Ed was going through all the players out of contract and don't think I would give any of them a new one. Might give Cha a new one depending on how Lustig settles. Have I missed any one out.
M. Wilson
Cha
Loovens
Big Dan
McGinn
Zaluska

Daz the Hoopy {Ed007's Note - Seems about right to me Daz.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Cha shouldn't be playing for us the now.
Defo weak link
Cb

Agree3 Disagree0

Cha was brutal today, i was so glad Lennon saw the same as everyone else in the stadium and hooked him....can't remember a pass that found a celtic jersey

i agree with the list though, let them run their contracts down, at most we would get around 3m for the lot

another good result for us today while playing well below par.

thought far too many passes went astray, and big vic had his worst game in the hoops, still we could have actually won by 5 or 6 if hoopers goal stood and a couple off the post went in, 2 really good shouts for penalties as well

all in i'm quite pleased, while we never quite got out of 1st gear, we still showed that we're able to put the ball in the back of the net and like i say, it could have been more

What's the chances of maybe getting above the ton mark points wise this season. If we keep it going the way we are?
TT 88

Believable8 Unbelievable0

38 games per season = maximum 114 points.

24 games played, 59/72 points taken, 13 points dropped.

We'd need to win every game.

Cheers for doing the mathes bud, not my strong point. I'm an accountant at lol.

Hey everyone from NZ,

1st time post....... anyway, I believe that the arrival of Brozek will help to strengthen attacking options and he looks like a good player from the youtube clip posted earlier. Also, with him being a full international it adds to our strong position of 4th in European clubs with percentage of international players. This shows that the club has strength and experience even for a young team. This bodes very well for the future! -

www.celticfc.net/newsstory?item=2061

Many have slated Peter Lawwell but I believe that he (and the board) have guided the club very well indeed and should be applauded. Our strong position has been achieved even with SPL constraints and economic downturn.

Many people in the English game knock our league but you don't have to look far to see problems brewing in their system especially with new UEFA rules about debt, etc. news.sky.com/home/article/16157046

The amount spent in this transfer window is notably well down compared to last year (even with a day to go).

Cracking site ED, keep up the good work mate :o)

Cheers

I think that big Rogne will become a fantastic player shortly, he has great pace, good header of the ball and good positional play IMO. Defo one who will grow into the role, mind he is still very young.
Plus sign big fraser up ASAP I'll admit I wasn't sure about him but the last few weeks he's been amazing, I think we can all agree on thst one.

So it's everton who r the latest team who r after jela now? Guess its the closest he'd get to Liverpool that's for certain! Lol. I thought it might have been an idea to put kris on for jamsey as he had a very queit game today. But this is all down to the fact he's thinking about his new flat in London ! Aye right? Honestly some of the stuff that gets put on the net is just crazy! Anyway job done today. So much for their striker he had El nightmare, he was shocking. The guy they gave the MOTM to did have a great game I see that lot have noticed this too but he'll be out their price range lol!
Think the final will be good now, killie r a good team n they'll be up for it big time. But I think we've clearly learnt our lesson and won't be messing about this year that's for sure.
Cheers

Just back from game via few sherbets en route got to say brilliant that we,re in the first final of the season ,thought the no 10 for Falkirk was excellent today and made me wonder why we've not got a Lubo or Naka in midfield to make telling passes or just that wee bit of magic that we were always used to .........DH {Ed007's Note - Ibrahim will do that job hopefully DH.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Agreed ED but who do u think he should come in for ."..."..DH {Ed007's Note - Now that I don't know, he could play out on the left coming inside I suppose. Or off the front two in a 4-3-1-2 formation, again though he offers something different from the norm that we have.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Yep, I can't wait to see this guy. NL doesn't just give out 3 1/2 year deals to just anyone after 45 mins. He would of done a job today.

Evening ED007, was at game today (despite what bears say I am well up to date with football stadiums and I thought Shawfield was looking good today) Also going to next home game at Parkhead, er ED007 can you give me coordinates for Kerrydale St for my sat nav would be appreciated LOL
Did not know about offside goal or penalty claims until I got home, but still a good result. Thought Cha was poor today and even Izzy was not great, he gave the young lad acres of space to run into.
Let's beat Killie now for first part of Lenny's treble hail hail Timalloy
PS heard that Mr Whyte made various promises to make Rangers a force again, sadly he misheard and is well on his way to making Rangers a FARCE again!

Steady eddy. You'll be on a F.A. charge and an 8 game ban if you don't watch it.
The Real KB ;-d {Ed007's Note - Did you see the 'racist' post last night? Some people just have no sense of humour. Look how pathetic this clown looks, look down the page to: 29 Jan 2012 00:12:13.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I though KB would be rubbing it in. Got to say I was surprised u got beat from them I think it's their poorest team for years.
Soz Ed
Cb {Ed007's Note - I agree CB, the team is needing some quality additions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think just a couple of additions ! C'mon 2 Manchester teams in the space of a week...I think a cup double is on the cards :-) Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo, leaving it very late. Do u think they'll make a move before windys shut? I don't IMO.
Cb {Ed007's Note - I doubt it now, the main target is 'not available'. Whether it is money, his club not willing to sell, I don't know, I think it will be the summer now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

LFC's poorest team CB ?
I can't be laughing too much, my wallet's got GBH mate this past week. Worth it though !
Though the mrs is going mad.

It's like duelling banjos, bantering with u lot.

Lol. Sorry, just the way I read it.
I need some kip tbh. Late night wed and no sleep last night. I'm getting too old for that caper now.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Good party then mate?}

Agree0 Disagree0

No probs bud, I've seen some of your eh 'work" over on your site you can banter with the best of them mate.
Cb

Agree0 Disagree0

Got National Express coach on sat to game, back today, first thing, straight from town.
I dunno what it's like following Scottish football, but it's a rip-off down here. Have ordered a Wembley ticket..no foreign holiday put it that way.
D.I.V.O.R.C.E. mate, nearly.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Good stuff KB. Up here if you support CFC or Rangers the price of a ticket shoots up for away games etc. Some of the sh1ttiest grounds up here charge you crazy prices for a game. Murderwell are one of the worst and their ground is a tip, and don't even start me on Swinecastle!!!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Still tho Ed, the money that KB must spend is just crazy, what was it I heard....Chelski ticket was around £100 wtf absolutely fkn mental!!
Cb {Ed007's Note - Never mind tickets CB, what would Keano say about this 100% true, a friend phoned up to make sure:

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha, ta CB. The Mrs says she is becoming a 'Football Rumours' widow.
I think I'm going through the mid-life crisis mate. I was even thinking of getting one of the old Adidas cagoules for when it's warmer. Once over you get to, from, and in the game for £20 tops. In fact, I spent a year on the nat king cole and still went to games (85 mind). But, unless you're a season ticket holder, it is a rip-off gravy train. Websites charging Liverpool fans 500 sheckles for a Wembley ticket. Terrible.
The Real KB

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh CB, I can't and don't go all the games by any means. It's too expensive and I've got other commitments. I just go the soft touches ;-)
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - *rolls eyes* 19 and counting KB.....you still going to sleep chanting 'next year...next year' ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow, that's just mental mate! The thing is as long as there's no shortage of punters coming thu the gates they'll get away with it. But for these websites oh.... Don't get me started man! These lot r scumbags.
Mrs is calling herself an IPad widow! Thing is she hit it fir us too ! Lol
Cb

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha you pair are classic. Keep it up guys great fun. KB it's just the tims for me mate. Love the premiership, great to watch. N as u mentioned earlier for the cash I'm paying to sly sports it should be good too! Lol
Seriously tho, I'm just short of a ton a month for it, that's phone, tv n net too
Still ridiculous money tho. But I still pay the basts!
Cb {Ed007's Note - Is that including your porn bill?}

CB {Ed007's Note - Knowing women it wouldn't have cost anything, Mr E will have paid for it.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol ur asking for it man!
Cb

Agree1 Disagree0

BELIEVE ME...I pay for my own Celtic tickets lol. I was £15 for me & £5 for my son, a grand total of £20 ! I couldn't let Mr E pay either as he would find out how much I pay over a year on Celtic and I could be heading for the divorce courts Mrs E {Ed007's Note - No chance, who would do the washing/cooking/ironing/cleaning/clear the guttering/cut the grass? Us men do need women you know!}

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol Ed u r a star, exactly what I say to Sarah. Class. That's actually a great deal there Mrs E I thought it would be more. Why they didn't give us an extra 10/15 k tickets god only knows? The sweet FA at its best ya monkys

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at ur house during an old firm game? Lol! Do u actually watch it together. Or I suppose you'll prob be there tho.
Still must be an Interesting household with you both supporting the other half.?
Cb

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't watch it together CB ever ! He's actually not that bad with all that carry-on but his brother is a nightmare and getting worse as he gets older which can be quite hard work. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

If its a Sunday, which it usually is. Plus if the actual worst happens Sunday dinner is cancelled.
My mum used to hate it but she's used to it now, my Mrs thinks we are all nuts?
Cb

My Da usually ends up something like Ozzie Osborne after these horrible days! Great thing on telly now of Ozzie n his antics back in the day on the now.
Cb

Agree0 Disagree0

Ach i've thru my Celtic toys out of the pram a couple of times but I believe I was justified in doing so ! I have the kids on my side as well.. The last game he kinda annoyed me was the Motherwell game, seemed to sing well, well super well for what seemed liked an eternity then Paddy worked a bit of magic & Hooper scored :-) Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha classic, so all the kids r on the right side then yeah?
How many do u have n how many do u take to the games?
Cb

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course they're on the right side CB, they know who the boss is ! I just take the one with me...he's 13 but trying to ditch me so he can sing & jump about when he wants. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah that's good, yeah you need to keep him with u for a few more years yet, just IMO.
Good stuff tho, ur a good mum that's obvious

well that was poor! thru tho n i suppose in a semi thats all that matters.big vic was poor(nerves?)forrest starved of service n never went hunting and lots of slack play.on the upside,rogne was immense in both boxes and brown starting to look like a celtic captain.big credits to falkirk for playing the game in the right manner but elvis ruined it in his post match.wee warning signs for me tho as i dont think were playing well just now,but a final on the go!! green jhedi

Believable5 Unbelievable0

I feel we're lacking a wee something & just hope the new signings give us that ! Gave Falkirk too much time with the ball and space at times. ICT & Hearts away next..

Was the 1st goal offside, never thought anything of it at the time but seen a few comments suggesting it wasn't ? Mrs E

Agree2 Disagree0

@Mrs E.i was in the main stand n seen the guy at the back post playing him on,poss the lino's line of sight(havnt seen tv yet) was blocked. green jhedi

Agree1 Disagree0

My first instinct was that he was off but he was actually a good yard or so onside. Poor decision.

Agree0 Disagree0

We were in the East Stand but my eyesights not the best anyway. I'll just have to watch my favourite football fest..Sportscene later. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

It was clearly onside, which u will see in tv. Ridiculous decision but hey what's new?

Well done Celts on getting to the final. We were on a hiding to nothing against Falkirk who did great.
Obviously it is very rare for all the Bhoys to play at their peak every week but we had enough about us and Stokes deserves a @Final' place after that.
Can't afford to get too complacent as the league is still tight at the moment and we've won nowt yet.
Ledley, Commons and Ibrahim etc can boost midfield options in the run-in as can Mathews and Lustig at right back as Cha and Ki are eratic at times and wee James Forrest has to be protected from burn-out, although he is a major player most weeks.
Keep it going Bhoys - I just can't get enough.

If a refree gets a game in euro/world cup in the next couple of years then honestly what's the world comming too!

The amount of hand balls he miss was unreal. As for cha... Why is he even in a Celtic shirt? Guy is a one trick pony,think if when the summer comes just let him go. A big ask for izzy but played ok the 1st half. How mathews never started I'll knew know. Forrest done a good 1st half but 2nd half well for the 1st 2min anyway thought he was still up the tunnel.

Anyway looking forward to tomorrows papers as there will not be a word printed about the blue flair that Falkirk fans set off.

Anyway that's enough doom & goom lol we done what rangers couldn't...beat Falkirk & make a final lol brown looks good once again so here's to 13 in a row :)

Why didn't the SFA release another 10,000 tickets to Celtic rather than have all those empty seats at Hampden?If my counting is right then that would have been an extra £150,000 for them.

Jungle Bhoy.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Fair point, the SFA yet again show themselves as the clowns they are!
CB

Agree2 Disagree0

Not sure our allocation even sold out and they were released on general sale.

Nonetheless they could've sold all the tickets for a slightly reduced price to both sets of fans and made a bigger profit. The sections occupied looked near enough sold out. A lesser cost for Falkirk fans overall so more may have gone, more Celtic fans might've been tempted along and from further afield to a less than glamourous tie (I was at the Aberdeen semi last year - could've fit a small country's population in there) and more neutrals might've decided to go.

Or hell, flog them around the schools for a fiver.

Does any1 else think Forrest looks uninterested today maybe he thinks he should be playing for spurs lol

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Forrest and cha were the 2 worst players on the park, why the hell cha gets a game its a total mystery

Agree2 Disagree2

Shut up, spurs! What u on about. I seriously doubt that was even in his mind at all.
Just didn't have a good game!
Cb

Agree3 Disagree2

Cha is the weak link defo
Cb

Agree4 Disagree0

Thought Izaguirre was the worst player on the park. Terrible touch and passing, did little going forward and too often just let passes (albeit slack ones) drift out of play instead of making an effort to get the ball.

I don't blame him for the goal but nonetheless was rightfully subbed at half time.

Agree2 Disagree0

I can't believe some people on here are giving wee forest a hard time. He has one quiet game! The boys 20 years old and has been carrying that team for most of the season. He had 1 quiet game, so whit, just leave it that. Markiebhoy.

Agree3 Disagree1

Izzy looked unfit, Wanyama was very slack, Forrest was quiet, Cha's delivery is awful. Brown was our best player.

How can the linesman give offside,when hes not even up with play.that was shocking

Believable2 Unbelievable1

To be fair when it actually happened I thought he was offside so didn't exactly cheer and instead waited in hope (and I've usually got a pretty good eye for these things).

He was a good yard or so on though on looking at the replays, and unlike the referees I'm not paid a grand per game to get these decisions right and had the TV view and don't stand looking at the defensive line of play. Wasn't even borderline - poor decision.

I have just seen the latest anti celtic bile from widely unknown ex tabloid scribe david leggat.always known for his pro rangers stance,i had forgotten all about him until a mate pointed me to his tawdry internet page.i would urge anybody in contact with mr lawell to question if there might be lagal action agqinst this sad,rambling man.from attacks on celtic,to supposed inside knowledge at UEFA through to the constant abuse of graham spiers(for having the cheek to question rangers sectarian signing policy and hate filled anthems)i really feel he is overstepping the mark.maybie a warning shot across his rather large bows would suffice.please dont hit his site,it really is not worth it but celtic should have a look just to check no defamation or downright lies are printed. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - He is a clown Jhedi.}

On a similar note, did anything come of the bile Winters posted on twitter. {Ed007's Note - He flew back into the UK the other day and his site was suspended by the hosting company while they investigated, he had removed the posts but the hosting company had already been notified and had seen the posts.}

Hi bhoys, not for today unless you live
abroad but there is always a link to any
game on VIPbox just google it. So
anyone have any predictions for today's
game? I am going for 3-1 as even though the defence has been a bit more solid as of late I just always feel we are likely to concede. I just really want to win the cup and get the first
trophy oout the way. I don't understand why the league cup is devalued here in Scotland?
No euro place? who cares we always qualify anyway! I think brozek will do a job for us. What Pole can you think of that hasn't? Zaluska? Different position and as backup even he has done a job.

Hi Ed ,
Everyone on here saying that "we knicked rankers target or stole him from under rankers noses " , they did not make a bid for him . McMoist has spoken about every player in Europe and the papers have linked them with every player in Europe . That mob will not sign anybody unless jellylegs moves and even then it will be a no mark .

Im in tears with the posts on that page
there even saying send wylde to Spain or Italy on loan to become a better player
Feck'n hillarious

wait till hull city offer £300k for aluko on tuesday and hes away to and they will be saying he was turkish delight anyway

Bhaldrick {Ed007's Note - There are teams down south watching Aluko, his contract is only till the end of the season, the option for a full time contract can be rejected by Rangers or him. If it didn't work out they could release him or if he gets a better offer he could decide to leave.}

The FA today award the FA Cup tie to Manchester after accepting Patrice Evra's claim that his team in fact scored 6 times. Despite 5 of the goals not being caught by any of the players, the crowd, or the TV cameras, the FA found Mr. Evra a very convincing witness. On other hand, 'we found Mr. Reina's testimony to be totally unreliable. He admitted conceding one goal but was unable to come up with any evidence at all of saving any of the other 5. Since, Mr. Reina could not prove he saved 5 goals, we concluded that they must have been scored'. The referee said that he didn't recall 6 goals being scored but couldn't be sure as he threw his notes away after the game.Responding to comments that Mr. Evra had at very times after the game claimed his team had scored 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 goals, the panel found that Mr. Evra, not being a native speaker of English, had confused these numbers and thought they all meant 6.LFC have been urged not to appeal by fair play campaigners saying that Man Utd won far and square and the team should not condone cheating.

Racist undertones to this post. Not nice. You're basically saying that Evra is a liar which follows on from the complaint he made against Suarez for racist abuse and saying he lied in making that complaint. {Ed007's Note - Behave yourself.}
