.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yer man baldrick might just have a valid point.
the company i work for are in process of submitting quotes for work at ibrox that would see the closure of the stand that my son and i sit in for every home .if given the go ahead the stand would be closed for at least 6 months

Dont know about any1 else but I dont think Izaguirre has looked comfortable since he's came back. Dont just not tracking back for the goal 2day. Just dont think he looks ready. The time scale for his injury was 4-6 months. He's been in full training since December and I know he's had a few bounce games but I just feel he good do with another few before he plays again. I luv the guy and I want to see him back to his best. I think he's came back in 2 soon. Ledley does fine at left back.

Drew {Ed007's Note - I said that today about Izaguirre Drew. Maybe a rest would do him a power of good.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Defo didn't look in any way at all comfortable, clearly unfit also.
Wee rest n well see him back to his best hopefully
