With all this stuff about rankers lets just hope they get what they deserve and show just how tainted their club has been, and forever let Celtic lead the way for the spl in standing up for what’s right and what’s wrong…..put rankers aside, I think Celtic has a problem right now and that is with the keeper problem. I have always liked FF and think he is the right keeper for us but I am worried with this news about us looking at 2 different keepers at the moment. I hope it is just good scouting and business with a back up plan. But I’m worried this means that FF may not sign even though he says he likes it hear and I know he is waiting for the summer to decide if there is interest in him,
So Ed, what do you think the chances are that FF will stay? And do you know if there is serious interest from the epl to give him first team role or something? I think Celtic should do wtv they can to get him signed ASAP! {Ed001's Note - if Celtic match the price he will join, there is not much interest in him at all.}

Ed, i thought Celtic already was willing to meet the 2 mil in Jan but he didnt want to? Also just how long do we have to talk with with him untile the 2 mil agreed prices is up or until other teams could step in? {Ed001's Note - he wanted to wait because he was told there was interest from the Prem in Krul and thinks he might get his chance back at Newcastle.}

Hi Jungle Bhoy mate, the Next Gen is still going on mate, LFC play Ajax in the semi finals at Anfield after Ajax knocked out Barca. Sounds like your lads had a real difficult group but held there own which is good. KB, no worries mate, nice to see you sticking up for 1 of your own. Arty Bhoy Kenny has had 1 bad interview at OT, but other then that he puts the LFC hating press in there place which is great so see as a red. Hope we draw eachover in the CL next season as it'd be a great away day down to Celtic and the atmesphere at both games would be immense.
What's this about Charlie's sister?lol.

Cheers for the reply MRS.E by the sounds of it he's a real talent. Hopefully he will do what the King did and come to us if he's that good ;-) I didn't understand how any Celtic fan could slag off Kenny, it'd be like LFC fans slagging off John Barnes, because of his managment, club legends who should be respected. That's why it sickens me when so called LFC fans complain about him. How is Celtic's academy by the way, has it got a lot of good young players or is this Scottish barron spell continuing? Also were you in the Next Gen series and how did your young lads get on?
I guessed it was Ed lol. He made me look stupid by putting them in his name when I typed it!

Yes they were in the Nex Gen with Barcelona, Marseille & Man City. We gubbed Man City and got a wee home win against Marseille. I would say we held our own against Barca at home but away the difference in class was evident. I see Liverpool are in the semi-final :-)

There's a few coming through the Academy but only time will tell..there was Islam Feruz who you will know went to Chelsea. We have the likes of Paul George, the Twardzik twins and of course Dylan McGeouch. To be fair to Neil Lennon, he has been naming them in the first team squad and giving them game time.

There's defo something missing though in the youth academy set-up in Scotland (in my opinion anyway). I wasn't about in 1967 but would love to see a day like that in my lifetime, winning the Champions League with a team of Scottish players. Mrs E

Some cracking players coming through Smithy.Check out Dylan McGeogh's goal against St Mirren.Celtic have been invited back to the next NEXTGEN tournament, some good results for the young ones but Barca were just too good for us.Do you know if it's still on?Also how did Liverpool get on?Seen their first game against Sporting,played really well i thought.

All of this new info about side contracts and coruption within the sfa brings to mind 2 things the whole hugh dallas issue in 99 were we challenged the sfa and lost could be reinvestigated and the other thing maybe we were never paraniod after all eh?

Why the dig at LFC? Also what's this of putting a * in C*****e A**m's name? You talk badly of the King who was not only the best player we have ever had, also a fantastic servent of Celtic. He has made some fantastic signings, and some average ones like every manager. Adam has the joint top assists in the EPL this season mate so he's hardly a bad player. Ed mate heard quite a lot of Forrest off some of my mates, how good is he and how far could he go, I've only seen little bits of him myself.
Sorry for the small rant Ed mate you know how defensive I am of LFC lol.

I would never slag off King Kenny in a million years ! Not only is he a Celtic & Liverpool legend, he's one of the best players Scotland has ever produced.

I won't hear a word against James, he's a crackin wee winger & exciting too watch. I honestly believe we wouldn't be chasing the treble if it wasn't for him..there was a chance we could have went out the league cup to Hibs. It doesn't matter anyway, he won't be leaving Celtic ever lol. Man Of The Match for Scotland the other night although, I do think he should have been playing in the U21 qualifier instead of a friendly. Mrs E

Thanks MRS.E nice to see you have a soft spot for LFC. Of course you would give them some stick, that's part of being rivals but I'd have thought it would be more about the point swing then them being in financial trouble that's all. Hope you enjoy your day out at the final, I was at Wembley last week and nearly had a heart attack but Liverpool never make it easy for us fans. I apologise if you thought I was having a go I can assure you that that wasn't my intentions.KB I wasn't haven't a pop mate just carrying on a discussion from earlier, you need to lay off that sugar!

Oh believe me, i'm over the moon with the point swing ! I remember going to a halloween party and at Celtic Park that day it was 0-0 with Hibs (my mood was a wee bit down), we had Motherwell at Fir Park the following week. Of course we won 2-1 and the rest, as they say, is history. Got to say when the final whistle finally went on Wednesday 28th December 2011 after what felt like 5 hours injury time, it was fantastic :-).

I think any football fan knows how the bragging rights work. I can say I won't go on about it too much but Celtic have a huge support and I can't speak for the rest of them lol.

I do have a soft spot for Liverpool, they are my English baby. Not keen on C*****e A**m though and his comments in the paper today about not caring whats happening at rangers just show I'm right about him. I honestly thought he wishing them well by kicking his penalty all the way up to Ibrox with a goodwill message on the ball ?!. Mrs E

Afternoon lads, I saw your post on our page Tim thanks for the mention. I enjoy the banter earlier on in the season I was on here giving it the mind the gap 15 points clear bla bla and then the tables turned and it was your turn to gloat. That's the name of the game supporting Rangers and Celtic only one of us can be happy. You can take it and can certainly give it out but big respect for your comments yesterday it was big of you to say what you did. No point being bitter especially at this moment in time I've just got to hope we can get back to fighting you for titles in the near future. I think it's safe to say the next few seasons are going to be tough for us but great for you lot lol

theres a lot of bitterness going around here
cant we show a bit of compassion here ? think of the hundreds of people losing their jobs just normal staff and wer "having a party" whilst they will struggle to find a job for maybe years.
i know plenty of fantastic rangers fans and everybody here is making anybody whos ever wore a rangers top out to be scumbags ?
we have our shames to which i dont wanto start a debate on but still cant we show wer better people ?
hope you post this ed despite its content its the truth {Ed007's Note - We already knew we were better better people, it was everyone else that didn't believe us. Nobody is 'having a party' as people lose their jobs at Rangers, well maybe people who worked for Airdrie will be.}
