ED007 what is your take on the seemingly true stories that Rangers have appointed an agent to tout Jelavic around EPL. If true, surely Rangers must be in desperate straits money wise and also if I was a bear I would be very angry at this, ok wait to see if offers come in but to actively encourage offers is bad for the true Rangers fan. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I think Jelavic's agents would have something to say if Rangers employed someone to do their job.}

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Have you been under a rock for the last year???
Rankers are in Dire Straits and have for sometime man?? WTF
CB

Agree5 Disagree1

My take on that Timalloy is its a bit of Mischeif Making. Don't believe everything the people who write those blogs.

Agree4 Disagree0

True! Also they would have to pay someone else to do a job I'm pretty sure that jela's agent will be doing as we speak!!
I'm with FF on this one bud, mind you FF still has the fantasy that jela will still be there after jan?? Whilst I can assure you there nae chance he'll even be in the same country come February. I'm 100% sure of this as most of Glasgow is also. I think FF is secrectly living in hope on this one bud ;) lo
CB67

Agree1 Disagree0

Jelavic's agent may look for a club for him but clubs do hire Agents to find clubs for players as the players own agent looks after his players intrests and not the club.

e.g . If Jelavic agent took care of it he could tell a club , You offer 5 million and we will put a transfer request in and you can give my player a 1M signing fee and me a 1 Million Agents fee and you still save 1 Million.

Many clubs hire agents independant agents to do this like Man Utd hired a agent to enquire about Kamani many years ago.

It's common practise.

Agree1 Disagree0

Follow Follow 81 , was Jelavic injured today ? he has not been interested for weeks now , he knows he is going , and is not too unhappy about it !

Ed, the only thing I dislike about this site is the agree and disagree buttons. People post about all sorts of things sensitive issues, wishing people well and you get people disagreeing. I can see the point of having it for the rumours but not the banter page. You should do away with it. Just my opinion.

FF81

Believable7 Unbelievable13

I actually also agree with you on this one too FF81 it sometimes just doesn't make sense at all?
I was in New York over Xmas and checked out the site on my new IPad (Did I tell you I got a new IPad FF81??) Anyway I wished all a Happy Christmas and New Year (I also named a few good buds Mrs E and yourself if you didn't notice and Ed ofcourse)
But the day after I noticed there was 3 people who disagreed with me.....WTF Man?? How can you disagree with someone saying Happy Xmas to both sides of the Old Firm??? It's just Madness mate?
It works sometimes but can be a bit funny on some point's from all the Ed's point of view I think it's just a wee part of the programme they have written to use as a tool as a quick Yes or No tool. It's just the usual the idiots always try and spoil it for the rest of us. Actually if you think about it these iliterate SOB's can't type a message that makes any sense or is either spelt right (Like I'm one to talk?) their really only going to be able to tick a Yes or No button eh bud?? LOL
Cheers
CB67

Agree4 Disagree14

Hit disagree just to be annoying.

But nah who the hell cares? An opinion is an opinion. If everyone agreed with everyone else then forums would be pretty boring places to spend your time and getting a different opinion or side of the story might teach you or make you realise something

Hi Ed and all the Mighty Celtic Loyal Fans,What a Fantastic result today with a couple of very good goals also.
It really looks like we're turning into the team we all knew we could become under N.Lennon!!
I honestly think the crucial point of our season was being 3 down to Killie and having the spirit and belief to come back from that as a TEAM!!
So good days are back at Paradise bhoys we couldn't have asked for a better Xmas and New year results for these very important games we have played they've been fantastic!!
I'm Loving it as I'm sure you all are!!
And just wait till the "Shame" start getting dismantled this month?!?! Official Line on Jelavic today was an "Injury"?? yeah sure it was!! What a joke man!?!?!?!? :(
I suppose if they go back as they did in the summer with the amazing buys of Bedoya and Makay we'll be in real trouble LOL!! :)
Regardless of that RUBBISH over the road we are getting ourselves together in great form so keep it up
Mr Lennon and the Mighty Celtic!! You are a TEAM to be proud of!! :)
Hail Hail
(By the way Ed007 Happy New year bud and to Mrs Moneypenny too, All the best for 2012 and ofcourse all the Celtic Family lets make this our year!!)
Cheers
CB67 ;) {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much mate and to you.}

Believable8 Unbelievable0

CB...i still can't settle when Celtic are playing, you would think I have nothing else to worry about ! Hope the lessons from last season have been learned and no complacency. Anyway, tickets on sale this week for League Cup semi-final.. Mrs E

Agree5 Disagree2

Hiya Mrs E Happy New Year Mrs!! Wish you and your family all the best ;)
I honestly think we've properly gelled as a "TEAM" now and will only get better IMO!
So i think you need to calm down we were NEVER threatened at any point v the "SHAME" or today at all!! I seriously think that N.L has instilled a great team Mentality which I knew he would. Not only do we have a great team at the moment but we've got great other player who will be knocking down Lenny's door wanting a game i.e Izzy,Lustig and Bangura for a few not to mention young Dylan and a few more really good kids, so we're on the way up, whilst on the other hand your hubby's eh.....team?? Dependent on who's still there after this month!!LOL
I think your man's in for a torrid time one word for me sums it all up "Novo"?? WTF This year is ours Mrs E i guarantee you that!!
Mon the Hoops
Hail Hail
CB67 :)

Agree5 Disagree2

By the way Mrs E and Ed I got an IPad for Christmas it's soooooooo ACE!!
I'm loving it just now, just really learning how to use it also as it's pretty different from your usual run of the mill P.C. I'm like a wee kid with a new toy! It's ace being 8 years old again. I'm sure that'll ware off by the time I get back to work tho? So I'm a stone heavier wee kiddy at the moment LOL!!
Did you or Ed get anything nice guys??
CB67 {Ed007's Note - Moneypenny got me a Kindle amongst other stuff. I seem to have a personal hygiene problem though judging by the amount of aftershave and Lynx sets I got :-)

Agree4 Disagree0

Alright guys and girls? It wasn't that long ago you were shouting for NL head. See how things can change. I posted the other day that if the league finished on New Years Day Celtic would have just won 4 in a row. But it doesn't. CB67 I like when Celtic fans are cocky like that because it can always come back and BITE you's on the bum. It did with Rangers fans me excluded lol. When big Lafferty went off injured today and Fleck came on it was the best football I've seen us play all season football wise. The build up to Aluko's goal was breathtaking lol. We started playing football because we never had anyone up front to hoof the ball up to lol. I thought Aluko, Wallace, Fleck and Davis were great. Long may it continue.

My daughter has an i pad & now both my sons have an X box (the youngest is only 5!), its ridiculous. I'm off work all this week & what for I don't know, haven't seen any of them since Christmas day lol.

I got a new bag, perfume, voucher for the wee beauty salon I go to (no jokes please) & a new camera !

Hubby is a tad worried about his team but is all about the football so isn't really looking at the whole behind the scenes thing. I can feel him hovering though waiting on the chance to gloat when/if our winning streak comes to an end. Mrs E

Agree4 Disagree0

Hi FF81 Happy New year Bud, your one of the good guy's so I actually do wish you all the best. That's just you all the best not your team tho!!
It's interesting that you say that when Fleck came on you played your best football for sometime?? So why is he Blackpool bound then??
And also what your opinion of THAT wee.....$&£# ovo you can surely do better than that wee toerag?!?!?
CB67 ;)

Agree3 Disagree0

Oh but it wont end!! Will it FF81??
;) CB67 LOL!!!!

Agree3 Disagree0

Hey Ed that may be a polite way of telling you your a wee bit smelly at times?? LOL ;) Class

Oh God here's follow follow........ I don't know if I can be arsed getting into it now?? Anyone fancy helping out? I'm away to sit down for dinner??
:)
CB67

Agree3 Disagree0

Oh that's good to hear that you got something nice for yourself. A Mum's got to get spoilt rotten!! I got mine a wee silver charm bracelet from Tiffany's in New York so she loved that.
But you don't need all this Beauty stuff Mrs E my new IPad2 has a special app that can turn on Web Cams and from what I can see your gorgeous Mrs E!!
As for FF81 I think Gandalf from the LOTR is the best description I can make without being nasty LOL!!!
CB67 ;)

Agree3 Disagree0

Aw FF81, c'mon we had to endure all the Mind The Gap jokes, over by halloween, Rangers & Motherwell in Champions League next season etc. I'm just glad we're no longer 12 or 15 points behind and if we do win the league, it won't be by 'default' !

I won't be telling any jokes, i'm too nervous on match days for that never mind the curse of the big talk - Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree0

Have 2 say CB67 I got an IPad 2 4 my Xmas cos I kept using the missu,s all the time pure quality .".....to get back to the game I didn't think we were great 2 day but the result is all that matters ,don't know who we're signing or who we,re offloading but hopefully we,ll get better and sign the best available but still I don't think NL has his settled team yet.......DH

Agree3 Disagree0

Damn......I drove over it today but I wish I knew what was going on under the forth road bridge there were some real hunnies jumping into the forth for the New Year!!
Can be seen on Eds favorite news paper if anyones interested.??!!!??
CB67 ;)

Agree3 Disagree0

FF81 regardless of football matters at the moment (I'm sure 100% of the Celtic family will agree with me on this) I've said a wee prayer for those who lost their lives at the Ibrox disaster......Gone but never forgotten.
CB67

Agree3 Disagree0

All the best to you as well CB67 and your family but not your team lol. I think with Lafferty getting injured today I think Fleck will be staying put especially with his performance today. As for wee Nacho Novo. As for how much I love the wee man the last 2 years he was with Rangers he spent warming the bench. Is he better than what we've got just now. My opinion is yes the last year and a half he's spent in Spain must have made him a better player. But if it's a straight replacement for Jelavic well No. If its to partner Jelavic well Yes. Can you believe that Bristol City are going to buy Broadfoot off us. They are a god. Lol. It was through him ball watching and not picking up his man on Wednesday that we lost that goal. Only joking Kirk all the best lol.

What did you say Mrs E? Mind The Gap? Tell me if you have heard this joke guys and girls. Rangers are looking to employ a dog walker at Ibrox but only of they can hold on to a LEAD. Rubbish isn't it?
Followfollow81

Agree2 Disagree0

Thanks very much for the well wishes bud it's very much appreciated! But as for the one I shall not even name!! IMO he's had his day and I think that there is younger and better talent out there. I also was under the impression that he hardly got a game over in Spain? Am I wrong?
Also I thought that the Fleck deal was a done deal so it would be hard to go back on and I thought him and Ally didn't get on at all?
Plus are you serious regarding Clubfoot? I can't understand how anyone would sign him.....mind you as a matter for his and his families safety it's the best thing to do IMO.!!! It got a bit silly eh??
Cheers
CB67

Agree2 Disagree0

Hey FF what's your man Goin (Good player by the way) Coming out today......"All the 50 / 50's go against us" Get a grip ya t****r man!!
Surely you must have lost some respect for him after that pathetic comment??
CB67

Agree3 Disagree1

I've heard at lot more jokes than that FF81 but won't be repeating them...don't want the joke to end up on Celtic !

Was that Rangers fan on Sportsound crying a joke ? - Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh nice wee add in there Ed I only put "get a grip" I wonder where the rest of that sentence came from? Maybe that Lynx stuff is giving you a bit more umpf!! LOL!!
Classic Man!!
CB67 {Ed007's Note - That was a sweary you used and I changed, you're not blaming me for that one.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I heard that too Mrs E IMO it's defo a wynd up!!!
CB67 ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Oooppsss soz bud I honestly didn't think I did put anything silly in there!
See that lynx has sharpened up your editing skills already LOL!!
CB67 ;) {Ed007's Note - But don't believe the adverts about woman throwing themselves at you, it happens to me all the time anyway but the numbers haven't went up ;-)

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah I stopped believing those ads along time ago bud. Thankfully I wasn't as stupid as half my mates who actually were stupid enough to give up their credit card numbers to these amazingly stupid ads!!
Cheers for the heads up tho bud it's appreciated.

Guys politely ditch the lynx..its does not smell good ! It goes 'missing' from my house :) - Mrs E {Ed007's Note - There's a tip guys but Mrs it's women that buy us it! Married men/sons just assume that new toiletries will be there when the old one is finished.}

Agree1 Disagree0

True that!!

Agree0 Disagree0

They're only there when the other one's done because we really can't stand badly smelling men ~ Mrs E :) {Ed007's Note - Well our living room floor looked like someone had turned over a chemists for Lynx sets!}

When will all the people posting rumours about EPL players leaving to join us or any other Scottish team realise it aint gonna happen! We are a feeder team now for the EPL and Championship......harsh but true Im afraid!

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Feeder team for championship? eh no. Ledley, Mathews ring a bell?

Agree4 Disagree2

We'll there's either a "Stupid Bear in the wids" or the award for the most stupid post has been won only two days in the new year a F&N Feeder Club?? WTF are you on man??
Ledley had his choice of clubs to go to came to Celts, Lustig the same? And lets just see what happens with the much sought after Portuguese top goal scorer Baba.D? There was a certain Mr Larsson who was one of the best players to grace Britain fullstop. I mean who in their 30's goes to Barca to win them the Euro Cup and was treated like the king he is? Then pops over to a wee club called Utd....think it was Manchester Utd?? I rest my case!!
There was something in total of 50 odd premier league players who came up to watch the MOST Famous game in the World.....The Old Firm Ofcourse!! Ok Nowadays the El Classico is up there ofcourse!?!? But that's mostly down to money, when we operate on a 5% of what these teams do?? But I've watched a good few and never seen the passion and strength and hunger of what an Old firm delivers every time!! And yes there may have been a few managers there also but I think they were looking at the Shames 2 or 3 decent players they have. Plus just today after the game Lenny stated he'd talked to P.Lawell and no one is going anywhere. So come on son get a grip!!:)
Ok Rant over....just pisses me off when I see stupid comments like that?? Ed or Mrs E help me out here??

My Dad was at the game as well & although it was before I was born...doesn't bear thinking about him not making it home that day. Rest In Peace to all those who lost their lives - Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree0

Alright Ed, Timalloy and Mrs E? Did you's all enjoy yourself over the festive period? I did apart from the 28th :-(. My mum and dad told me a wee story about my dad going to that game on the 2nd January 1971 before I was born Ed yes Ed before I was born lmao. He was at that section of the ground and when Celtic scored he left the ground through staircase 13. My dad was out the ground when he heard a roar. Him and his two mates were about to turn back to go in the ground again but thought bugger that trying to push through the crowd. Let's go to the pub. My mum thought he was a gonner. Back then they were no way to get in contact with each other. When he did get home at 12.30am pissed lol my mum slapped him about for not letting her know he was ok.
Someone very close to my family did lose a loved one that day :-(. I'm going on and on here I will leave it at that.
Absent friends never forgotten x

Followfollow81, I went to game without my parents knowing, I was 13/14 and not allowed to those games on my own, my pals and I had no tickets but got a lift over (which you could do back then) anyway when my mum found out I was banned from OLD FIRM games for 2 years, was not even allowed to go with adult family members. My memory of game is Colin Stein robbing us of victory until of course we heard the tragic news.
