Just watched a few clips on sell out tube of the 2 new strikers they both look not too bad decent finishers maybe give some players a kick up the arse. Have you seen anything of the big ch? ed what do you think of the signings? good job wae site as usual HH {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate.I think the board could have done a lot more to help NL. I would put money on it that none of the players brought in, with the possible exception of Ambrose, were anywhere on any list NL had of possible signings. If they were it wouldn't have took to the final day of the window (and beyond) to bring them in.}

I would agree with Ed007 but this time I think the signings are reasonable I have a feeling Victor will leave us for hopefully a big pay check. In January and Ambrose sounds like a similar player also think the forwards will do a job for us. In these hard times we have to be a little thrifty though we are known for that when we should not be. Mon the Hoops

Agree with ed here but think we might have 2 not 2 bad players here.i know they not got the best pedigree but peeps need 2 get noticed somewhere n they came from a good league unlike kayal izzy vic mulgrew and so on we are from an average league and need 2 take n try the best we can some work some don't 2 ultimately make money.its all good lo as it could b worse we could b zombies hail hail

I've only seen a little bit of Ambrose on You Tube, he does look like a decent defender, but he looks a prospect, but i'm not sure he's the CB we require. He WILL compliment Mulgrew, Mulgrew will be the ball player and Ambrose the tackler.

The forwards look decent, they're stats don't look good and we aint heard of them.....but Suttons stats were that poor Desmont said he didn't want him, leaving O'Neil to reply "am i the manager.....or are you!". Also we may not have heard of Lassad or Miku, but had most folk heard of Lubo, Petrov Larsson, Izzy or Vic!

We have Twardzik, Watt, Fraser, Irvine, and McGeough to come through!

Our squad includes some quality youngsters and they're getting the chance to play, week in week out. Plus they have the opportunity to play in Europe against some of the best teams on our continent.

Some armageddon eh folks!! I for one am delighted to be a Celtic fan, especially when most of my family are from the dark side. I used to walk into work or family gatherings and cringe when anyone spoke of football. Now i hold my head high, and talk of the great future our country has.

There's a great feeling in Scottish football right now, fans feel like they are being listened to. They feel like the cheating that has plagued our game has been eradicated.

The future is bright in Scotland.......get along to as many games as you can whether it be at Celtic Park, Easter Road or Somerset Park.

Boenisch is a free agent having let his contract run down and played that poorly during the UEFA Euro 2012 that VfB Stuttgart withdrew their contract offer, citing lack of performance as the reason for their action.On 6 August 2012, Boenisch was handed a trial at English Premier League side Stoke City and started a pre-season friendly for the club against Torquay United and Yeovil Town. However his trial was unsuccessful and he was not offered a contract by Stoke.

So is that is what it's come down to? Signing players who failed to impress in a pre season game at Torquay? Think I'd rather we didn't sign anyone else if they are not good enough to pull on the hoops. Free agents are normally free for a reason.

Had a look through the previous posts and couldn't see anyone going on about this - apologies if it's already been mentioned. What is the story with the late registration of Templeton? I think this absolutely stinks of an old club over Govan way that used to cheat to gain an unfair advantage. A new club from the same area are reporting that they registered a player before the deadline that all the other teams had to stick to, but with 5 mins before the deadline (and the paperwork still not sent in) 'the computer system crashed'. I find this totally unbelievable. Charlie Green has the Scottish football authorities terrified to stand against them as demonstrated by their failure to punish him and the new club's charismatic and dignified manager. I'm not in the least surprised at the new club's belief that they can break the rules to gain an unfair advantage, but are we back to the days of Jim Farrie where the authorities are in cahoots with them?

It crossed my mind too was looking to see if any players managed to get in or out during the time of this supposed crash boca had a hold up and it was thought they where holding off for that deal to go through first

Then Nimmo- Smith gives them a meaningless one year transfer ban for crimes only one level below match fixing. Which wasn't a legal punishment but suspension and thrown out of association football is.
Now the very same Nimmo-Smith is put in charge by the SFA into EBT and registration of players illegally for the 12 years of the spl. Stinks!
