Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

ED, I notice whenever anyone mentions Kris Commons, your back goes up. Is this because of his attitude on the pitch, which imo has been very poor this season, or do you know more. His time at previous clubs have a pattern, he starts off well, then he loses interest and engineers a move away. Do you think this is what is happening with us, or can you see him knuckling down and recapturing last seasons form. I have heard rumours that Maloney and Commons had a fallout with lenny, but you hear that many rumours that are complete bull, you don't know what to believe. I am interested in your view on Commons ed.
paddybhoy {Ed007's Note - He is a disgrace Paddy mate, I can's say because of legal reasons.}

Thanks ed i understand, it will all come out in the wash!! {Ed007's Note - Cheers mate, I really can't say what I know.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Alright Ed007. I have posted this before but it was never put on the the site. Rumours persist that Common's has been trying to engineer a move away from Celtic for some time and could be set for a shock switch to Ibrox in January. I know u hate him ed but this rumour has been going about for a few days now and it seems there could possibly be an element of truth in it? You heard anything similar ed?

Gerry The Ger.

Agree1 Disagree3

Paddy, there's this recurring rumour that Lennon has been turning up at Lennoxtown reeking of booze and this has had a bearing on what's happened. Ed??........Miko {Ed007's Note - I think that would come out Miko, not saying it BS but it would be hard to keep it QT.}

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope you silence doesn't speak volumes for what you know Ed007. Personally i think Commons is a decent player but i wouldn't want him anywhere near Ibrox. Apparently he shat on Derby from a huge height when he left to join Celtic and it appears he is going to do exactly the same thing to Celtic.

Gerry The Ger. {Ed007's Note - He has done the same at every club Gerry.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope it is BS Ed!! Anyone else heard this rumour?........Miko {Ed007's Note - Just on here and a a night out the other week.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i hope its all rubbish ed but my source is usually pretty accurate. Anyway have a good one ed and give a shout out to Neil T, noticed he's not been on for a while so hope you're keeping alright Neil.

Gerry The Ger. {Ed007's Note - Yeah he's not been about, hope he is ok. Well done for your decency Gerry, some things are more important.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Commons only came to Celtic because rangers couldn't pay him the 23 grand pw he wanted was it not ?

We all know & understand u can't talk about what's happened with him & Lennon, but take Lennon last night with that hibs player squaring up to kayal, Lennon was over in the hibs guys face faster than lighting. Now u picture a Celtic team getting it tight in a dressing room Lennon blowing a fuse & someone giving him it back ? People lose it in the heat of the moment ? Ie commons telling Lennon what he thinks, Lennon calling him a fat b, then commons takes it below the belt ? Hes a good player last season but he never wanted to come to Celtic from what i remember, he also doesn't uses his loaf, ie in this case with Lennon  & when he scored at hearts then runs to the crowd while on a yellow card. Yet take jelly fish on the cup game scores the ET winning goal was ready to whip the top off to celebrate, takes a second to think he's already on the yellow card n stops him self taking it off.

Come on you bhoys in green
Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Aww..c'mon how could rangers not afford him, we paid £300,000 not millions..and he has 3 yrs of his contract left !

Maybe the guy is injured, he was also left out of the Scotland squad due to injury or did he tell the Geography teacher (Levein) he was stinking of booze as well ?

Anyway, he has James Forrest to fight for a place now...

Agree0 Disagree0

To Gerry the Ger , Tony , Germinator and all the other "Sheep in denial" , Rangers will not be BUYING Kris Commons or anybody for that matter ... You all might want to have a read at the back page of todays Daily Ranger , Rangers could be actually facing a 25 , yes 25 point deduction if they lose the tax case and are forced into administration , they will under SPL rules be docked a mandatory 10 point deduction , a Creditors Voluntary Agreement (CVA) will then be offered to anyone Rangers owe money to , if 75% of Rangers shareholders and a similar percentage of creditors accept a fraction of what they are OWED the club can come out of administration with only the 10 point penalty , but if HMRC put a block on the deal as they did with Leeds Utd in 2007 , then Rangers would cease to be , and assets would be transferred to any new company Mr Whyte formed in their place , financial analysts have said HMRC are allowed to object to CVA's if owed more than 25% of a company's debt , if they lose the tax case they facing a tax bill of £40m , clubs who cannot exit administration by CVA's are liable to a further 15 point deduction . apparantly if Rangers are placed in administration before the tax case is settled they can escape with only the mandatory 10 point penalty , so watch this space , that may be their course of action , heid oot the sand time lads !

Speaking to a celtic fan from londonderry on holiday and asked him why McCourt cant play 90 minutes or start a game , the reply I got was that he is a lazy trainer and cant maintain his fitness and diet away from Lennoxtown. im a gers fan and can see the player has enormous ability and potential and also the best close ball dribbler our game has saw in years . Paddy you could be an enormous talent or else go the way of some our footballs nearly men, this is your job and you are denying our game up here of proper good time football.

Anyone notice the similarities to last season? ki playing up until January when he goes to the Asian cup. celtic struggling. he stops playing celtic go on a winning run and start playing well.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Bit harsh on Ki. IMO he's been one of our better performers this season. There's no hiding the fact he does tend to go missing in physical games but in general he's been a pretty consistent player for us so far and he's only gone missing in games where the rest aren't exactly firing on all cylinders either.

That said we could do with having Brown back. The side needs the grit he brings to the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah i like ki but it was the same as last season one of the better players in a struggling team. he goes to the asian cup and we go on a run

Ed,
Is Rab Nesbitt a Rangers man ?
And is Rab's wife a stoater ? She's looking tidy these days..

Jamesie is a gent. I was sitting in front of him in the semi against Falkirk (what possibilities there?) the second replay which we lost 1-0 at Castle Greyskull..De Canio and all with TB in charge. He had the decency to comment that I was talking a lot of sense....It was a long time ago mind...:)

As I look into my crystal ball I see a new dominant force emerge in the west.
An empire will fall and years of history and tradition will be forgotten.

Although a new power will emerge as the dominant force, I see it is the old regime that will fail.

I see the initials HMRC and this could be significant in the downfall of the old regime.

The future is bright the future is green white and gold.

Agree2 Disagree3

There will be no future.......................no money will go into spl, face facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

So ur willing to admit that rangers are and have always been the dominant force then ?

Really thought our young ones done well 2nite Forest,Rogne,Wanyama and especially Matthews who will be our right back for years 2 come special mention for Joe Ledley who I thought was MOM 2nite,can't wait till we get our injuries behind us and go on a decent run (would still like to c Craig Gordon signed cos our keeper doesn't fill me with confidence)......DH

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Craig Gordon doesn't fill me with confidence he gets broken wrists and fingers and arms and hands far to often

Ed - pleased with result & manner of it...coming back in that style ! however, don't think my nerves will take much more of this, going behind (or 1-1 at weekend) before they buck up their ideas - Chrissy

Well bhoys, we can all agree that the first half was terrible that's for sure. But thanks mostly to Jamesy Bhoy we came back strong and had a great second half. But again Ki and Kayal were shocking Ki in particular (he needs dropped just to wake him up).
Rogne was pretty decent so hopefully if mulgrews back for sat (hibs) I would go with Ronge and Mulgrew at the back. Still not playing the way we were last season ok we've got alot of players injured but thats why weve got a big squad. Should defo win the league cup now but this season can you be sure about anything?
I just hope we start playing well sooner than later as we have to win the league this season or it's all over for lenny and alot of supporters too.
Hail Hail
