Read a few comments about James Forrest being poor on sunday also everybody was excellent except James? One player was excellent in my opinion Anthony Stokes the stand out performance of the cup final, super Joe broony big Kelvin Chico super Hooper all played very well with super Hooper applying two excellent finishes again imho. Celtic employed a system close to a 4-3-3 with Forrest playing right of the midfield 3 a position anyone who follows Celtic knows is a position normally filled by broony in this formation big Vic central super Joe left obviously with Vic & Kayal suspended a bit of shuffling would be needed. Options? Mc Court commons mc geouch efe, lenny chose Forrest for his fitness & his discipline even 75% fit he tracks more & kept the shape well compared to paddy & commons in this role. If he used efe imo it would have been central of the 3 in mid as he has done on a couple of occasions not to great effect but it would have been a gamble & a rope if things didn't go to plan the haters & press would have lynched him with. Dylan again a gamble threw injury & so on not been able to showcase his talent or get a proper run in the team. We also played with a diamond midfield formation at some points during the game & also 4 4 2, commons given the tip of the diamond & a free reign to join the strikers as & when the space & time materialized. Forrest for 5 mins after commons was subbed played in that role got on the ball & looked more like himself in a familiar role to him, folks he wasn't used in his wide right berth we are familiar to seeing leaving the opposition in his wake. He was asked to perform a role unfamiliar to him but he was disciplined & done the job asked by lenny 3 - 0 final won double bubble job done. Watch the game rarely wasted a pass was disciplined in the role he was asked to perform, poor? Effective nowt flashy job done don't get a bee in yer bunnet as some have about the kid, sorry young man. Imho he has suffered obviously with injury & hopefully it won't be something which restricts his career but apart from Sammi he is the only one with real pace & skill to get opposition defenders worried with the ability to go inside outside of them. Any news on players in and out ed? Find the talk about Tonev strange since NL still doesn't know his budget. From what I have saw looks a decent player though.

you know, I actually think that someone we've never heard of, from like an Eastern European league or something would be better than some random SPL dud, a past it Championship/Premier League journeyman, or the first Irish player that comes to mind.

Some good players on this site available on a free transfer, may be worth a shot.

Two that stand out to me are Nicky Shorey, good LB still only 32 who would definitely give Emilio a run for his money.

And, ex Chelsea youngster Sam Bangura 18, can play on either flank and I remember watching a few youth games he looked very accomplished.

Oh dear! Whytes solicitors holding up the Green-Whyte report. Evidence to be released including the complaint to the serious fraud squad that Green had not informed investors, in prospectus, of Whytes involvement.
Something about Worthington group using three million from their Jerome pension fund.
