Got to admit that the comeback from Celtic since bonfire night (although hard to admit) has got to be admired, We have been masters of our own downfall, but credit were it is due. I can only hope that you do what you did last season, think that its won before it is, :-P
I am signing off for the New Year,Have a good one,
PS: I saw that fat lady in Tesco, she is still not signing.
Pete
U said the same thing the other night about the fat lady blah blah blah and how we have rode our luck well a turnover of 17 points and 22 goals is not luck .......DH
Fat lady signing ? for rangers ? can they afford her wages or will she be self-employed like aluko ?

Hello all, not been on in a while i hope the holiday season is being enjoyed by all! bears and bhoys alike :) !
Dunno what i enjoyed most of all tonight, the deserved win, or the gent from perth on Your Call who was greeting that was bloody hilarious!!
Anyways, bit of a drab match, we didnt really play any better than we had to which i will take as a good sign of things to come. Also gotta say well done to rangers, they did come out to have a go at us rather than sit back and park the bus so give credit where it is due.
Last paragraph (honest folks) that 'goal', was never fully over the line, the shot right on the line you could see some of the ball hidden by the post so not fully accross the plane of the line IMO. ANd i would be saying that if it was at the other end! so all in all a great night and a great way to keep the festivities going between xmas and new year! Lets keep this up and i will be a happy hoop!
Evinguu
Who cares mate we got 3 points and we r top thats all that matters. coulda woulda shoulda bout time things didnt go their way. great performance in difficult conditions. mon the hoops

Hi ed, the Christmas period has been amazing,especially tonight,we didn't even play to our best standard and we still were comfortable winners, I just hope we add to the squad and don't do what we have in previous years and think we can get there, it's came back to bite us in the bum before, merry Christmas btw {Ed003's Note - Merry Christmas to you aswell,enjoy your night. }
28 Dec 2011 22:53:30
Celtic dominated the game start to finish. Yeh wallace header was over the line imo but decision was evened out with the hooper off side call and healy tackle on forest. Things are only going to get worse for rangers with there financial situation the players are just not good enough. Kyal and wanyama dominated midfield restricting rangers to long balls. Ronge and mulgrew had a solid game as did the 2 full backs. What a turn around let's go on and win the championship now.

28 Dec 2011 22:19:26
Celtic crowd were absolutely tremendous tonight ! Neil said he wanted to bring back the Thunder - well he's succeeded .
28 Dec 2011 22:11:09
2 points clear after being 15 points behind 2 months ago, a 17 point swing, what a turnaround, well done Celtic and well done Neil Lennon.
I have to say but it was a poor game first half wind spoiled it, and brought us down to their level.
Celtic top of the league for 2012 hail hail Timalloy
28 Dec 2011 21:59:22
hail hail lets all do the huddle a hope kayal is not out 4 long
28 Dec 2011 21:55:00
well done yous got your result and yous are top of the league but the champions will be back cant wait until march for the game at ibrox revenge is sweet plus in all honesty it should have been a draw lee wallaces header was over the line but fair enough yous are top the now but enjoy while it lasts because yous wont be top for very long enjoy your night while it lasts
If your going to cast up lee wallace no goal, what about hooper who was wrongly flagged offside when clean through
Did the hole ball cross the line?very hard to tell, most rangers fans are convinced it was...they must all have 3D tellys.
Got to say I was happy with our performance given our recent form. Ledley took his goal well but apart from that it could have gone either way. As for the 'goal' there was no way the lino was seeing that. Some you win, some you loose. Well done Celtic but don't get too comfy up there. We're coming to get our throne back ;-)

28 Dec 2011 20:48:52
Terrible first half. Why not keep the ball on the deck and up the tempo?? Wee Forrest is a threat but a wee bit too predictable and hesitant at times.
Wind causing havoc and will force mistakes, so why are we not shooting on site?
Too many high balls difficult to judge so play fitba
and get more from Brown, Kayal and Hooper.
Let-off with the Wallace header as slo-mo looks as if it crossed the line so lucky break for a change.
4 goals in first half at St Mirren so weather is no excuse. Mon The Hoops!
JJ
I've seen wallace shot a few times still dont think full ball went over the line
28 Dec 2011 19:13:41

Any News on game? its a wee tad windy.
28 Dec 2011 14:14:48
heard game could be off tonight because celtic park, also known as the meccano set had been blown apart :)
If the old shoe box called Ibrox is still standing then well be ok
At least we own our meccano stadium.
Only thing getting blown apart tonight is your defence son
28 Dec 2011 14:12:06
any one know if game is in danger of getting called off ?
28 Dec 2011 14:07:34
According to weather reports the wind will die down tonight, it looks that way already here in Renfrewshire, not as bad as this morning, still windy none the less. The police are probably holding off as long as possible before they make decision on the game.
28 Dec 2011 13:43:17
The game is on they dont call it the fortress for nothing, pictch is covered until couple of hours before KO and I think you will find that there is very little gale getting into Parkhead tonight
28 Dec 2011 13:26:43
from the official celtic website regarding the weather for tonights game
The weather for Celtic Park ahead of this evenings Glasgow derby, as forecast at 0800, is as follows:
Frequent showers of rain, perhaps with a little hail or sleet by or soon after dusk, with some clear spells during the match.
There will be severe westerly gales with steady speeds around 40mph, which will veer a bit more northwesterly and begin to ease. There is a risk of gusts over 70mph in the afternoon but probably no more than 40 to 50mph during the match.
The temperature is forecast to be between three and six degrees Celsius

Heck of a storm today - Ma fence blew doon and ma wheely bin is on its way - to a more caring family?! So maybe the game might be postponed if 'The Brussel Sprouts Backlash' keeps blowing.
Hope not as we need to keep up the momentum.
Rangers will be really fired up for it and I expect an early booking for McCulloch - although Collum will be predictably poor. Forrest will be missed if reports of his hamstring injury are correct. But Stokes and Mathews and maybe Izzy will give plenty options.
I never predict OF games but even if we lose, it is often the case that Rangers rarely win the following week - as it seems to take its toll on them?
Hope it's a good game - we win - and the headlines are ALL football related.....

Leaving at 1 for the game to start my 200 mile journey from ne Scotland, how's the weather in Glasgow guys?

28 Dec 2011 11:53:09
i am hearing the game could be off tonight, due to high winds causing concern over public safety.
28 Dec 2011 11:16:06
Hiya folks, im through in Fife and it is wild here. Rain and wind battering down. Whats the Glasgow weather like? Just wondering if their might be a postponement.
Joeshmo1888

28 Dec 2011 10:47:21
is rangers new deal with stv the reason stv are not showing mculloch elbowing carey on the sports report, it will be interesting to see how any controversial incidents in tonights game are reported on stv

I know that Lenny is going to look for defenders in jan, what would you think of Stefan Savic from man city, he's a international and looks a good player from the bit that I've seen from him. Plus on bbc website it says he's looking for a loan.
Robbhoy
I would have to agree totally with you would steady the ship for a while until summer at least and for a youngster is a mountain of a boy, big things expected great shout!
Aye n he's prob on bout 70000 a week
Not on loan, Man City are activley looking to loan him out so would be a very small percentage of his wage and Savic being unproven younster is actually one of the lowest earners at City
He's going on loan to Sporting Lisbon.
28 Dec 2011 08:54:26
Question for the Ed - can the Hearts players rip up their contracts in the same way Chris Boyd did with his Turkish side? If so, i would hope Lennon and Lawwell have sounded out Templeton to move to CP in January.
Mickbhoy. {Ed001's Note - unless Vlad is again not paying them, he kept them under contract by making payments, but they are all up for sale. But any more missed payments will see the players able to rip up their contracts.}
28 Dec 2011 09:08:31
Rangers fan here, but am just wondering honestly what you guys are thinking for the game tonight? i think alot of rangers fans are putting on a brave face, personally im worried we have been poor the last few games (5/6 even) players like davis not showing ( our capt), i would love us to win at you gaff but think your mid field is far to strong and if we set up like i think we will 4-5-1 brown ki and kayal well boss the game, i really hope i get proved wrong as i love my club as much as you bhoys do
If the winds keep up there might not be a game
Behave yourself mate it's just a wee breeze, it would be a farce if the game was off.
If its just as you say a wee breeze why is there weather warnings telling people not too travel unless its necessary
