back to LYRICS index

Right said craigo, both of us together, one each end and steady as we go
tried to sell it
people seemed to smell it,
Tried to to shift it, couldn't even lift it, we was getting nowhere
And so, sally n me
had anothur cup of tea

Right said craigo, fone up duff n duffer, theres paul murray from the floor below ,
sale sharks, blue knights,
fkn cops wae blue lights
we was gettin nowhere & so,
so sally & me had another cup of tea,

so minty said to me,
its as plain as you can see
here's the pound that you can buy it
a said "dont you even try it!"
he said what we got to lose?
ah'l say you plied me full ah booze

administration even liquidation
we was gettin nowhere,
as you can see
that we can cop a plea?
so ah said righto!

so murray had a think and he thought we ought,
to sell off all the "seasons"
for 24 million reasons,
but it did no good, well I never thought it would

Right said whytey lets get out of blighty'
at the castle, gettin loads of hassle,
riviera seems the place tae go,
"no fit person"
even archie macpherson,
wur lining up tae have a go at me

Right said craigo, gonna have to let go,
off to sunny fkn monaco,
got no money even with ma honey,
we waz gettin nowhere n so,
so craigo said to me"you want another cup of tea.
n I said right oh

with wee sally I was gettin pally,
wee durranty had tae watch ma aunty
poor wee sowel, even ken mc dowell,
we was gettin nowhere,
so minty said right am gettin oot the s**te,
n I said righto!

so sally said craig,ah no am being vague,
but av got this kind of feelin,
if we borrow thru the ceiling,
but am at a loss, hey fkit your the boss

am banned as a director
fkn tax inspector,
& ah think that they've found,
its a penny in the pound
demonstrations even remonstrations,
they were gettin nowhere,
& so....
till next season,
theyl get me done fur treason,
we was gettin nowhere & soooooooo
well sally fk me,
we're in division 3,
n he said righto!!!!

I'll said to sally, we'll just have to spend a couple of seasons in div 3 then 2 then back in the premiership, then champions league,l
You see the trouble with duff n duffur is theyre too hasty
Now you never get nowhere if you're too hasty.
mark ma wurds ma sun,

Said it before ill say it again
Scott Brown = Roy Keane(in his prime)
only difference is Brown is faster and can go by his man
i love to watch the guy lifting trophys {Ed007's Note - I'm a big fan of Brown but let's not get all hallucinogenic about it.}

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Halo whit huv you been oan the magic mushrooms ed? {Ed007's Note - Never wee man.}

Agree0 Disagree1

I'm a massive brown fan, love the guy, but as good as Roy keane in his prime? Don't be silly lol. Keane was one of the best central midfielders in the world for years...broony good as I think he is has a long way to go to be that good.

ED007 when is a charity match NOT a charity match? Answer, when RFC (IA) organise it. Actually saw on RFC Official site them praising the attendance at this match and boasting that the RFFF was boosted by it. Then on Rangers site today, a bear saying how "proud" he was at 47,000 turn out. Is it just me or have they "forgot" that the prostate cancer charity lost out on over £100k because RFC (IA) took the money.
Bears please look up definition of word charity and also words like
dignity, brass neck etc... Timalloy

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Timalloy i have been reading most of your posts and it is very clear you are a twisted bitter little man you say things in the pretense of it being banter but it is clear to me and almost everyone who reads your posts that you have a deep deep hatred for anything Rangers and you would be happy to go to your grave next week if Rangers died this week. i pity someone who harbors such hatred inside

Pad

Agree6 Disagree8

"pad" seems I have another stalker, following my posts, you are the one on here trying to start arguments, if you want to debate come on then, do you agree with a "charity" match NOT GIVING money to charity. Timalloy

Agree7 Disagree4

Ipad thats rite pad, whits yur furst name f*nny?

Agree5 Disagree2

So then Pad, you think it's right that a charity match is organised, and then because Rangers are in the sg1t financially, Rangers are given some of the gate receipts. Well, it is simply disgusting.

Don't see how Timalloy's view of this is bitter. Perhaps you are realy revealing your own character here, defending the inexcuisable.

Agree3 Disagree2

Well pad (should be f*nny pad) after reading those comment you made to timalloy! Rangers f*** up, again, need helped out, again, and this time screw it out of a charity! Wake up and smell the Irish coffee!

Chico19 {Ed001's Note - how did they screw it out of the charity when the charity was the one that made the offer to refuse their cut of the proceeds? The charity would not exist without Rangers, so they wanted to do their bit, it is up to them, though personally I would say Rangers should have found another way to raise the money instead of accepting.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Did a prostate cancer charity not lose out on £100k?

Chico19 {Ed001's Note - no, they never had it in the first place. I think you are looking for reasons to bitch that aren't there. There would have been no charity without Rangers, let alone one to reject the offer of the proceeds from a football match, that also wouldn't have been able to take place without them. Surely you can understand that the charity want to do their bit, because they will probably vanish if Rangers do, which means no one will benefit.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok my apologies. I am more of a believer that a charity to find a cure for cancer is more beneficial than any football club. The news of stan petrov's illness brings things into perspective and makes you think what's the point!

Chico 19 {Ed001's Note - I do agree with you, in an ideal world this wouldn't happen, but the charity have taken a long term view that, if Rangers fold, they will end up following them. It would certainly be difficult to maintain a charity so closely associated with Rangers. Charities make these kind of decisions all the time, most will spend a huge percentage of any money made investing in unrelated projects, in the hope of a long term income for the charity. I remember when, as a kid, me mam would tell me not to give any money to Oxfam because less than a penny in every pound actually went towards helping people.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's the names of the trustees of the rangers charity foundation 1/ craig whyte 2/ martin baine 3/ john greig 4/ jaqueline gourlay. Now Ed001 are these the people who decided not to give the proceeds of the 'charity' match to the prostate cancer charity? Did rangers pay tax on the income? And do you not find it strange that 3 of the 4 have been accused of financial wrongdoing yet are allowed to make that decision without anyone in the media questioning it?
RabBhoy {Ed001's Note - accused is different from proven. I believe they would have to be removed if they were found guilty of financial wrongdoing. Hard to be sure, Scottish law differs slightly from English, so it might be one of those cases. I do agree the media, if they were doing their job, should be looking into who made the decision. It is a strange one, that is the kind of thing I would expect to be everywhere.}

Question to all you Celtic Fans out there who are sitting hoping Rangers Liquidate.

cast your mind back to December when you beat Rangers 1-0 at Celtic Park, think of the buzz you got. It probably kept you going right up to new year. now think of the weekends game against St Johnstone, did you get that same adrenalin pumping threw your viens when your team where on the attack. did your excitement reach fever pitch when the ball hit the back of the net the way it did when Ledley scored against Rangers.

i think if you are honest with yourself the answer will be no. you are not unlike many Rangers supporters beating anyone is good but beating each other is unbelievable. if Rangers liquidate then those moments are gone, yes most of you will remember them and look back with delight, but what about your children or your Grand children they might never have those wonderful memories to talk to their children about. i think what im trying to say is
BE CAREFUL FOR WHAT YOU WISH FOR

Pad

Believable1 Unbelievable11

I would give up watching celtic play rangers in a heartbeat if i could click my fingers right now and rangers would be gone it would be done praise be to god and grant me the power to shut rangers forever amen

" if Rangers liquidate then those moments are gone "

The disappearance of the bile and the bigotry far outweighs these moments . By a long shot .

Agree5 Disagree0

Pad , Rangers are not in a position to pay their debts , they must be punished some way , so liquidation (Erasion of all history) and reformation as a newco back in the SPL with 10 point deduction each season and no European football for 3 years will have to do , we dont want yous to disapear all together , but yous cant expect to carry on as if nothings happened m8t , your club has done wrong .

Agree6 Disagree1

This guy like all of them have the same argument.... that is no matter what they did they should be forgiven all because they think they are bigger then everyone. yes the games btw us is great but thats not going to save yous, for if you didnt CHEAT we would not have to worry about losing the best derby/old firm match in the world. Stop trying to find sympathy or act modest because fact is your club brought this out on everyone and most would like to see yous go because yous are CHEATS and corrupt and would try and do it again for your club is tainted now and forever as CHEATS as well as a vile club.

so when your talking to your children/grandchildren make sure you tell them the truth about your club and not just what you think of it, for you will be making them delusional and be putting up your own smoke and mirrors that you fans are facing now...WAKE UP.

Agree5 Disagree0

Well Pad, looks like your points been well and truly answered. Trust us.......no matter what you all think ....you WONT be missed.

A bigoted organisation with bigoted supporters - the sooner they liquidate the better.

Taking Eggs Benedict of the menu just shows what a pathetic vile club you support. AS I say, pathetic, and god ridance to you.

".no matter what you all think ....you WONT be missed."

They dont get it . To a man , they just don't get it . There's a limit to the amount of bile you can endure , that limit was breeched many , many moons ago . To now turn aruond with this " nudge , nudge , Ach yeed miss us really " p1sh , is absolutely galling .

rfcfan - Ach yeed miss us really
cfcfan - Really ? what would we be missin ? Cheatin or tax dodging ?
rfcfan - Nah , the banter , the visit tae the big hoose !
cfcfan - On yer way William , that's plenty .

It may be a little premature but I think we should be thinking about who stays and who goes for next season. I was pretty shocked when I looked at the size of squad that we have and the players on loan. 9 on loan in total with only two I would take back. Toshney as he looks like a very good prospect and Keatings because so far he has also shown good promise. The rest of the loan players I would release if I could with perhaps the exception of D O"D but reports are he wants to leave. So 2 or 3 out of 9 tops should stay. Out of Contract players are adding up. Cervi ( I hope OOC) Majstorovic, Cha, M Wilson and Loovens. I would not offer new contracts for any although I am sure Cha can do a decent job for someone somewhere. Midfielders, Paddy, I would let him find a club, Ki is not best suited to our game so any decent money I would take( although I personally rate him highly). Juarez I would pay to see the back of him a complete failure as a Celt. Forwards that can go, Rasmussen as I heard he was the worst footballer anyone has ever seen in a hooped shirt, Bangura as I dont know anything about him and Brozek as he has hardly kicked a ball and is obviously enjoying the Glasgow welcome from his Polish brothers here in Scotland. thats eleven of the present squad out with 7 of the present 9 on loan also cut from the playing staff. It sounds harsh but if anyone cared to look at the colective minutes played in the first team by these players this season you would find it shockingly low. Players in my opinion should be played or released/sold. Young players should be given more time but if a seasoned pro is not getting game time when fit he should be sold or released at the earliest opportunity.

Watching the game on Sunday i was shocked at how ordinary so many of our players looked.Flashes of sammi apart, there was a lack of urgency and movement was again poor. The most worrying thing for me is so many teams show more accuracy and pace in their passing than us.Even after the second goal i never thought we were comfortable.Teams are starting to realise that we are letting them play, but at the start of the winning run we started shutting down when we lost the ball.In that respect Kayal has been missed, but Brown has played really well recently to help cover. The age of the team will no doubt be a factor of this edgy, nervous play as they need to close the title out.Still a huge season end to look forward to,with a hard semi final against a highly motivated team being a crunch. In Lennon we trust? ALWAYS..........green jhedi

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Totally agree green jhedi, been thinking the same for the past 3 or 4 games no hustle or fight to get the ball back when we lose it,i just think its tiredness would like to see some fresh legs in the team over the coming weeks, think Commons its an example of having fresh legs in the team as he has been one of our best players the past couple of games.MACCA

Agree3 Disagree0

I agree, we have not started a game well a long time and while I cannot fault the great run we put together - that will win us the SPL - I think we depended on certain guys too much, when we have such a huge pool of players. Obviously you don't want to change a winning team etc. But we seem to have a few that seem 'burnt out' or carrying knocks?
I would certainly like to see the team playing with a lot more style and confidence at what they call the Business End of the season and I wonder if pressure and inexperience is a factor.
NL has had a lot on his plate again this term and I really would prefer to see a better qualified assistant or backroom to share the load when things get tough.

Have to say that after watching Celtic yesterday -I don't think all the players are fiving their all for Neil Lennon. Is it the case that when u are working for your friend, you do not give your all.? I see Neil Lennon more as a pal than an actual boss ie Martin one ill, Alex ferguson, Walter smith.

Believable0 Unbelievable7

Hopefully from now Neil will be free from
court cases and will galvinise the team to
get back to playing the game with style. 1 point only needed but the team should
be working hard to win EVERY game till
the end of the season. Wonderful tribute
to Stan yesterday. CM

Neil has had a lot to contend with. Give him a break.
