Weather any1 is bothered about skippy goin 2 rangers is irrelevant. I know him, and his family in oz. U wont find bigger tims than them, he wud never put a rangers shirt on, he hates them with a passion

Believable0 Unbelievable3

All McDonald cares about himself and his own well being and career. i think e would go to rangers. remember they helicopter sunday goals and the time just before celtic signed him and rangers were interested he was open to a move to them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think for a min he wouldnt sign for rangers when they wer in for him motherwell wouldnt sell or wer wanting more than rangers offered and mcdonald went off his nut

Believable3 Unbelievable3

From a Rangers point of view I too can't wait until he's back.

{Ed007's Note - City have put some squad together, but it will still be number 20 at OT, you know it KB ;-)
It all depends on Rooney's barnet imo, ed. If the transplant fails, the boy is gonna be devastated. Confidence gone. U*d fall apart.
Failing that, Suarez is gonna give his new locks the old sly tug, and it'll unravel like an old carpet.
Ergo numero 19 at Anfield.
The Real KB no CID {Ed007's Note -Wazzas 'do' was looking OK yesterday and his fringe didn't get in his eyes. He is the captain of my Fantasy Football team, I needed that yesterday! I have Rooney, Suarez and The Wee Pea as my strikers on it.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

As long as De Gea is not your keeper though ed.
The Real KB no CID {Ed007's Note - Shay Given, KB.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Has De Gea got Scottish ancestry ed ? :-D
The Real KB no CID {Ed007's Note - He might have, we did have An De Goram and Alan De Rough (who had the same hair do as DDGs mammy.}

One person on the rangersmedia.co.uk site had this to say about the prospect of Scott McDonald going to the shame......"I'd rather see how many snooker balls I could shove up my arse than have that f****n b**tard in the team." Charming indeed

please please mr Platini can you boot those dirty rotten scoundrels Sion out of Europe and give us a bye into the group stages i know we are 5hite in Europe and have only won once in 32 games but we do not sing naughty songs like those bad rangers supporters so that must count for something if you can see your way to letting us in the back door we promise not to blame the ref when we get pumped again please have pity on us cause everyone over here is against us. the refs, the weather, the sfa, everyones a bloody mason thats why we have not won the league in the last three years its nothing to do with the fact we are rank rotten.

forever in your dept

The Celtic Board {Ed007's Note - What department of UEFA will CFC always be in?? Strange, anyway don't be so negative, us CFC fans are used to being cheated and victimised, it's is just refreshing to see that out with the SFA there are organisations that will punish the guilty and protect the innocent. It is a refreshing change that maybe has came as a shock to CFC fans after having the farce that is the SFA holding us back for so long, Ernie Walker anyone? Just enjoy it mate if we get reinstated, rules are there to be adhered to and if you don't then you will get punished, ask Rangers about the consequences involved in crossing UEFA.}

My 'ideal' Prem :
Celts, Gers, Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds, Bitters, Lpool, City, Salford Cooboys, Stoke, Forest (or Derby or 1 of Welsh clubs), Villa, Birmingham, Wolves, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham.
Nearly every game 40,000+ and those that aren't would still be rocking.
Winner of SPL to go into, say, Championship Play Offs and have to earn promotion.
Obviously compo would have to go to SPL if any of it's teams went into the new "BPL".
A re-negotiated tv deal so that, with the surely increased revenues, three's a fairer spread to the other leagues and less parachute payments for those getting relegated.
Would it ever happen ?
The Real KB no CID
ps no disrespect meant to SPL but I'd personally love to see a national premier league.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

KB, good idea in theory, both Celtic and gers would jump at that chance, but it is not just paying compensation to SPL clubs, who may take it, but the Wigans, Blackburns, Boltons, etc no way would they accept it unless they got some compensation also and i am talking millions, the TV companies would have to sweeten all those clubs. But an interesting idea. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course Tim. But this was just a theoretical ideal. Based on my childhood memories of Shoot magazine and a sort of natural evolution where the big supported clubs would rise to the top, all other things being equal.
The Real KB no CID

Agree0 Disagree0

KB, there was a talk of an "Atlantic League" some time ago to challenge Champions league, teams from smaller countries but big in their own countries ie Ajax, Feyernoord, Benfica, Porto, Anderlecht, Celtic, Rangers etc but it was all talk nothing came of it. Timalloy

Its hard to think samaras was bought for 6 million when man Ciy bought him from Heerenveen

Believable3 Unbelievable0

The Man City supporters obviously thought the same - their nickname for him was Tragedy.

A cant believe he scored 8 goals in the one game

when i had a look at your team on paper you have a descent team .so why have you not won the league in the last three years and played s**t in Europe...it must be down to your manager Lennon the longer you have him in charge the longer you win nothing.i no Celtic fans like him because he will fight for the club and a ex player and fan .but if the spl is not won this year he must be sacked...........borofan

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Did tony mowbray not have something to do with the last 3 years?
you could be right. it was down to the manager and he got the sack.
lennon won a cup and was unlucky not to win the league in his first year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennon has had 1 season out of the 3 you mention. Last season we were rebuilding after your current manager ripped the team apart and left a legacy of average players in our squad which we can't give away. If you are a Boro fan as you say, you should be more worried about what that clueless excuse for a manager Mowbry is likely to do to your own team instead of coming on and telling us who our Manager should be, check your facts first next time, Lennon has had 1 Season.

Mark

Boro fan, only thing I liked about your town was when it was on Auf Wiedersen Pet and the gang were taking the bridge down. Middlesborough, is the bleakest of towns, no wonder you are on the Celtic site for a bit of colour LOL Timalloy

I honesty can't see where some guys think kayal and ki are worth millions. They have won nowt. Davis and naismith are better imo. But we don't harp on about 8mil for davis and 5 for naismith do we? Ull be lucky to get five mil for the 2 of them.

C-bear85

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Try news now celtic, it might help you to see better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well according to your lot on the Darksides pages you don't think any less than 8-10M for Davis if Blackburn are interested, that puts that to bed and If as reports in the press and media are to believed a bid of around 7-8M has been made for Ki so wheres your argument if another club agrees with the value most of us have put on him. I don't think we'll sell him though, we don't need to with europa league money a good possiblity. Think Davis is for the off though an jellyfish not far behind.HMRC. Hail Hail.

Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Yous all said the same about Mcgeady.. and we ended up banking a cool £10million for him ;)

Craig

Agree0 Disagree0

Every rangers fan said exactly the same about mcgeady. They said he was only worth 4 million. Just jealousy. Now he's being sold for 27 million. Go figure.

Agree0 Disagree0

C-bear 85. That's because you're a current bun and you've always got your blue tinted glasses on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic - Bear Any player is worth what another team will pay for him. Apparently a bid of £7m+ has been tabled for Ki from russian club so that is his current value LOL Timalloy (ps £7m would buy your entire squad with change left over )

Agree0 Disagree0

You are all idiots.. and to Mark.. moron you are talking pish, i posted that y should we sell davis for less when he has a 5 yr contract, we got 8M for boumsong and cuellar and 9 for hutton so why would we sell our best player for any less?

Ppl like you must trawk the pages all day thn come bk to your own like a wee girl and twist it. so childish. so would you accept any less for izzaguire or kayal at present..... naw.

And Jelousy of what? A player that USED TO PLAY FOR CELTIC? Oh yeah that makes sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Aug 2011 13:52:04
seeing as everyones desperate for a target man im available to play. im 6'4 and a half and not to great at finishing but that doesnt matter because i wouldnt cost too much. why are we obcessed with buying a target man just get someone to bang the goals in and if were wanting to hit long balls chuck a big cb up top, possibly majstorovic as he cant defend

Believable0 Unbelievable0

29 Aug 2011 11:56:00
On selling Ki......

Personally i'd rather sell Kayal, reluctantly though, as i can see him being trouble once other teams show an interest in him.

Hes already starting to believe the hype and he now has the AGENT to prove it.

Like i say, just my opinion.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

There is a lot of truth in that, but he is our best midfield grafter by far just now.
If Brown was 'half the player' we signed then we wouldn't need Kayal, but the arm band weighs too heavy on him IMO.
But I do agree Kayal is not here for long.

Jinky Fan

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Brown as captain was a big ask and it appears to have been a mistake. It hasn't done the boy or the club any favours.

Agree0 Disagree0

IMO Ki has been our best player this season. He's been getting forward more as well and looks like he's enjoying his football.

Personally if we had to sell one I'd flog Broony, name Kayal as captain, and give Ki the licence to get forward more often (as he's far better at it than Broony from the middle). Forrest, Commons or possibly Ledley could play on the right.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the opposite getting forward is hindering ki's strengths which is sitting deep and spraying passes

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Aug 2011 09:43:17
I think we would be mad to sell Ki, he seems happy at Celtic and he is only going to improve. He hasn't even managed to play a full season for us yet. Keep him for another season and sell him, I think his price could double If he continues the way he's going. I also think Kayal will be looking for a move sooner rather than later, I get the feeling he'll be away If the club get a decent offer for him.

awrite lads dnt wana be negative after the result but although we won 2 nil which im happy with i thought we wer really poor after the second goal we had plenty of chances but overall we wer s**t and for most of the game our midfield was dominated by st. mirren and i said it on thu after the game and again today lennon with his subs is a joke nearly that full 2nd half we wer under pressure my maw who know's jack s**t aboot fitba could see we needed to make a sub yet lennon doesnt make any until near the end with ledley our midfield was screaming out for a change if that had been a team who finsihed better we would have been easily beaten
