Fraser Forster saying he'd do anything to get in the England squad and not ruling out a move away. I don't like how some players use us as a stepping stone to get noticed by premier league clubs but that's how it is. Papers linking him with a £4m move to Sunderland. I'd like to think we'd get more than £4m for him. Although he has improved a lot, I think he is replaceable and wouldn't be disappointed if he went.
Would anyone take Shay Given on a free? He'd only be a short term replacement for a couple of years but that's what it'd be like whoever we signed.

Once again Trapattoni has ignored Ireland's best striker. Stokes should be a shoo in to that team when you see what has been selected ahead of him.

Have a feeling that Big Forster will be off this summer, he seems to be making all the right noises for a move South. Be a loss to us for sure but I reckon there's great keepers out there so he is replacable. Think we missed the boat with Randolph though, fantastic goalkeeper.
If, as it seems Hooper goes then I hope all the Johnny Russell rumours are true. This boy is a fantastic talent and will score plenty with the service Celtic can provide. We really need to get him and not slip up again ie Steven Fletcher. Still think we need another striker, target man, strong type although I think Stokes will be phenomenal next season. Any ideas on possible strikers? Seen Amido Balde linked again but don't know much about him.
Overall, fantastic season. Tough for the Players to lift themselves every week after playing in big CL games and I don't think Lennon always picked the right team or made the right subs but it's still a learning curve for all invovled.
Have one major concern and it's James Forrest, although he's been injured a lot of the season, I just don't see how he merits a place every week. Anyone agree?

I keep hearing all this talk about us signing tonev from Lech surely this a bad move on behalf of the club. Celtic atm have Wanyama, Brown, Ledley, Kayal, Commons, Forrest, Rogic even at times this season we have seen lenny go with Sammy and Mulgrew in the midfield surely to god we don't need another 1 in the arrival of Tonev. Would it not make more sense to add to the squad were we are weak such as LB Izzie really has no competion there other than Gershon who hasn't set the world alight and it seems he will be going back to Standard Leige. Also I look at our Foward Line Hooper, Samaras, Stokes, Miku, Lassad, Watt its crazy how can someone like James Keatings be expected to break into our team. These young players we have at the club have dominated Scottish under 19 football for the last 4 years and and the end of it they are either shipped out on loan or realesed. I've watched numours under 20 games this season and have been impressed by a number of players the young lad George the guy who broke his leg I believe has been outstanding but hasn't got a look in at the club how do we keep these kids motivated if they see the club signing more and more players in their position surely it must reach a stage for them when they just say to themselfs am I ever going to get a game here?

Johnny Russel and Amido Balde both being strongly linked with moves in now. That'll do me until serious cash is generated from any potential departures. Russel can operate in the pocket and stretch a defence whilst for a giant, Balde is good with the ball at his feet. Tonev looks like a quality passer and capable of doing so whilst travelling at speed but is apparently stalling as offers from Malaga and Werder are being made.

Whats the thoughts on bringing him in, obviously would need to take a pay cut but I believe he could get back to his best given game time.

The EDL, a right wing group of xenophobes who constantly have a go at Celtic via sevco outlets, Have upset the wrong people. Anonymous have let it be known they are now targeting them. Anyone familiar with Anonymous and their operating procedures will know this means problems for the race hate group. Still, good news for the rest of us eh!

Well seasons over and has been pretty successful winning the double and the euro run would just like to hear what we realistically feel Celtic will spend over the window and what areas it should be spent on feel personally we need commanding cb out ant out winger and also a strong cf and obv if Forster leaves a keeper I feel this shouldn't be out our reach on another point I've read few people saying how good brown was and that we didn't miss wanyama and I agree brown was excellent but I would still like wanyama to stay for Europe as I just feel he performs better in Europe than brown who can still be a little rash against better opposition

Aleksandar Tonev will make a decision on his future within the next 24 hours. With a number of teams interested, I wonder if CL games will be enough to lure him to Glasgow. Who would like to see him with us? Or, would you rather have somone else? I for one would be quite pleased to have some business completed right away.
