Great lies and delusions from Sly Sports : Lee Wallace is international class : Kevin Kyle can hold off the best of them ...both from Andy Walker . : The next amazing chapter in this epic journey.......David " creep " Tanner.......those were just from the first 30 mins , I couldn't take any more.....DH

It was by far the worst game of football I have seen all year and I play in the juniors for ************** I see sevco fans turned up to celebrate their 'history' dressed as seats as well.

Agree10 Disagree1

It was a shocking match to watch. But look at the level the clubs are at. The Scottish fourth division is hardly the Champions League is it? Considering the position of both teams I think the quality was fitting. Elgin will probably always be in Divison 3 and the new club has had to scrape the barrel, signing rejects like Kyle and Black.
They are trying their best to attract new fans, my neighbour got 2 adult and 4 kids tickets free through some youth project his son does. Maybe Celtic should think about giving out more free tickets like Sevco does, it's better to have arse on seats getting in for free than seats sitting empty imo.

Agree3 Disagree1

My bro in law got free tickets for Ibrox the day as well.It could be an idea to give more to schools or youth clubs and get the numbers up especcially at cup games against smaller teams

@1 & 2 sorry but think Green is pulling another fly one, why only "free" tickets in cup games, surely not to give the wee clubs less gate money?
I heard also about buying a programme and getting free entry, gossip? or true? Timalloy
PS has anyone else noticed that the guy Shiels looks even older than his dad? He makes Rooney and Tevez look like male models. ha ha

Agree4 Disagree2

@1 'dressed as seats' is that c**p still doing the rounds?

@2 and yesterdays match against arbroath? Bet the punters who didn't go, 45000 of them are gutted about missing that one!

@3 free tickets? Please tell me where you get them save me a bit of cash for christmas.

Spartak Bear

Agree2 Disagree7

If you contact the club with the details of the council registered youth group you run, they will be able to help you with free tickets Spartak.I don't know if it is only cup matches as someone said but that's a couple of times my neighbour has had them.

Agree1 Disagree0

Spartak bear...it was a the supporters of a div 3 team that started & still go on & on & on about the attendance/dressed as a seat debate. I agree with you though, its drivel ~ Mrs E

Agree5 Disagree0

Fourth tier, part time, Elgin village? From way up north of Aberdeen. And Ally trumpets bring on the SPL teams we fear nowt!
Glad it's all going great for you down there Alastair. Yawn....... Back to sleep.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

He is not a bad chanter but let's make sure he doesn't win.

Agree11 Disagree3

Shamerock letting his cover slip a bit here i feel lol

Agree1 Disagree2

I'll not be voting for him, that's a fact. I hope he gets his appearance money upfront though lol

Agree5 Disagree1

Shamrock your bonkers son lmao.

Agree0 Disagree0

Subo is better anyway :-)

Agree1 Disagree0

He's the only contestant on X factor on an EBT.........DH

Agree6 Disagree0

You lot are pathetic bigots! Ed boot this lot into touch. Imagine if Subo lost support for performing at Celtic park. {Ed007's Note - There is nothing bigoted in the thread.}

Agree0 Disagree0

7} i was at celtic park the night subo sang ynwa . she was f***** ****e . i wouldn't vote for her to go for the curry . so whats your point. shamrock

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 here, ED, your only deceiving yourself, but that's your choice, however as the ED, such views dont set a good example. {Ed007's Note - I'm not here to set any example to anyone. If you don't like it don't read it. There is still nothing bigoted in the thread, it's called a boycott.}

guys , yes we should have won yesterday. but look at the facts. izaguirre, kayal and lassad, played less than a game between them.. and what about this team to beat not just arbroath but most teams in scotland.. forster.. lustig,wilson,mulgrew.. forrest, ledley, commons mccourt,samaras.. stokes, hooper .. just making the point none of these guys featured at all . lenny made the mistake of making too many changes.. ibrahim etc , twardyks etc yes give them a game but 2/3 at a time.. stop worrying.. shamrock

Cannot wait till Anthony stokes is back, missing him bigstyle now, anyone any ideas when he's back?

Believable7 Unbelievable6

I think he's expect to train towards the first 2 weeks of jan.so how ever long from there ?

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Stokes is a big SPL goal scorer.
Partnered with Hooper, they were quite simply unstoppable by any SPL defence previously. Hope he gets back to top tier winning ways ASAP and contributes hugely to winter run in.

might sound daft but does embdy else think that the home performances n results r down 2 the attendances aswel as other reasons ? coz a hink the players are no pumped up or motivated comin oot tae a half empty stadium every game. A wiz at the abroath game n dunno wit the official attendance was a never heard it but didny look anymore than 14/15,000 yet away games its more packed more hostile atmosphere makin it easier for the players tae git pumped right up for it fir example motherwell, aberdeen n hearts yet these wee teams at home we totally struggle. Dont blame the fans tho coz current climate with ticket prices n travelling its hard 2 afford it every home game.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Gunniebhoy,
I was going to post along the same lines - could it be Celtic Park itself that is the problem? ie lack of atmosphere / fans?
Interesting to hear any more opinions......kbt1978

Agree2 Disagree0

Am startin tae hink it is parkhead kbt people might think its stupid but why do we always look pumped up n motivated and ready 2 fight for every ball on away games yet at home we just sometimes look uninterested and lothargic

Lack o the green brigade. they are "the jungle". Celtic park is never the same without it.

Agree3 Disagree0

Get free tickets to schools, including teachers. Empty seats are no good for anyone.
These kids are the future paying fans and if they don't attend as kids they won't just start turning up as fans when they get jobs.
I know guys who support Celtic but never been to a game, they never went as schoolboys. Watch it in the pub, passionate but never been.
Invest now in future paying fans.

Agree2 Disagree0

These boycotts annoy me , i bet there wont be one for the spartak game. as usual i wont be there. i am not a season ticket holder , or a member of a supporters club. i go when i can , or when i can get tickets. which is to league games or domestic cup games. i'm pissed off sitting in 15/40 thousand crowds and always struggling to get tickets for the big ones. i go to a lot of qualifying cup games but seldom get a ticket for the finals at hampden. so think yourself lucky that you can pick and choose . stop the boycotts.. shamrock
