A big congratulations to Jackson Irvine who scored for Australia today. A lot of player's heads go down if they're let go by a club like ours but he's worked hard and done really well for himself down south. I even read he'd knocked back big money from China because he wants to play at as high a level as possible. That's a terrific attitude and a good example to any young player let go by a big club.

Think we made a mistake when we let him slip away.

Maybe Kev but he may never have had the game time he needed to really hit this form. One of those "what if" situations.

Always thought he stood out against us whenever he played against us.
Hope he goes on to a good career.

I may be wrong but i think we offered him a contract towards the end of his loan spell at Ross County, likewise I also thought he done well against us, I believe he is one of the better players at Burton, I hope he gets a move to a more established championship club and kicks on from there.

We did Doidy16 but he knocked it back saying it was only offered so we could get cash for him.

I recall that, we did the same thing with Dylan McGeouch before punting him to Hibs, don't blame him for rejecting it.

He's a trier that one. Overlooked for a junior spot in the A-League as a youngster, and still managed to believe in himself and work his backside off overseas. Any success he has had or will have is all down to him. Guys like Miller and Watt would have had amazing careers had they had Irvine's determination and level headedness. I hope he keeps his place and ends up in Russia.

That's right bhoys and if would be kind enough to acknowledge I was the first to say it was stupid to let him go!

Lad can play in a right few positions and within 8 WEEKS of letting him go he was the best player in Scotland outwith us according to a decent sunday paper

And the next one who is the next mistake IMO is Leo Fasan! His weakness his kicking and with no gripe at all with BR he likes a ball playing keeper

But as an ex keeper fur fox sake what ever happened to having a keeper that could catch it at corners? and you had a wee wager he could keep a penalty out? (y)

Just watching the Rio Ferdinand programme, heartbreaking, a very brave thing to do, i hope it helps more men to seek help in troubled times, no one should feel alone in this world. Keep going big man, football fans from all clubs are right behind you, best centre half in modern times. God bless you.

Watching same program. A brave thing to do. He looks a bit lost then you see Darren Clarke and it does prove that you can come out the other side but getting there is difficult. Rio looks like a really nice genuine guy that you would want as your mate. Well done Rio. God Bless.

It's interesting seeing how other people handle it to get an insight I lost my wife last month to lung cancer and it's just me and my wee boy I don't have that privilege of speaking to other people but what I will say is I've had great friends rallying round especially with wee man and his disabilities haven't brought myself to watch Rio Ferdinand yet but fair play to him for speaking out.

its an awful illness graham, my cousin passed away with it in january leaving a young family, my gran died with it too, get yourself involved on here mate we all get a laugh and a joke especially on the live chat, it can maybe help take your mind off stuff even for a short while, most of us on here probably have been touched by this horrible disease so its good to get a chat with the bhoys. you'll never walk alone mate.

Graham there are no words we can say that help you right now. Its like why is life going on for everyone else but my life and my boys life is so different. You just feel lost and that's how it is for a time. You never forget but if you can add some good memories into your day and your boys day then it helps. Take care and so sorry to learn of your loss. Hugs for your boy.

Aberdeen need to win every game and need us to lose every game otherwise the league's ours. They play before us at the weekend so if they don't win it's party time!

We want Aberdeen to win. don't let Rangers get near them.

Yeh mate if Aberdeen lose on Friday we win, because they'd only have 24 points to play for and we're 25 ahead. personally I want us to win it at the wee Huns on Sunday! HH.

I'm thinking the original post was a little tongue in cheek as no one wins a league without kicking a ball and we've kicked quite a few balls this season. lol.

Having a bit of a moment here bhoys, can we win the league on sunday if Aberdeen don't win on friday?

I don't think the Aberdeen results matter. According to sly sports after the Scotland game we will win the league if we win on Sunday.

i've a funny feeling we'll win it on friday night with dundee beating aberdeen, i'd rather aberdeen won to keep well ahead of sevco as we can win it for ourselves by beating the jambos at tynecastle on sunday.

28 Mar 2017 17:55:25
Does anybody want dundee to win?, takes a bit of the shine off it for me when that happens, would prefer to win it against hearts myself.

Bhoys got a bad feeling about Tyncastle on Sunday? No idea why just feels tricky for some reason. Probably go and win 7-1 now😂.
