Always said there's a player in Kouassi Kev, he just needs to get up to match fitness.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 23:49:44
Kouassi was class against Zenit so we know the level he can perform at, but if everyone is fit he won't get a look in. Maybe it would make sense to go out on loan for a season or two.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 07:14:43
I'd send him to killie if Clark would take him. Think it would be good for him malky.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 07:39:07
He played well In one game every other chance he's got he never turned up and his injury record is nearly as bad as sumo.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 Oct 2018 09:14:16
It was no coincidence that when Kouassi went off and McGregor came back one, immediately we looked a totally different team, far more fluent going forward. We've played our best football recently against St Johnstone and Hibs with McGregor in that role. What a player the wee man is and it brings out the best in Forrest and Rogic when McGregor plays in this role.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 09:54:42
That was more to do with the fact that Sinclair was driving at them.
I said on the chat yesterday that I thought McGregor could be a replacement for Brown and not many agreed with me but that doesn't change fact that kouassi was playing good in his role before he got hurt.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 10:04:10
Good comment Stevie.

He’s been here ages and we see little of him due to injuries. That alone should be enough but his performances are hit and miss, mostly miss, when we do see him.

I don’t like seeing the hoops on the deck rolling about like pantomime. We have a plethora of good midfielders who deserve their minutes. Mulumbu is better.

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Oct 2018 10:28:35
Did the guy not have malaria, he then gets over that and has to get his fitness back and his match fitness by playing bits and pieces here and there. Boys not had an easy time of it.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 10:54:53
Malaria is a parasite in the blood caused by Mosquito bite with mosquito stomach content injection.

Drugs clear it up fine.

Yesterday was his big chance and it was a total FAIL. It really was.

He looks as though he has confidence/ psychological problems going on. Best if he moves on and has a fresh start elsewhere. It’s actually best thing for him.

Agree0 Disagree1

28 Oct 2018 21:58:31
Got to say I thought kouassi was playing well before he got hurt today.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 23:27:51
Kouassi has no quality at all. He brings nothing to the team whatsoever. Passing is atrocious. We didn’t look like a team until he was substituted and McGregor dropped back. Hopefully Rogers now realises this.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 Oct 2018 07:13:53
Didn't look like a team? What a load of pish. We were on top and he was playing well. We were struggling to make chances and that isn't his job.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 10:07:51
He took short passes from defenders and passed it backwards to them. It was nothing. I think they were all briefed to play him in the game to turn around his image. He was actually trying to fill Broonies role. It was a fail.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 10:15:24
He wasn’t playing well he was utter pish giving the ball away under no pressure whatsoever. So it’s you who is talking pish. When Kouassi is in the team we look like a man short. He will never make it at Celtic.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 12:50:15
To say he will never make it when the guys still only young is pish. Pretty sure a lot of people said the same about mcgregor at one point, Ryan Christie as well. Said him on loan for a season. he needs games time, something he won't get with brown fit.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 13:04:09
There are players 10 times better than Kouassi who haven’t made it at Celtic. Liam Henderson for example. I’m telling you he is not good enough no matter how old he is.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 13:44:29
What is it with you and Kouassi Ice Man? Are you related?
Wee sister or something? 🤣.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 15:19:15
Big sister mate 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:20:23
So Carlsberg do actually do Sundays. 😂😂😂😆😂😂.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 20:19:12
A cagey first half. The second half we turned up and won convincingly. Watched the next game and that lot are rotten. They Hardly had a shot on target. Nobody has explained the offside rule to their big gangley forward. No doubt the media will try to find something negative against us after a beautiful Sunday!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 20:20:56
I’m looking for the words to beautiful Sunday can anybody help? 😂☘️👍.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 23:37:00
JFP1888, I know you were joking but hey ho

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 23:49:11
Right on cue the daily record headlines Hearts and Celtic fans (it's usually Scottish fans) clash in shocking scenes. Somebody thru a can of juice and a plastic traffic cone! 😂😂😂😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:18:52
Anybody been on the dark side pages?

They are beeling.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 20:17:19
Can't wait to see what Union Jack has to say? As Kwaj says above Carlsberg actually do Sundays haha! HH.

28 Oct 2018 21:59:24
Can't wait is too far Michael it'll be the usual mince.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 22:34:18
Islandcelt, had a look on their site and one poster has described the league cup as a mickey mouse cup anyway. Im just loving it at the minute. oldkilly.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - And he'll be on his 20th log in name.....

29 Oct 2018 11:06:09
Nothing Mickey Mouse about a treble! That includes the league cup.

You would think they would be desperate for any silver ware for their new club.

Mcinnes (although I’m no fan) must be pretty chuffed today. And it was a relative of wee bankrupt bazza armband that scored the goal.

Pretty sweet.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:18:02
I thought today's performance was encouraging after midweek

I thought Sinclair was much more confident and looks to be finding his mojo

Glad to see Christie coming good, a player who wants to be here and the boy has talent.

Good use of substitutes by the manager

Big Ajer was solid - really like this lad

Only negative for me was Naismith injury. I wanted us to beat hearts with him in the side. Still there's always next time.

The penalty was soft, but definitely a pen.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 18:36:02
Well done Aberdeen.

GMS utterly awesome. Passionate, skillfull, energy, athletic, fit, no one in Sevco could touch him.

Looks like a Celtic player there. My man of the match. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

Anyway, Hearts better than Sevco and Aberdeen. So job done.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

28 Oct 2018 18:41:33
To think we gave them GMS and a million quid and got Hayes in return.

Disgraceful business.

Agree4 Disagree1

28 Oct 2018 18:42:53
Totally agree about GMS. He was superb today.
What a fantastic Sunday!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 18:46:41
Aberdeen is GMS level. He can't handle the pressure of playing for us. On his day the boy can play.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 18:52:19
Doesn't have the mentality to be a Celtic player.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 18:59:31
Little fish from a big pond to a big fish to s small pond. Certainly had a good game but never consistent to be a regular Celtic first choice.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:11:31
BS guys.

I suppose Hayes does?

The guy has matured and exorcised his demons. Perhaps McInnes can turn around talent that BR couldn’t?

Kouassi and Hayes to Dons and GMS to CFC Please.

On that showing GMS is good enough for Red Bull.

Agree4 Disagree1

28 Oct 2018 19:36:41
Grey Heid Bhoy, what utter nonsense. someone has had a few today 😂😂😂.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:37:14
And what if they 2 find some form ghb? Will u want them back too. He had his chance, good luck to him but not for us.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:41:26
So playing against a barry white rangers team makes him good enough.

He's been here and was pish.
Couldn't get in the team.
Not got the big team mentality.

Not good enough and that a proven fact.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 21:04:16
Look, I’ve previously explained to you lot weeks ago the importance of having lovely natural blond hair in midfield.

It’s all too easily forgotten.

He arrived with Armstrong from Dun Utd and they had a golden period. He played fantastic football. Then BR took over and he went backwards. (A bit like Griffiths, 40 goals! ) . I think BR wanted Sinclair on the left wing and that was that.

Anyway, Jamesy Forrest had lovely blond hair a few weeks ago and scored a hat trick. The silky golden sheen is wearing off to show a common brown and guess what? No goals from Jamesy. He knows it, I know it, you know it.

Finally, Chris Ajer!

I rest my case.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 21:44:54
He couldn’t get in team even before Rogers. You talk nonsense GHB.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 00:04:43
Blond hair envy. Pitiful!

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 23:41:00
GHB put down that 2nd Bacardi breezer 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Oct 2018 07:10:56
I catch your witty drift GHB 😉😅.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 17:55:51
Great win today bhoys. On another note. I hope to f. k were still not looking at McKenna, he's effing dire.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 18:43:23
I said exactly the same thing!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 18:53:01
Wouldn't swap Hendry for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:12:40
Kept a clean sheet.
But Sevco missing two strikers.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 19:18:06
I would swap Hendry for a pie and bovral at half time.

Agree0 Disagree1

28 Oct 2018 19:32:55
Pie n bovril . It was venison burgers on the menu today. Those rugby boys couldn't handle the cuisine on offer at Scottish football.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 20:30:38
Thought the young Irish boy for them looked decent.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 16:20:12
Magnificent second half from all the team and the subs were well timed and significant from BR.
There is absolutely no doubt we are back to our best - domestically anyway - and that does me just fine.
Playing with a style and hunger that was missing a month ago and breaking down the packed defenses that we struggled against before and although it took a penalty to break through, we were absolutely excellent going forward and it could/ should have been 8/ 9.
Speaking of penalties; nothing said when other teams get them almost every game, but, when we get wan. Whaling, nashing of teeth, hue and cry, murder-polis!
GIRUY Stewart and Levein.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 16:27:57
Thought Stewart who I quite like was a bit anti Celtic today. ex hearts player right enough it was dad a own the boy left his leg there.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 16:54:03
I like Stewart too, he’s the better and more honest of the two in the Sportscene studio.

He seemed to have emotional investment in Hearts today.

Sutton asked the right question “so you’re saying he dived then? ” No no he didn’t dive he was kicked but it was softer than required for a penalty?!?!?!

Honestly.!

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 15:41:16
Young Kieran outstanding today what an individual performance.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 16:55:18
Marked difference from Leipzig.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 15:25:12
Christie and Bain have to be in the first 11 for me now.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 15:37:23
Who would you drop for Christie? I was more impressed with Sinclair thought he looked like the Sinclair from 2 seasons ago.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He could play the box to box role in the 2 beside one of the DMs of Brown/Mulumbu/Kouassi - do the job Armstrong used to do - and with the injury situation we wouldn't need to drop anyone.}

28 Oct 2018 15:45:59
Bain has stepped up every time he's asked and although I think BR favours Gordon, I would like to see him get a run, but whatever happens Bain looks to have a Cup Final place booked to continue his run in the tournament. Feel great for Christie as he has been down the pecking order for a while and always wanted him to succeed, but he has a lot of competition when everyone's fit.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 16:02:09
In a squad that plays in 4 fronts there is no need to drop anyone. Resting players is essential though.
Christie is a player who's contract should be extended for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 16:09:12
This really is the player who we have missed the most, Replacing Armstrong and i Think Christie will now be THAT player.
Pace-goals-vision. Fearless, its all there.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 16:23:07
Ntcham wants away, so, that’s the position that’s up for grabs. If he keeps it up then Ntcham will need to step up it his arse will be warming the bench.

Agree0 Disagree1

28 Oct 2018 17:26:21
I’ve been a Christie fan for two and a half years. He did brilliantly at Aberdeen. They miss him a great deal.

But you lot above had him on your boot out the door lists four and five days ago.

Oh how 45 minutes brings about so many U turns.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 17:51:14
Christie is capable of all the midfield roles and can fill in both wings . can replace / step in / cover the ntcham mgregor rogic and the armstrong role we've mussed . until he gets a run we won't know how much better or worse he'd be . but a very versatile young player.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 15:08:56

Believable4 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 15:46:08

Second half super sub.

Hearts Goalie made some remarkable saves. Could have been 8.

Got the girls up bright and early (well they did get an extra hour lie in thanks to the clocks going back lol) heading to Murrayfield, Mrs T planning a relaxing day at home with us gone.
Got my bets on already
Naismith booking (what a surprise) 6/ 5, penalty 5/ 2
In the Sevco game I cannot get my usual bookings bet on with Morelos and Lafferty out.
But Coulibaby is a dirty player so he is 2/ 1 for a card.
Penalty (yes imagine a penalty in a Sevco game unheard of eh? ) 5/ 2
Ordering off 3/ 1.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

28 Oct 2018 12:14:51

Agree3 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 08:11:09
So, 27000 Gorgie glory hunters to attend Murrayfield today. I assume Swinecastle will be packed to the rafters for every remaining home game this season. I wonder!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I’ve not wanted us to win a game so much in a while now! Of course I want us to win every game, but this one will feel so sweet against the wee people and that clown Levein! Cannot stand that club or him! Come on Bhoys let’s show these clowns who's boss! COYBIG! 🍀🍻👊🏻.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 11:09:44
I can see us hammering them. That all depends of course on our pathetic defending though. Try not to commit horrendous mistakes and we should have far too much for them.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 11:48:08
Apart from the threadbare defense I worry about us taking a kicking - with no protection or reaction from the referee - just like the game earlier in the season. However, we should have enough 'fire-power' to see us through and I will be so happy to see us beat this shower.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 12:16:14
Celtic goals can come from anywhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 12:18:54
I think that one of them will be tasked with giving Teirney a serious clatter today.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2018 20:15:04
I don't see a problem with a 50/50 split in tickets as long as the team can sell them. Every team should have equal opportunities in semi-finals and finals.

What should happen from now on is that tickets must be sold section by section and if you can't sell out the rest should be offered to the other team.

As for wanting to win Today Lh88 I am same as you. I actually have less respect for hearts fans than The Rangers fans. I went to Tynecastle and the were about 50 supporters who were all wearing rangers tops sitting together in one section. No other set of fans including The Rangers would allow that to happen in there home ground.
