Just watched Leicester and they are a joy to watch. No superstars but every player works their socks off and boy do they put a shift in. Just goes to show you what you can do with seemingly average players.
And above all they are a team, not individuals Ronny take note.

I agree Ray, they've been incredible! Ranieri has plenty of critics but he's super shrewd unlike Ronny. Typical Italian coach, - Morgan and Huth cost around Β£1million between them. Wes Morgan played beside Kelvin Wilson for years at Forest and was always just considered a journeyman! Their 2 full backs were free transfers also, and they've probably had the best defence in the league this year! You usually get what you deserve, and with us it's mistake after mistake every week, and the same mistakes, and to make it worse it's against teams in Scotland and teams in Scandinavia. I just worked it out and our team at the weekend cost around the same as the Leicester team tonight! So who is to blame - Ronny, Lawwell or Park?

Only 1 point from two games and no goals scored, can't be much entertainment πŸ˜€.

Agree Delphic and rayman! It just shows what u can achieve when players are played in the right positions and under a manager who knows how to set up teams properly! Top of the EPL with a team full of so called lesser players, players with a hunger and desire to show they're not just there to make up the numbers! RD could learn a thing or two watchn teams like this! Then again maybe not!

Oldbhoy if we played like them (and Ronny promised us this type of football remember) I think we would have a full stadium. And win lose or draw the fans would be happy seeing it knowing the team gives us their all.
Can anyone honestly say that our team is giving their all week in week out.

Old Bhoy once again you show your total lack of knowledge about anything to do with football. There does not need to be goals to make a game exciting. Leicester are joint top of the EPL which is very competitive not like the SPL. They are one of the most entertaining teams in the EPL with one of the best goals scored record. I don't think Ronnie would have Celtic at the top of the Prem after 20 games.

Agree1 Disagree1

30 Dec 2015 11:32:51
Johnymac, and others don't get over excited yet, just as you lot blame RD for losing leads in matches, there are no medals won for second place in EPL at New Year . I admire what they have done so far, but they haven't yet achieved anything . Don't get your knickers in a twist and we will discus the leading positions and performances in foreign leagues at the end of season .
The Sasanach love by some Scottish people never ceases to amaze me.

Agree0 Disagree3

30 Dec 2015 11:53:13
It's not just the last two games and results that define Leicester's achievement this season although it is unfair to compare a seasoned campaigner and technician like Claudio Ranieri to a novice like RD.
They have surprised a lot of people by simply playing to their strengths and using players that suit their style - with the added bonus of an unknown quantity in Vardy like Sunderland did a while ago with kevin Philips.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Dec 2015 14:18:52
Oldbhoy you have just proved you know nothing about football. "You lot blame RD for losing leads in matches".
Tell us exactly who IS to blame for that if it isn't him.

30 Dec 2015 14:28:14
JungleJim 2 unless u have powers that help you to see the future, you won't know what two games, if any two games will define Leicester City's season . Past performances are not necessary a guide to future performance or results . I have seen unfancied teams over performing for a while in a season and by season end have finished very far down league .
We can wait and see .

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Dec 2015 16:11:00
Old Bhoy we are not discussing where Leicester end up in the league. We were commenting on how well they play and where they are in the league currently. They got a point against ManCith who are one of the best teams in Europe. They finished top in their group. You however try and use a comment from Delphic to try and make a case for Ronnie! Every commentator and pundit is applauding Leicester and your comments regarding a goalless draw really shows you up. Reading your comments Is like talking to my Mum about football. No got it wrong she makes more sense and she is 91!

30 Dec 2015 22:58:36
too much watching English Football. Manchester City one of the best teams in Europe . Oops my old age is affecting me, I can't remember them even winning one Champions League final , or get to semi final . Are they in the last 8 every year .
Johnnymac, how do u know what "we" are discussing . You and your friends can discus what you like, but on an open forum I can also post what I think .
Remember u accused me in the wrong before, and we're not man enough to admit u were wrong .

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Dec 2015 14:39:09
Johnny mac we might need a referee to sort it out between you and oldbhoy. Oh wait a minute oldbhoy would just think he is institutionally biased towards you if he lost lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Dec 2015 16:13:23
Rayman, nobody would accuse u of been biased towards me, as you rarely miss an opportunity to get a vibe at me .
However when I dared u last week to stand up an allegation that was a lie, you went into hiding?

Wanted to join the " should we sign Scottish players debate" just think if celtic had signed Russell, Robertson, McCarthy and McArthur nobody on here would have complained.
My point being it is not where a player was born but the QUALITY of that player and scotland has produced so many great players over the years.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

29 Dec 2015 20:31:51
Would prefer Scottish players as long as there talanted ie Lambert McNamara Maloney tom Boyd mould.

29 Dec 2015 23:06:32
It's the players ability to come here and improve as a player is what I'm interested, not Nationality .

30 Dec 2015 00:59:20
Old bhoy you would argue with yourself in the mirror.

30 Dec 2015 05:37:45
I blame the schools.

30 Dec 2015 11:35:03
PaddyMaguire, why does the Nationality alter, the fact that Larsson was Swedish didn't hold him back much at Celtic .
Maybe he before your time Paddy Maguire .

30 Dec 2015 12:10:40
The players you mention Tim would have been excellent and there have been a few others where we might have been more decisive and determined - but hesitated.
Realistically though, I suppose we could never match the cash they are earning down south and even if we had signed a couple of them, the board would have accepted the first decent bid from an epl club after a season or so.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Dec 2015 13:16:47
Just to clarify I would always want better players larsson a one off not really a good example to use but if you were to offer me mcstay Collins Grant mcavennie mcclair Lambert atkin Nicolas burns or else sylla borriegter sheitde pukki or even the mercenaries that were viduka cadete do canio pvh I know which group of those players I would take.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Dec 2015 14:33:40
Paddy when you look back at most Celtic players careers, the players who acted Professionally on and off the field are more and more likely to be remembered fondly than those who arrived and thought they could enjoy Scottish life.
Stokes should be performing regularly at the peak of his career, not trying to untangle the reprucussions of an encounter with a fake Elvis .

It's noticeable that since Celtic appointed a man from a Country not noted for fine weather that we seemed to suffer storm after storm . With another massive storm Hurricane Frank, forecasted for Dundee area tomorrow and maybe putting game at risk. I hope that whenever the board do that round to appointing a new manager, they will appoint one from a more beign are weather wise Spain or N Africa .
Time for RD to go, he brings nothing but bad weather, after bad weather, to us .

Believable1 Unbelievable6

29 Dec 2015 19:38:18
Oldbhoy what's going on wi you. You know fine well the weather is the fault of the SFA, referees and the media.

Agree1 Disagree2

29 Dec 2015 20:01:12
Rayman all the brains of Celtic banter have convinced me that RD is to blame for the stormy weather, the evil chanting at Ibrox and the Loch Ness monster leaving Scottish waters .
Sure the SFA, referees and media have been here for a century or more and we have had only frequent storms since R D came .

Agree1 Disagree3

29 Dec 2015 20:52:27
I just wish Hurricane Frank was our centre half and Captain!

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Dec 2015 23:08:35
Nah Delphic, I am sorry you are wrong . Hurricane Frank will have one good night at best, and will petter out like a damp squib .

30 Dec 2015 12:11:11
No Ronnie is only responsible for the poor football on show, bringing us down to Aberdeen and hearts level, and getting us knocked out of European competitions earlier and earlier. Can I ask if you know what his record is against Aberdeen and hearts is this season oldbhoy .

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Dec 2015 12:14:09
Hurricane Frank?! That's what they used to call my auld man after he ate too many sprouts at Christmas dinner.

30 Dec 2015 12:21:34
I will help you oldbhoy save your data limit, in 4 games against our nearest challengers he has won ONE game .

30 Dec 2015 14:37:46
Fab2 thanks for your clarification . Remind me who are the Champions and who lead the SPL table and what teams are in line for domestic treble .
I won't have you waiting Fab 2, the answer my negative one is Celtic.

What team do you support and how do you show your support?

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Dec 2015 17:24:57
I see that starting next season team's will be allowed to have sponsor's on the back of their shirt's could be a nice earner and allow us to get in some more quality players ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Dec 2015 18:29:58
I would click agree as it will be a nice little earner but disagree that our board will use it for better quality players.
Still, can live in hope and die in despair.

Agree0 Disagree3

29 Dec 2015 19:04:18
Aye Lol i was being a wee bit sarcastic there with the better quality but as you say we can hope.

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Dec 2015 23:11:05
Will it only be in Scotland that we will be able to advertise on back of shirt . If it can be done in England and other leagues it will put price of players and wages even further beyond our reaches .

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Dec 2015 23:59:22
it's the spfl that are allowing it as far as I'm aware so Scotland only not that it matters the next epl deal is going to be even bigger again.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Dec 2015 10:23:03
Soon the tops will be covered in sponsors which saddens me greatly.
