The club fears a heavy punishment, with a heavy fine or a ban on some or all of its supporters attending home or away games a possibility.

Worryingly for Rangers, Uefa is likely to take into consideration the behaviour of the club's fans in the past five years.

The Glasgow club was fined £13, 300 for supporters' discriminatory chanting and £9,000 for attacking their opponents' team bus during an away game against Villarreal in 2006.

And Uefa issued a fine of £8, 280 for some Rangers fans' behaviour during a match against Osasuna in May 2007.

The following year, at the Uefa Cup final in Manchester, fans were involved in city centre riots, and a fine of £18,000 was imposed by Uefa for fan violence when the club played Unirea Urziceni in Romania in November 2009.

Rangers, though, are angry that they face punishment, with chief executive Martin Bain arguing that they are being unfairly targeted
Uefa has fined Rangers 40,000 euros and banned its fans from the club's next away European game for sectarian singing in a match at PSV Eindhoven. why would anyone sign for them! ! !

Ed Celtic have been linked with Long from Reading today in the papers, just wondering what do you think our chances of getting this player are? If so, how much do you think he would cost?

The Ace Face {Ed001's Note - I would say he would cost about 3m, more if he moves to the EPL though. I don't think there is much competition for him, he has not really been all that outstanding this season and needs to do a lot better to prove himself.}

I read the news today, that 7 of Celtics u19s winning team from last night are to be released, 9 players in total from the squad. This really baffles and upsets me, the same thing happened 2 years ago, i watched almost every game, and in my humble opinion, a few of the players looked very talented. Obviously Celtics coaches know a lot more than me, but it is heartbraking for these youngsters, a lot of whom will be so shattered they are lost to the game. I would give advice to any youngster coming into the game, that they have a far greater chance of making it , by signing for a smaller club, and if they are good enough they will get a chance, steer clear of Celtic unless you are amazing, and who knows, you might end up at Celtic in the long run,

Celtic are still in contact with Keiran Westwood but if that fails we are trying to get a permanent transfer for Fraser Forster. £1m should be enough with Newcastle having two other good keepers and they are looking at a third. There is also talk of a Swedish keeper coming in but not heard names or any other info on him.

wit ever mate it was me that posted on this aswell about mulgrew, juarez and ljungberg wee man i train 4 times a week twice at lennoxtown and twice at barrowfield and have also trained with the first team on 6 occasion have also been on the news aswell {Ed007's Note - So you rushed back home tonight after clinching the league and cup double, just after beating Rangers in front of 15,000 people to post on here? I've been on Scotland Today as well big man (lol), so have a few people I know, doesn't mean we play for Celtic though, if I'm wrong I'll apoligise big man (lol) but I think my instincts are right on this one}

well your wrong cause that's the names going around in training and i have a injury but believe it or not your choice only posting whats getting said then you have someone like you giving och naw you don't when i clearly do well im off got training with the first team tomorrow come to lennoxtown if you want and i will give you my signature {Ed007's Note -Must be a serious injury you were left out of tonights game but are training with the first team tomorrow??
