Full time Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Unlucky to the 'wee Hoops'. Does anyone know why the Green Brigade weren't there.i'd have thought they would have been well up for it. {Ed007's Note - They didn't attend tonight's game because they don't look on The Rangers/Sevco as legitimate opponents.}

A bit of intellectual journalism in tomorrow's Jabba Journal. Lee Mcculloch : The Day I Asked Celtic Star For Square Go :. Wonder who it was James Forest, Shaun Maloney or maybe it was Hoopy the Huddlehound. DH

Ed007,
Your man Ferguson was at the PFA Awards last night wasn't he, with seven of his players?
I don't know if Evra was one of them, but how come Fergie never made a complaint about the comedian's comments?
We all know that they're a bunch of shrinking violets and that Manchester United are the moral bastion of the planet.
What's happened there then?
:-) {Ed007's Note - They are waiting to see if the conscience of the EPL, LFC were upset over it and if there is anyway they can use it to bleat about being victimised.}

This season has been a strange one for me and a part of it will be the absence of Rangers who for over 100 years have been Celtic's main rivals. However as they financially embarrassed themselves, this is no longer the case.

I seen a lot of criticism yesterday aimed at Neil Lennon and seen a few crackers saying if Celtic had not had such a successful Champions League campaign then this season would have been a failure. I never understand comments like this as Celtic DID qualify for the CL and DID qualify for the last 16! To show how ridiculous a comment like this is - if Motherwell had not scored 3 times yesterday, Celtic would have won 1-0. If Bayern have not scored 4 times last Tuesday then the aggregate score going to the Nou Camp this week would be 0-0. Why bring in situations that did not happen and how can a non-event be used as an 'argument'?

I also do not understand the criticism of our forward players, Samaras, Hooper, Forrest etc. Celtic score goals, the problem lies in defence. In the CL, Celtic scored in every game except the opening game against Benfica which I would put down to first day nerves and the confidence of a lot of players having never played at this level.

This is our goals in the SPL for and against over the past few seasons:-

F A
2012/13 83 34
2011/12 84 21
2010/11 85 22
2009/10 75 39
2008/09 80 33
2007/08 84 26

In the Summer, I want to see Celtic build a team from the back (the old fashioned way). I want a Centre half who can defend and be commanding, not one who can score goals then do a summersault. I would give names but we all know Celtic very rarely do names we have heard of. Unfortunately, the financial situation in Scottish football dictates we must get players with a sell on value. There are no defenders currently playing in Scotland that I would really like to see at Celtic Park. The team nearest to Celtic defence-wise is St Johnstone (40 goals against), does anyone actually really know who their defenders are?

Neil Lennon is showing potential as a Manager, he is still young and gaining experience. Next season will be where he is really judged. He now has experience of the Europa and Champions League and Rangers have been gone for a full season now.

Next Season I expect:-

Qualification for Europe
The SPL title by more points than this season and an improved goal difference
The League or Scottish Cup

I do not expect the last 16 of Europe or the treble and certainly do not see this as a failure for Neil Lennon. The treble can be difficult with one-off Cup games and the last 16 of Europe for a Scottish team needs no explanation. ~ Mrs E

What a lovely moment captured in the worst tabloid in Scotland. How refreshing to see sneaky ally, grinning from ear to ear and giving the thumbs up, at the opening of the largest Sikh temple in Scotland.

Strangely, there were no quotes from the camera loving manager of the third division winners. Nice to see him taking a stand against intolerance though, even if he could not hear his own supporters vile sectarian chanting at Berwick, or find out the identity of Sandazza's religious advisor.

Honestly he gives me the dry heaves. green jhedi

As you may have noticed my postings are limited just now (girls used my laptop to go into an american discount clothes site, guess what? laptop now useless with trojan viruses) Having to use library for now.
Anyway, what about a debate on attendances?
Good to see Celtic offer £100 discount, but more could be done. Offer more family packages adults pay full price but all children get big discounts.
For away fans offer package of entrance plus burger/pie and a drink say £15.
For our loyal (oops sorry wrong word) supporters clubs, Celtic could give them all say £500 each to help with their costs, this gesture would be welcomed and would probably ensure more clubs buses full every week.
Going back to away supporters. I am of an age when most teams brought 4,000+ to Celtic Park, we must find a way to get away fans travelling again in bigger numbers to Celtic Park, and please Celtic do not sell tickets with "restricted views" this only puts off travelling fans, let's face it would you like to travel miles to an away game then not be able to see whole pitch?
It will be interesting to see what the regulars on here have to say? Timalloy

i really hate leggless, and everything he writes. here's another one. celtics blood stained poppy banner.
yeah fine, your right. one of my brothers was a british soldier for 22 years. and yes it's hard to get respect for a minutes silence on remembrance sunday at paradise. but remember this leggless, the guy sitting next to me from derry or the falls, they lost friends and family to the british army.

and the the rangers, parading soldiers before, during and after matches. brilliant absolutely brilliant. would your crowd cheer so much if those soldiers were wearing celtic shirts, and believe me thousands do. no they wouldn't, you are not cheering soldiers, you are cheering the the rangers supporters.

get off your sanctimonious high horse and appreciate why not everyone loves the forces. shammy

i really hate to say it but i'm still reading legless blogs, just found this. mon 18th feb. lennons irish tricolour collar breaks uefa rules.
surely if lennys collar upsets this cretin so much because it's irish. that is an admission to making a racist statement, and should be punished in the law courts.
but if you look at the collar that is so offensive to this excuse for a human being, is it irish?.
the irish tricolour is vertical blocks of green white and orange, identical to an upside down ivory coast flag.
and as we know lennys collar is not vertical in it's design, the green white and orange run round the garment, so obviously not an irish tricolour.

there are however two flags of green white and orange that are horizontal stripes, just like the eye burning collar. india & niger. so maybe it's one of them.

but seriously, what kind of mentality gets upset by the colour of clothes. I would suggest someone who believes anything said by, murray, whyte, green, smith, mcmoist, easdales, king, traynor, gough, hateful, gascoign, goram, laudrup, dodds, mccann,

leggless delete the lot, because I can pick holes in every thing you vomit , you person. shammy
