Now, though, the 27-year-old claims 'advanced negotiations' have taken place with a European team, but he has been instructed to contain his excitement.

This story is on sky sports about about Aldo De Nigris
Could the team he's talking about be Celtic Let's hope so

He said: "There is a very advanced negotiation with a European team that is interested in me. They have seen me in action during the Gold Cup and have sent a proposal to Monterrey.

'Important'

"I can't say the name of the team, the only thing that I can say is that it belongs to a very important European league, one of the most important ones.

"It's a team that has the chance to play in the Europa League next year. I can't say the name of the team because I have been asked not to.

Good Morning ED007 want to share my experiences yesterday morning (saturday) in Glasgow city centre went in early 9:00am to get in and out before orange walk, saw a nun about 4 feet nothing about 80 years old collecting for charity, I said she picked a bad day to be in Glasgow she just said she was doing "GOD'S WORK" I wished her a good day and as i walked away some idiot shouted abuse at her she looked calmy at him and BLESSED HIM, what class I can just imagine this moron in court "but your honour she "BLESSED ME AGGRESSIVELY" Tony, Billyboy i dont care what religion you are when you see courage like this nun it makes you feel humble. My surreal morning got even better in Bath Street there is a Sikh Temple and as chance would have it a Sikh wedding was taking place just yards from Blysthwood Square were all the orangemen were gathering anyway the groom came down the street on a WHITE HORSE (honest) I was waiting on some orangemen to shout "Hoi that's OUR TRADEMARK All above ACTUALLY happened yesterday Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Morning Tim}

Ed honest opinion who is the better keeper Forster or Alexander {Ed007's Note - I would choose Forster, he is young and look at his record. Alexander is a good GK but I would not like him as my teams No.1. He is nowhere near McGregor IMO}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This one i have to disagree on Ed as like most other rangers fans we dont want to lose mcgregor but if he went and we got good money for him we have seen enough to know that Alexander is more than capable of stepping into his shoes as for forster he is a bit slow at getting to ground for low shots .

Tony {Ed007's Note - You have seen him more than me Tony, so I will respect that opinion mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

Alexander stopped the pens when we went to the Europa league final.And played in other big Euro games that year to.He is a very good keeper.Glad that we have him.Just a shame that he will never make the Scotland squad anymore, being the number 2.But then again Turner did, the ex Everton keeper.He is a free still I think.Maybe Celtic should look at him, he is a big tall keeper.I do not think he has signed for Preston yet.

hy Miko yer man wannabe or whatever his name is is subject to work permit so as yet he is not a celtic player and as for the clowns that dont rate alexander is this because of his goal keeping skills or the fact hes a rangers player i think the later,

Ed you say shay given is a true celtic fan and i believe you but just like all these other high paid players who suposedly love celtic and rangers when it comes to money thats their first love ppl like Given, Gattuso, Keane have made that much money from football they could easily take a pay cut or work for nowt if they realy love the clubs that much.

robbie keane loved celtic wage packet more than he ever loved the club.

why bother with huseklepp hes useless only scored 2 last season and 29 in 118 games in norway. he will be like samaras and fortune. hope de nigris signs hes fairly tall and more importantly for a striker can score

think we are looking at gilks or kucszak as they wont cost anything

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi ed marty bhoy here in answer to the huseklepp thing I think if celtic signed him it would be a more a MCFADDEN role agree????????
not as an out & out striker, seen wee pat today m8? {Ed007's Note - Is McFaddens role not lying on the treatment table? Moneypenny met him in the local petrol station the other day (McFadden, not Pat). I think Pat has fell asleep in the "Heeds" toilet, I got a text saying he was snuggling up to Jamesie Cotter in the 2nd cubicle}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007 De negris seems to be getting good reports dont know much about him - Any info? Also reports say Aston villa offering £3m for Given surely we can match that, yes I know wages will be problem but he is already millionaire and a supposed big hoops fan surely we can at least make offer? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Shay is a real CFC fan, but the money involved in a deal for him would need Dermot Desmond to finance it, I still think CFC don't need to spend that kind of money on a GK, if it happens though fine by me but I would prefer the money was spent on a partner for Hooper IMO}

so its confirmed then Celtic have bought no one yet {Ed007's Note - Victor Wanyama}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He hasnt signed yet {Ed007's Note - The deal is done except for the work permit, which should be a formality IMO}

Agree0 Disagree0

Which means it's not done yet fs haha how can u confirm a deal when the work permit could get turned down haha no point having him if he cant play N I see celtic got beat again today lol {Ed007's Note - I think CFC will have looked into the work permit scenario, he is a young promising player and there has never been any problems with that before. The professional way CFC are conducting their transfer dealings suggests they would not announce a deal unless they were confident of concluding it. As for getting beat today, it is the first game of a pre-season tour and is no more than a bounce game in terms of importance, it is more about fitness, game time, team gelling and squad bonding. CFC have now played a football match with 2 new signings making their debut, while taking the available squad away from the goldfish bowl of Glasgow/Scotland while Rangers are still hunting for their first new signing. I don't think any CFC fans will be panicking just yet. The SPL kicks off in 3 weeks and Rangers have still to bring in a new player so I would say we are gaining ground already.}

Hi Kevbhoy thanks for your comments, getting back to football matters who do you think we will sign goalkeeper wise we seem to be looking at every position except goalie? Me Given would be great but obviously money would be a big factor but if Lenny is seriously looking at Bellamy should that money not be directed towards Given. Heard a wee squeek about thomas cerny of hamilton he would cheap option but is he any better than Zaluska.? Timalloin

my honest oppinion is thomas cerny is the third best goal keeper in scotland behind mcgregor and alexander and im surprised hes still with hamilton if mcGregor was sold i would want alexander and cerny fighting for the no 1 jersey at rangers.

tony

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Heard rumours from mates down in sheffield that we're being linked with paddy kenny of qpr used to be sheff united keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Paddy Kenny any good, not seen much of him?....Miko

Haha Alexander 2nd best in Scotland? Dream on I'd put Randolph in front of Cerni IMO but still both not good enough for 1st choice at Celtic

Player Name Amount/Type To/From
Adam Matthews Free Transfer Cardiff City
Kelvin Wilson Free Transfer Forest

and wernt these guys pre contract from last season

Tony

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Celtic FC - 3 signings.....2 frees and Wanyama

Tony

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I think most of us have probably had relatives who fought and/or died for their country. I have. We all have our opinions on certain things ie Ireland, blah blah blah but at the end of the day these people put their lives at risk for us everyday and the least we can do is appreciate it.

High Ed Highlandbhoy here i like to read these pages but have never commented on them but after reading the guy Tony post i think i agree with him we should all be allowed our opinion.

Take NL for instance i think Neil lost us the league last season he has been tactically naive some of his substitution decision where beyond belief. i don t think he has a plan b when things don t go to plan he makes these weird and tactically naive changes.

i blame the Celtic board for this allowing NL to pick his backroom staff was a big mistake he filled his team with m8s Thomo and big Johan are virgins when it comes to football management what NL needs is someone with a bit of experience there to keep him on track i don t know if Neil is the type of guy to take advice as he seems to be a very determined guy. all that said i think as Neil matures ( in management terms) he will go on to be a Celtic legend (in management terms)

Highlandbhoy {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site, everyone is entitled to their opinion and welcome to post it on here. If we all agreed it would be a very boring world}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

When Celtic won 2-0 at Ibrox last season Neil Lennon contacted Gordon Strachan and asked him for advise. That's where the one up top (Samaras) type system against Rangers came from. Neil openly admits that.

Neil also admits that trying to play an open attacking game against Braga and Utrecht was naive.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet when rangers play defensive against barca/man u we are being negative walter might not have been the best attacking manager but he certainly new how to defend

one other thing Tim i have a philosophy that you get Rangers Fans and Celtic Fans then you get Football Fans who affiliate themselves to a particular club (i class myself in the second catagory)

a lot of these supporters affiliate themselves to each club for reasons other than football they will not have anything negative or derogotory said about thier club regardless of how many facts you put in front of them i know rangers fans who dont think the song we are the billy boys is sectarian and i know celtic fans wh think celtic supporters have a right to burn poppys because of the clubs irish history.

these are the type of ppl who cant see through the green or blue tinted glasses and if this page starts to get over run by them then trust me m8 i will disapear

Tony

i do go on the rangers pages but not that often you should have seen the abuse i got because i stated that i had not used my season ticket for over 6 mnths because i was not going back till Walter Left

i think walter was a legend he won us plenty of prizes stoped the rot of le guen but none the less i didnt like or was used to the style of football being played i did realise that walter could only P*ss with the cock he had and the lack of money was a big factor but i have to travel 4 hrs to glasgow 4 back going to the games was a 12 hour day

going to the football has to be entertaining for me or it aint worth going to. nearer the end of the season it got better we started to play more attacking football with 4 4 2 we should have played that all through the season with maybe 4 5 1 away to celtic or away in europe. i hope ally plays more attacking football we have proved over the last half dozen games that not many teams can cope when we go at them. in my books the end does not justify the means.

when i posted my thoughts i was less popular than the Ant-christ and Neil Lennon lol

hey Tim if you came on these pages and posted negative comments on NL even if you were justified you would get hung m8

Tony

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Morning Ed007 Tony Yes I agree with you about abuse, guy yesterday on gers site said he would not be renewing hi season ticket until he knew players were being signed, the amount of abuse that guy got and told to f..k off and ED0010 allowed was bang out of order, another guy tried to bring humour to the site by saying he would offer £250 for his £500 season ticket some morons were asking WHY? Doh he was playing whyte at his own game Tony i have to say that Ed0010 appears very blinkered only punters who agree with HIS views seem to be published no banter no humour and he allows poison replies to people who dont agree with Official Rangers Policy timalloy {Ed007's Note - Morning Tim}

i have great respect for walter he performed miricals with what he had to work just the fact that i personaly dont like to be too defensive dosnt make me a traitor

saying im not a true gers fan because i dare question our style of play is bang out of order m8

i also dont think british troops should be bombing gaddafi should i be taken out and hung for treason now

Tony why do you not post on your own website never seen your name I think you know you get better treated on our site. timalloyhere guys i think you may have taken my post out of context when i said look at the rangers site and see what real rangers supporters are saying i meant not everyone thinks whyte is our night in shinning armour not all of us stick our heads in the sand and belive everthing is rosey as i have stated im very concerned about our lack of activity but im not at the panic stage yet

and as for coming on here well Tim i like good open debates on certain aspects of the OF very few ppl will give thier honest opinion on sublects due to blind loyalty where as you guys will tell me im talking Pi5h its the same on here m8 can you say something derogotory about celtic even if its true without getting all sorts of abuse thrown at you. thier are certain guys on here who will take of the green tinted glasses and have an honest debate.Tony

Damari deal dead on the water. In all the papers today. If Celtic are going to spend around 2 mill on a striker then go for Goodwillie at least you know he will score 20 goals a season in the spl and thats what we need.
Any good links for the game

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Goodwille would never sign for Celtic. He's holding out for a move to them, straight from the horses mouth.
