Met big Moussa in Glasgow tonight and to be fair he stood and got a picture with us. It was a shame though because big Boyata was there as well and nobody even looked at him haha!

Should have got Boyata involved Kevbhoy. and asked him to take the photo 😂.

Evening buoys! Who do u think will start up front, MD OR LG, I would go for MB as he has bullied them in any game he has played, thoughts.

It really doesn't bother me who we start with but I do think BR will keep one in reserve - same with Forrest and Roberts - and see how things go?
It's great having such competition/ variety and with Armstrong and Sinclair capable of goals from midfield and big Eric getting a taste for shooting, confidence is high.

29 Dec 2016 21:37:20
I agree with PT. The fact we have genuine competition now means there's a plan B. And I'd be comfortable knowing either could come on and make an impact. I'd edge towards MD, but I'll be backing both to score.

I'm looking for the, Smash them into Jam then dip a donut into it, plan.

I have a feeling we are going to take more of the chances we create, if we do, Mordor will be empty by half time.

Morning Lads, usually do this every yr so would like to ask, if money was no object which one player would you sign for us, for yrs it was modric for me, but this yr i've gone for coutinho, think this guy is an absolute baller, looking forward to your replies, Whos your player Ed, i know youve replied before to said question, though can't remember your player?

{Ed007's Note - I don't know who I picked before and I was tempted to go for a 'keeper but I'll plump for Mario Gotze.}

For me it would have to be joe garner! The way he runs about like a maniac barging into people and giving away countless fouls while scoring very little goals really impresses me! 😂😂😝😝😝😝 apart from that I would go for luis Suarez! Bit of a nutter but for me the best striker in Europe!

I'd probably go for Barry McKay ( but doubt we could afford the fee or the wages, plus he wouldn't even consider taking the step down to us from the mighty The Rangers 1974567334 Inc.

So beyond that I'd say ( for us right now ) Ronaldo due to his assists, aerial threat, goals, athleticism, and arrogance ( and the fact that he would be man marked by anout 4 players ) thus opening up space for mikael lustig to make a bid for the golden boot.

It would have to be Gareth Bale. how exciting would that be to see him in our beloved Hoops.
best player on the planet. £500m
best football boots. £300.
Being a Celtic fan. Priceless

Bale is pure athlete and total handful but I reckon Coutinho would be immense in our current team, desperate to have him back in my fantasy football team. We can but dream, If he was a bit younger I would love the athleticism and grace of a vintage Kris Boyd, be like Larsson but better hahahahahaha!

Mkhitaryan for me, such an under rated player so much creativity and goals in him too such a selfless team player. Was always surprised a big club didn't go for him sooner.

Dembele from spurs or Dortmund , preferably both, just to annoy the commentator's 😅.

I think the goals for column rather than simply the points column is a fair indicator of how Hun2 game should pan out. Celtic scoring 52 relative to the Huns 27. Even Aberdeen and Hearts goals tally i. e. 34 and 38 respectively would suggest the Reformed could still struggle to finish in second place. Rogic is a big blow and we haven't been great. Was in last night and it was a bit flat in 2nd half and thought Sinclair who has been superb is a tad off the boil. That being said I reiterate the goals for column makes me sense a Hogmanay Humping of the Hun is coming 🍀.

What a lovely evening, met whole team and BR for pics with family and then spent a lot of the night talking to big JVOH (apparently still a regular) and Mr Bertie Auld who was amazing with the kids. Thought Christie had a good game, Sinky less so. Will be putting money on Armstrong to score on Saturday, will be very surprised if we do not pump them. Family won't ever forget what the club did for us yesterday and cheers for all the lovely messages on here too.

Enjoy the family times even more so mate, because we never know.

anyway happier thoughts . a good win last night, now it`s time to hump the Huns at the CrumpleDome.

3-1 Celtic, a pen for them and a red card for Garner.

Hildeberto Pereira? Would he be a good transfer target for our club? .

Griffiths or dembele? Ad prefer Griffiths but wouldn't complain if dembele started. Am much more concerned about rogic, if he doesn't make it am not sure what ad do. Is Christie ready for ibrox baying for his blood? Is it worth playing Armstrong out of the position he's been so good in? Would sinclair or Roberts be able to fill tommys boots. A know most would say it's going to be comfortable and I'd agree if we weren't parked or at full strength but rogic is key to the way we play. He'll be a big miss if he's out.

I am not to worried who plays but what formation we play. Listening to the serco game last night whilst watching us. The Saints whiched to a back three after being over ran for most of the first half then got right back into the game finishing strongly, we should do the same with Luznig, Simunovic and Sviatchenko in defence with Gamboa and Isaguirre out wide Brown and Armstrong in midfield Forrest and Sinclair behind Dembelle. I have chosen Dembelle for 3 reasons 1 watching Griffiths when he came off he was slightly limping and looked to still have hamstring trouble 2 Dembelle is stronger and would beat up on the Sevco defence which i don't think is the bravest and his hatrick in the last league game.

It's the kind of dilemma most managers can only dream of and it not only keeps supporters guessing - it confounds opponents and managers alike as to how to stop them?
BR has used them both intelligently, alternately and even together depending on the situation and it has worked well.

29 Dec 2016 10:42:52
I wouldn't move Armstrong personally he's playing exactly the way we want him to at the moment.
I would give Christie a run he's got 2 good midfielders with brown and Armstrong protecting him and the zombie defence is limited at best.
Dembele is our first choice striker so I would go with him up front.

Really looking forward to the game, to many media huns spouting bile about the current gers team being on a run and how the celtic team isn't that good. I mean what's 16 points before new year 😠.
Hopefully we will shut them up for another couple months then start the process all over again.

you go with dembele up top …. christie in behind and sinclair and forrest …. depending on christie performance (and mcgregor availability) …. you could then take christie out and slot in mcgregor as a direct number 10 replacement or move sinclair inside and bring on roberts (scoreline dependent) and alternate forrest and sinclair as required

the big decisions will revolve around

mcgregor or christie
griffiths or dembele

for me dembele starts (helps with set pieces for and against) and gives us height and strength where we don't have rogic…

leigh then comes on to get the win …or press home an already comfortable advantage …you don't want griffiths coming on after 70 minutes when you're that rangers defence

so for me . its the same formation 4-3-2-1-1 or 4-3-3-1

gordon with izzy and lustig …sumo and erik…brown and armstrong . id go with mcgregor and forrest, sinclair and dembele with no OUT AND OUT number 10 …i would envisage armstrong and mcgregor alternating that free license and offering options with dembele dropping off and forrest and sinclair coming inside as required ….

but i ain't no manager.

Think Brendan will go with mcgregor in for rogic with dembele up top everything else the same if it ain't broke and awe that.
