I wish to congratulate Celtic on four in a row A great achievement by Lennon and Deila, not since the 1970's have we achieved it .
Can I also congratulate Aberdeen who stayed with us throughout the campaign,

I would also like to pass my condolences to members. Of our referees confernity, among them men making dishonest errors
S McLean, Mc Collum, Thompson and Madden, they and others tried their best to keep Celtic from gaining too early a hold on the Premiership . No doubt they will also be disappointed that Sevco came third in the lower league .

why don't you wipe the slate clean for the referees for the new season,this season the team did'nt play well in many games and it was too easy to blame the referee for a mistake or three,it deflected away from poor performances by the team or players or by bad decisions by RD,but congratulations to the team in getting there in the end,i hope next season the team will improve further making any referees mistake an irrelevance.

Agree1 Disagree2

03 May 2015 00:47:37
I have no problem with referees making mistakes , refereeing is one of the hardest jobs in the world . But like the great Jock Stein , I won't be silenced in calling out the cheats .
Just remember the hand ball incident in the cup semi final. The head of the Scottish referees , Fleming gave a different explanation than was given at Meeking's hearing .
Now , I am no lawyer, but it does seem a wee bit fishy .
Aindoh , I will do a deal with you , you ignore all Scottish referees wrong doings / cheating and I will keep on posting about what I think is wrong .

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - There's a very good chance you won't be posting it on here, I'll be seeing Timalloy about those odds.}

03 May 2015 12:50:22
2 of the refs you mentioned are Celtic fans, why would they want to hamper Celtic? Accept it people make mistakes they can't all be as perfect as you.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 May 2015 13:47:00
the first time I saw the handball incident in the semi final,i thought meekings had headed the ball,by the way he had moved his head,i also could see that the ref was unsighted at the crucial moment,but if you go into the game thinking the refs acheat,you will percieve things differently,as far as I can see the only way you can improve things is to use video technology,it would have caught meekins misdemeanour right away.

Agree0 Disagree1

03 May 2015 13:57:13
I would have thought Celtic fans would always be magnanimous in victory and show concern with those who have failed . Maybe younger fans don't have any respect or time for anyone who are not winners .

Cee x ( the third in the second class league ) that is a myth that your lot like to mouth . The reason so many referees have a bias pro the Govan cheats and anti Celtic is that they are following the guidelines set by their former leader the bigot Hugh Dallas . Dallas was able to demonstrate refereeing in that manner was a sure way to promotion In UEFA and International circles

ED007 hope you never got too cold camping outside the London hospital waiting on the royal baby to arrive (was that you draped in union jacks being interviewed by BBC lol)

{Ed007's Note - Did you see the actual state of them, the lowest dregs of society getting their 15 mins of fame, it reminded me of wine alley in Larkhall. Is it too warm at night for hypothermia now? And all for another inbred parasite being spawned into the world to live off our taxes and keep the sick and perverted 'family secrets'.
Google Greg Hallett's 'Abdication of Queen Elizabeth II', Timbo, that's an interesting read. The thing is there's loads of evidence out there about what they're really about (10 missing kids in Canada and an arrest warrant for Lizzie and Phil the Nazi is just the tip of the iceberg) and people happily choose to ignore it.}

Well the Bhoys and Ronnie and his team thoroughly deserved to be Champs, we did play some lovely stuff as the season progressed. Last night was delightful, one to remember for the quality of the goals. Only the Champions can produce that kind of performance. Great to be a Celt as always.

Hope some of you profited from the footie tips today, espeially my Leverkusen to beat Bayern (won 2-0), my other regular bet I do in Barca games ( a penalty, and Messi, Neymar and Suarez all to score) also came up and to cap a good day personally for myself I had over 2.5 goals in Blackburn game, both teams scoring in Norwich and Hearts games.

Tim, can we hear about all the losers you back aswell inatead of just the winners

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2015 08:25:43
Thanks for flagging up Leverkusen Tim had a great wee win on them actually doubled them with Ronaldo to score first who was huge at 100/30 always produces in the big games especially.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2015 11:04:54
Pete there would not be enough room to post all my losing bets, like all gamblers you are on a rollercoaster with ups and downs, my horseracing tips for example usually go down, while most of my footy tips come up. What I try and do on here is flag up a decent tip I come across like the Leverkusen tip yesterday, or point people in the direction of people with more knowledge than me and who do good research like ED023 (horses) and ED046 (football) you sound bitter, did you lose on your bets yesterday, maybe you should follow my tips more often lol

Agree0 Disagree1

03 May 2015 11:54:55
@JimTim ouch that must have hurt, I never do more than 6 teams and even then I perm them, as you have found out there is always one team let's you down, so I cover my bets. @Fab1 thanks mate good call on Ronaldo, my specialist bet is on Barcelona games, it's amazing the penalties awarded in these games

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2015 14:49:21
Put a fiver one 'daft' acca like that every saturday tim. 3 times this season they've came in so overall i'm sure i'm up on those bets. Thankfully, like yesterday, the cash in at least provides a parachute and I walked away with £24.03 lol so as long as you're taking anything you're winning. As for perming bets think it requires putting quite a lot down for an acca that big, but would I have won for all the other selections!?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2015 16:00:45
JimTim myself if doing your bets I would have split them into two sixes, permed at 5 from 6 = 7 bets @£1 total £7 times 2 =£14 so taking your 11winners from 12 you would have had a 7timer up and a fivefold also even for moderate £1 stakes depending on odds you would probably have been in profit by £90 minimum, which could then to fund your next bets at the bookies expense

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2015 16:11:28
Sorry mate it always throws me when people try to explain things like this. So i'd be betting on one six team acca as well as six doubles for each group of six? But obviously only at a fifth of the stake?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 May 2015 17:18:48
JimTim not really, best idea is go to your local bookies, pick a time that is quiet, and ask them to explain bets to you, my local bookies girls are friendly and you even get a coffee free lol

Big Congrats to all at Celtic.
As I have stated previously, We could have the Genie from the lamp in RD.
Not the best of starts by many standards, however from My point of view we have a TEAM and a Manager that believe each other.

#Champions.

02 May 2015 19:09:24
Do you guys think RD will have full say on who is going and who is coming in? Ed007 would value your input in to this as well please

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - On incoming transfers no chance, Tony, RD will have an input and probably more than NL had because of his track record developing players but it will be Pedro and Park that make the final decisions. I do think RD will have more of a say in who leaves than who comes in, he will know who he can work with and who he can't, then it's up to PL to look at the financial side of it.}

02 May 2015 19:53:52
He won't have a say if some one pays what PL wants for VVD lol but think we're all expecting to loose him including the manager

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Oh definitely when it comes to a player like VvD's exit RD won't have much say in it but I was meaning more with players like Stokes, Ambrose and the squad fringe players like Forrest.}

02 May 2015 20:35:40
So who do you expect to exit Ed?

There could be quite a cull without damaging the first team IMO

Do you expect double digits for VVD?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Oooft... If acceptable offers are made I can see any permutation of Ambrose, Matthews, Lustig, VvD, Mulgrew, Scepovic, Stokes, Forrest, Boerrigter all leaving.
Certainties to leave I'd say is Zaluska, Wakaso, Tonev, Balde, Pukki, McGeouch, Fridjonsson.
I'm still not 100% convinced that Guidetti and Denayer will leave yet and I expect there'll bids for Griffiths, Johansen and possibly Biton.}

02 May 2015 21:13:04
Thanks Ed I was thinking the same thing about Vvd or any player leaving he won't get much say if Pedro thinks its a fair price, Just hoped he would have gave RD a budget to work with without interference apart from the contracts for the players coming in

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - Most managers these days don't really have set budgets and have no idea what clubs pay for players, it's up to PL to look after the financial side, RD probably doesn't know anything about player's wages etc, his job is to concentrate on football.}

02 May 2015 21:40:05
Our manager and everyone else at Celtic have very little say on our best players leaving . The manager may be able to delay the departure of a top player for a window or two but when a player tells his agent he wants to go , their isn't much any one can do.
I would expect Deila and his scouts to list the players they want for various positions and of course Peter Lawwell will have the final decision as it is his job to agree the transfer and the contract .
Wouldn't this be the set- up at most successful clubs . I don't imagine any manager/coach actually signing the new players and agreeing contracts .

I would imagine most managers/coaches would be glad of having someone else to share the blame if the transfers don't all work out .

Agree0 Disagree1

02 May 2015 22:38:31
I would say your certainty list is spot on Ed

Griffiths has got me wondering mate is that to "cash out" on the hassle or is it profiteering? Think if he can just focus could be a stick out for top goal scorer next season

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I don't think LG will leave, Jamie but there will be bids from England and possibly abroad for him.}

03 May 2015 00:53:16
Didn't someone not expect Griffiths to be punted in January . Lucky that for the first time in his life, he was wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - What plonker said that? See if he had listened to me he'd have known that Griffiths was close to joining Hibs on loan.}

02 May 2015 17:23:58
Well done Ronny and the team, champions again. keep them coming.
For me the biggest challenge comes now as some top players might leave and the CL is a must now. He has been in the job nearly a year now so will know better this time. The difference from being a good manager and a great manager will be CL success.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

02 May 2015 20:03:33
I would also like to congratulate Ronny and the team, they thoroughly deserve the title, some of the football we played since Christmas has been excellent.
I'm hoping that Ronny will be allowed to keep the players he wants to keep, and that he'll be able to strengthen a couple of positions, if he is able to do this, then we should have a lot to look forward to next season.
It may not be a popular view, but fair play to Aberdeen, they have been very consistent this season, and it ends the myth that only sevco can give us a challenge,

Agree2 Disagree0

03 May 2015 14:11:59
Gerryc I have no problem agreeing with you Aberdeen have been worthy challengers and I hope they win their last two games and reach 89 points . Next season with a run in the Championship League , we will need more strength in depth than this season , as I don't see Aberdeen going away .

Last night I left Celtic Park in the most optimistic mood I can remember since Tommy Burns days as manager. We were fantastic.Rightly critics would say it was only Dundee, who have caused our nearest challengers trouble all season, but that would be fickle.

There was so much to be pleased with.For me, I was delighted with our possession, clever and constantly moving defenders around.The other impressive thing was our attitude.We were never going to lose that game.From minute one we were on it, sharp and confident.

To the goals, what can you say? I can't remember the last time I seen a game with five goals all of which had a touch of class in them.Biton, finally, caught one right and his run to Effie was excellent and proved this squad have a real team mentality.

This leads me to Ronny.I was a backer of Ronny from day one, as were many on here, as I felt he was just what was needed, a young coach with fresh ideas and a man manager.Griffiths, needed a shake and on other occasions a cuddle.Biton, looked scared and unsure of himself.Now? both thriving and are integral components of the Ronny style. All this guy asked on arrival was a chance to change attitudes, for me both players prove he has something about him our Ronny.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Did you see the video of RD's talk from his time in Norway mate? It's further down the page and is a real insight into how he works.}

02 May 2015 16:15:20
Greenjhedi the team that bonds together , plays well together . The old team in Govan use to have bonding nights in the pub , but that was because Walter Smith wanted company in the pub .

Delia has produced a very fit well organised team that will only improve .

ED. I saw the video and was astonished how much I found interesting.Having sadly had to sit through some of these seminars I found him very engaging and easy to relate to.His points were on the money and, as i, say we might have a real diamond here.

To give him more credit did you notice the substitutions? Fisher and Forrest both on and immediately involved,did he spot a weakness on their left as both went straight down that side? Really curious as to how we come out of the transfer window.For me he must be backed fully. After a bad start Ronny has turned it round but there is a much more important part of this,the bond he has developed with the fans.The boardroom,and by that I mean Desmond,must realise we are on the up.For the first time in my lifetime we should build from a position of strength.

02 May 2015 22:01:34
Green jhedi , we won't be spending big , just hope he gets the players that he actually knows . It appears Armstrong and GMS have bought into his way of thinking from the word go. Hopefully we will get more like them and less like Scepovic and Tonev .

late piece of betting advice for the Bayern Munich game kick off 5.30, they have travelled with only 15 players, mostly fringe players, as they are resting their big players for CL game on Wednesday against Barcelona, so lump on Bayer Leverkusen at around 13/10, they have already won the German title last week so are not worried too much about outcome of this game, I have lumped on already.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

02 May 2015 11:31:02
Morning Ed & all, When we win it what do you think are the chances of seeing Fasan, Tierney, Rogic, Duffy etc?

Surely this is exactly the time to field them with no pressure let us get a better look at them think we would all like to see them get some game time (y)

Believable0 Unbelievable1

02 May 2015 12:40:07
Not sure he will play them all Jamie but I think he will introduce one or two of them in the games that remain but don't think it will be against Aberdeen no matter what the result is today

Agree0 Disagree1

02 May 2015 16:21:20
I would like him to give some young players experience , they will only gain the real experience by playing in. celtic team that must win , making changes just to give young players a run- out doesn't benefit any one .
The need to win everygame is what many players find difficult to do and any less is not good enough .

Agree0 Disagree0

02 May 2015 10:33:14
I thought it was a really good performance last night, it would have been easy to get bogged down in the second half, as Dundee wern't remotely interested in trying to make a match of it.
I bet Sky Tv must be gutted that our second goal hadn't been scored by an EPL team, they would have been replaying it for years.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

02 May 2015 16:25:54
It's funny , I thought Dundee tried to press us up the field when they last came to Parkhead., this time they didn't really get up the field . I imagine Deila would be really delighted with all five goals , all brilliant . Goals like Brown's must be the type of goal all good manager's dream of .

For the punters on here like Jamiebhoy and DN30 among others, today is the final games in both the English and Scottish lower leagues, I anticipate lots of thrills and spills so my footie bets are all going to be BTTS and over 2.5 goals, remember also to check out ED046 on the football rumours bet site for his footie tips, so far he is in profit for the 4 months till end of April of £710 for a £10 stake I would be proud of a record like that so good punting bhoys and let's bash those bookies.

Believable0 Unbelievable2

02 May 2015 09:31:56
Took your advice Timalloy couple of btts bets on for the early kick offs. But people should be aware that guy is extremely expensive to follow. On a sat all his bets can cost about £70 then £40 on a Sunday, add that to 20/30 a day he maybe in profit but your going to be around £200 a week to follow him.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 May 2015 10:40:22
@Garybhoy what I do and I imagine most others is pick one or two bets you like from ED046 and bet with whatever your own particular budget is, nobody (not even the ED46 is suggesting people bet £200) my limit is £25 and I stick to that, even though I am still well in front from both Cheltenham and doing SOME of ED046 bets, bet wisely and with your head.

02 May 2015 11:12:41
